Philip checked out a 450 Chimaera for me. All looked good on the dealer's website. Due to the distance, I couldn't have a look at it myself. Philip did a great job and produced a really comprehensive report. He was easy to work with, knowledgeable and very helpful. I didn't proceed with the purchase based on his report. There were just too many things that needed to be addressed with the car and the dealer wouldn't take them into account in the price so I walked away. Philip saved me a lot of grief and money.

He went well beyond what i expected in further communication with both myself and the seller. His inspections represent excellent value and are highly recommended.

Jumping in to the slightly scary world of privately buying a 23 year old TVR.....a helpful dealer recommended Phillip as a knowledgeable guy to carry out a pre-purchase appraisal / inspection of a car I was interested in. I obviously wanted to be sure I wasn't about to buy myself a world of pain and expense. He was extremely quick responding to my initial enquiry and then equally speedy arranging the inspection with the vendor. Having undertaken a thorough inspection covering everything that needed checking (on a Bank Holiday !) he then called me immediately to talk me through his findings.....which was then followed by a written report that evening. Phillip spent plenty of time on the phone talking about the (minor) issues and even went as far as to tell me what he thought I should bid on the car. Bottom line......he gave me the necessary information....and confidence...to take the plunge. I would 100% recommend him to anybody in a similar situation, needing an expert independent assessment.
