I contacted Philip Phedonos as I am an overseas buyer, looking to purchase a TVR. Philips inspection was very thorough and clear and concise in his report. I contacted Philip to inspect two TVR’s located in Yorkshire as I am based on the south coast. From my first telephone call you could tell that Phil was an expert on these cars and was more than happy to discuss my needs. Both inspection was extremely thorough and covered all the points of the car all supplemented with videos. Full written report was provided within 24 hours and gave me great confidence in purchasing the car sight unseen. Jumping in to the slightly scary world of privately buying a 23 year old TVR.....a helpful dealer recommended Phillip as a knowledgeable guy to carry out a pre-purchase appraisal / inspection of a car I was interested in. I obviously wanted to be sure I wasn't about to buy myself a world of pain and expense. He was extremely quick responding to my initial enquiry and then equally speedy arranging the inspection with the vendor. Having undertaken a thorough inspection covering everything that needed checking (on a Bank Holiday !) he then called me immediately to talk me through his findings.....which was then followed by a written report that evening. Phillip spent plenty of time on the phone talking about the (minor) issues and even went as far as to tell me what he thought I should bid on the car. Bottom line......he gave me the necessary information....and confidence...to take the plunge. I would 100% recommend him to anybody in a similar situation, needing an expert independent assessment.

Phil offers a great personal and professional pre-purchase reviews of specialist sports cars, his knowledge is second to none and I wouldn’t purchase a classic British Sportscar without his approval. With the simple aim of acquiring and excellent example of a classic marque. Unreserved recommendation for pre-purchase inspections.
