I was looking for a mobility car dealership in my area so I did a google search and found Pickering Motor Company. I ended up purchasing a VW Caddy from them and I am so happy with it. I have had it since May and I have had no issues with it at all! It was clean, exactly as described and drives beautifully. I couldn’t be happier with my Citroen MPV from Pickering Motor Company. I purchased it in May and it has been absolutely superb! It was in immaculate, nearly new condition when I received and I have had no issues with it so far! Andy is great, friendly and trusting. So you find your dream vehicle, you have been saving up for years and although it's second hand it's just what you want but! The company is 300 miles away and your caring duty's won't allow you to travel. You know it will sell if you blink so you need to act quickly but you have never heard of the company and you can't pay by credit card oh and don't forget you haven't even driven the car! Well worry not. The trepidacious buyer I have described is me. Andy at Pickering motors is a bit like a tin of Ronseal varnish. He does exactly what he say's he's going to do and no question is silly or too much trouble. He doesn't sell the vehicles in some clever patter because the description say's it all. What he does do is realise that second hand cars bought at a distance will always have some weird or unprovoked problem occur during or after the sale date so his company will attempt to fix them in any way they can and he even give a 12 month warranty. 12 months! That's a commitment to his vehicles which says he wants you to be happy, that he wants you to come back and buy again from him, that he want's you to recommend his company. I bought from him, will probably never meet him, will recommend his company and that's why I have written this review so you can buy in confidence too. Ray Brown Westcliff on sea.

Have just purchased two vehicles for use by the hospice. Both were delivered quickly and had undergone excellent pre delivery preparation. Andy was helpful and dealt with any minor issues and questions promptly. Would highly recommend Pickering Motors to anyone looking for an adapted vehicle at sensible prices and decent warranty.

My wife and I have both had time to review the Peugeot Horizon. We both feel that the vehicle choice was excellent because it met all of my grandsons needs and is also a very good family car. We were both extremely happy with the one Pickering Motor Company provided. Buying a high priced item without seeing it is very worrying. However the vehicle was exactly as described and we were both very pleased with our purchase. In summary the Service provided Excellent and I can honestly say that I would highly recommend Pickering Motor Company.

We purchased a wheelchair accessible vehicle from Pickering Motor Company on 5/5/2017. As we are located in Fife in Scotland and needed the vehicle A.S.A,P we chose not to go and view the vehicle , instead opting to take the word of the dealer as to the state of the vehicle. We agreed that the vehicle would arrive on Sunday the 7/05/2017 via their transporter. As agreed, the vehicle arrived on Sunday and was in the exact condition that we were told it was going to be. We were a little apprehensive in not viewing the vehicle before purchasing it , however we are more than happy with it.

Recently purchased a large wheelchair area Caddy (20 months old) via the internet from Pickering Motor Company. Unfortunately due to our geographical position and difficulty in actually viewing vehicle (I live in Norfolk), was reliant on Pickerings to be honest regarding condition. When questioned Pickerings staff assured me vehicle was in A1 condition with no major scratch damage and that the alloy wheels were good. On receipt of vehicle I found that there were major scratch across a large area of the roof (some down to the metal) and all the wheels had been curbed in several areas. I have had the damage costed to repair which will be around £350 -£400. In addition to this, the roof upholstery is stained in several places and the rear seat upholstery is torn. The vehicle had 38000 + miles which is fairly high mileage for a disabled registered vehicle of that age and it certainly shows. While I accept it is my fault for not viewing the vehicle prior to purchase and what is, is! However, the least I would expect from a WAV supplier is total honesty, which I feel I did not get in this case! As a result I would advise future customers of this dealership to view their proposed purchase before buying and be very wary of their claims.

I would like to point we would NEVER describe a vehicle as being in A1 condition, as we only sell second hand vehicles which will always have minor signs of use. We provide full colour photographs on our website, so customers know exactly what they are buying too. This customer was offered a full refund but declined!! Unfortunately you can clearly not please everyone, as this customer wanted a brand new vehicle out of the box for a second hand price.
