I asked Phil and Dan for a Mitsubishi l200 with tipping body and a max price I was hoping to pay. I could have sold it 5 times and easily over for what I paid. It’s been nearly a year and absolutely nothing has missed a beat. The best guys I have ever dealt with in the motor trade.

We bought our vehicle from Phil Foster 4x4 over 2 years ago and for an 04 reg it is in very good condition. We have had no issues with it in over 20,000 miles. Phil is a knowledgeable, helpful, honest and trustworthy car dealer (and we've been stung by some that aren't!). We have already recommended him to friends and would definitely buy from him again.

Bought a kia sportage off Phil Foster 4x4 back in November 2017 for £3100 cash. Seemed genuine at the time but within a few weeks of purchasing the vehicle had to give it back dye to a fault. Thankfully it was under warranty on that occasion. Within a few more weeks other faults were detected and the vehicle wouldn't start so once again Mr Foster had it back. 10 weeks later I eventually went to pick it up ( had to constantly pester) and paid just under £1000 to then be told the clutch was slipping badly. Decided to let Mr Foster change this for us but again took about another 10 weeks. At this point he had had the Kia on his drive more than I had. Had this 1 day and it broke down on us again, this time the alternator needed changing, Mr Foster changed this promptly and free which was a huge surprise. After having the Kia back we noticed that despite him charging us just under £1000 the initially problem was still not perfect. Running and with more power once the turbo kicked in the Kia was lagging bad. Once again he had it back and told me he had 2 chaps out from a garage in Bromyard for a diagnostic and they could find nothing which was strange. Every garage in Bromyard had no record of this and he refuses to give me names. Mr Foster thinks that he has been more than generous with us because he lent us a car the whole time, not important that he has has over £4,500 off me for a car that I've had to take elsewhere for a diagnostic. This came back straight away that it has a faulty air flow meter that needs replacing. This man is a Liar and is only interested in shifting vehicles off his land and making money from people like us.

Unfortunately we have obtained a vehicle from Phil Foster 4x4 that was not fit for the road despite being sold as one simple advisory on an 11 month MOT. We have spent a lot of money and lost days and days of work as the motor was not fit for driving. We asked for an honest description and was also refused any haggling on the advertised price as it was in such tip top condition. The exhaust has so many holes through it and power steering fluid has leaked out 3 times now after filling up. Unfortunately now have to take to a garage and spend yet more money and lose more work. In the meantime an email and request for expenses has been sent to the garage and copied to trading standards.

Phil Foster personally oversees the preparation and sale of all his cars, and his after sales service is equally as good! We have had our Isuzu now for 7 years, and it has been brilliant, surpassed only by the attention we've received from this dealer! I believe you can buy with confidence.
