I arranged to pick up my car at 9am on a Saturday from Peter Vardy Vauxhall in Motherwell. On arrival I was informed it was still being valeted. This took over an hour, then informed that there was an issue with a tyre and they were looking at a pressure issue. Eventually left the showroom at 1130 with my car. The saga then began with issue of no horn or air conditioning. Phoned nearly every day to be told someone will contact you. This carried on for close on 4 weeks. Sent letter to head office, no reply after 2 weeks, so then sent an e-mail with the letter attached. 4 days later finally a phone call to say, sorry you have had issues someone from Motherwell will be in touch. 4 hours later call from Motherwell, "we won't sort the issues that is what the warranty is for", why should I use my warranty when these issues existed when they actually sold me the car. I am now in process of getting car sorted by a reputable garage and claiming the warranty as Motherwell have basically washed their hands of the car. I have previously bought 2 cars from Peter Vardy as Hillington and any issues where resolved instantly. I would not be recommending Motherwell at all as their service is a disgrace.

Purchased used vehicle from Peter Vardy Vauxhall Motherwell, took it back twice , so it had an mot, plus 114 point check before mot and after???? Took it for independent survey , front strutt leaking, holes in boot due to accidend damage, glass under rear seat, both rear tyres illegal on inner walls, air con inoperative, they replaced two tyres as goodwill gesture, said they were not illegal!!!! I have had to pay over £400.00 of my own money to legalise car, moto novo finance are hopeless as was, and are peter vardy motherwell, called in trading standards and vosa , as this vehicle should never have been motd with faults listed. Dissapointed with them but have heard of other horrer stories is now in hands if financial ombudsmen and court if no satifactory outcome achieve

Hi there? I’m in the same situation with the motherwell branch. utterly disgraceful service. I put £2500 down on a car 4 months ago and i’ve had nothing but issues with it. They are pushing a new car onto me ‘with a discount’ to make up for it but i’m still losing £1500 that way. I want to take it further and fight for my £2500. i’m just wondering if your situation worked out ?
I bought a Ford Fiesta which I found online and I am very pleased with it.. I have had it for around 3 months now and I have had no issues with it at all. It was really clean and just as it was described. The staff were great, really helpful and reliable and I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Everything was absolutely fine! I bought a Corsa from them In April and the service was of a very high standard. I have had the car for a few months now and I have had no issues at all. I would highly recommend Peter Vardy.

Saw a car online and went to view it. The salesperson didn't know anything really about the vehicle, even though I had arranged a couple of days in advance to view it; i was just shown the pictures and he made some comments that were all online - nothing new. The salesperson and went to discuss the finances, the salesperson mentioned a registration fee that was applied. When finding out more, it was not a registration fee but a payment for their much talked about 114 point inspection and administration costs. I had heard about the pushy nature of getting finances and warranties, and although I didn't experience that (in fact they did offer a deal on the warranty), the back and forth nature of 'only the senior sales can negotiate' a tiresome affair - be prepared to hang around for a while. After leaving and following up on the reg fee, when quizzed I was ignored and no response given. I understand mistakes are made, but I gave plenty of opportunity to make amends and clarify. I felt that I had lost trust in this dealership and the Peter Vardy brand. The follow up after care was lacking, you get passed about and ignored by their processes I would not recommend based on my experience.

On the day they were fine but the after sales definitely let them down. I paid for a full tank of petrol but it was nearly empty and I had to go fill it up straight away. They also were delayed getting the finance sorted and I needed the car. I kept calling and every time they just said they would get somebody to call me back, I felt mucked about really and a lady I was sat next to had the same problem.
