Saw a car and made it clear that we were looking at another car in the afternoon so would not be buying straight away as wanted to make sure we were making the correct decision. The younger salesman we saw was nice enough. Although he had a few sales tactics that I wasnt keen on (talking down other vehicles that he knew we were interested in, making out we would pay too much elsewhere etc) he wasnt pushy and he was just being a good salesman and doing his job. He was fine. BUT on the way out, we were approached by what we assume was the manager, very pushy, literally tried to trip me up and question my rationale at every given opportunity. Made up blatant lies about vehicle remapping resulting in the majority of cars quickly 'blowing up' to try and put me off looking at other vehicles. I loved the car and ended up buying the exact same vehicle with the exact same spec for a little MORE money as was so put off by the manner in which I was treated that I shopped elsewhere. I would avoid this place
Bought a 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS. Decent trade in price agreed, good communication, went way out of their way to meet me....I'm in central Scotland...they are in Southampton....so meeting late evening near Blackpool was more than fair. Had a small issue which was sorted very quickly with absolutely no problem. Very happy with the company and their attitude. I can Highly recommend these guys to buy a car from. Well done Phoenix cars!!
Couldn't recommend enough. Felt really apprehensive about going to look for a new car as I know the label that's put on the industry nowadays, however everyone here proved me wrong. Fantastic service from start to finish, didn't feel pushed or pressured at all. Austin in particular was so helpful, there when I needed any help/assistance but wasn't pushy like a few nearby dealers I've found. Thank you for making me feel at ease with the purchase of my new car, I've left a very happy lady!

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. So far in 10 months the vehicle I bought from Phoenix has needed a new clutch and dual mass flywheel, brake callipers, brake pads and has an ongoing issue with the MAF sensor. The MAF sensor has been changed twice yet there are still a number of lights on the dash. Spoke to Phoenix and was told they do not ‘run a charity’. They organised the clutch and flywheel work through a warranty policy I TOOK OUT. When I mentioned the MAF issue and the glow plug light being on I was told not to worry because ‘glow plugs aren’t expensive’. Clearly have no mechanical knowledge if they believe this as the glow plug light can mean a number of different things

Really disappointed today. I was told that worn break pads and discs were passable, even after taking the car I wanted to buy to a trusted mechanic from a national company who said they weren't. I was then told by Phoenix that the company he works for supplies poor quality parts and shouldn't be dealt with. I felt like my questions were constantly answered with long rambling responses including 'I had to understand what the car industry was like'. I have been working with the car industry for over 20 years in my day job so would like to think I have a reasonable idea. I would have bought the car in question with Phoenix's offer to replace the discs and pads but felt uncomfortable with the way the guys there made me feel and that if anything went wrong I wouldn't get any come-back. A real shame as their stock of cars is impressive. I just think that when you're spending a fair whack of your hard-earned cash on a quality motor you should expect better customer service. Only offering a three month warranty seems rather mean too, And I'm not sure why all Phoenix cars include a £149 'admin fee' either...

Purchased a Volvo XC90 a couple of weeks ago, the advert stated full heated leather seats & DVD player. As it’s summer I didn’t check the heated seats and only had a chance 5 days later. Then I discovered no heated seats & no DVD player! Been in contact and been given the run around. Refuse to accept that I want to reject the car under Consumer Law and now I am in the process of taking them to court. Having discussed this case with various lawyers, other car dealers and other people in the motor trade, they cannot believe that Phoenix will not refund my money after clearly mid-selling the car!......... Stay away!

I arranged an appt through sell car quickly but on attending the dealership were not expecting me. The salesman then spent minimum time looking at the vehicle and kept making suggestions that there was something wrong with the car. All paperwork was present and genuine. He then stated he would speak with owner and get back to me. He failed. Throughout this visit I felt like I'd stepped back in time to when dealers behaved like women knew nothing about cars. Seriously unimpressed with Phoenix Cars and a waste of my time and petrol.

Brought a Mini Cooper from Phoenix Cars, all they’ve done regarding the car is lied and swindled me after sales is a joke but already got your money dont go there beware.
