I needed to buy a new car at short notice after our previous car was written off in a crash (not our fault!) The Phoenix site was easy to search and response to telephone enquiries very helpful. When I visited I was impressed by the new premises on the outskirts of Winchester they had just moved into. An ideal location for test drives and to get a feel for a car as well. Friendly staff and a good supply of tea and coffee! The team were all extremely helpful and, although they made a hard bargain, I would expect nothing else. I bought a used Skoda Superb estate and thought it was really good value. After I expressed concerns about the car's credit status they went out of their way to reassure me and resolve them to my satisfaction. When I went back to collect the car I was even picked up from Winchester station by one of the team and driven to the showroom. The car had been immaculately valeted when I picked it up. Three months on the car is perfect and we have just returned from a 1000 mile road-trip in France with it. I would definitely go back to Phoenix in the future.

I purchased an audi a4 s line 2007 for £7925 plus a three year warranty for a further £985 When i purchased this vehicle i was told i also have a dealers warranty for three months from the purchase date for peice of mind. I went to Nation Wide auto centre in Winchester for new front tires to be fitted as the ones i had when i purchased the vehicle were slowly deflating. The found that the two front alloys were corroded within the inside rim making the tires leek. I was informed that i should have them repaired asap as trying to fit any tire would also leek air. I got in touch with Phonix in Durley and was told by the guy (Dave) that sold me this that it was not his or the companies responsability to repair or change the wheels as they are not part of the car despite i have the three months warranty obliged by law. I have reported this to Trading Standards and was advised to persue the repair as they are obliged to do this within a reasonable time period. If anyone is thinking of buying a vehicle from this company please think again. I have always thought that the wheels that came with the vehicle was part of the car.
