Paul was good to deal with and agreed to hold (with deposit) the car for us as we come from across. I called him numerous times with questions and he was always very helpful. When collection day came the car was all set waiting for us albeit Paul was a little distracted cleaning another car most of the time we were there. This was the first time we'd bought a car in the UK so thought a little more organisation with paper work etc would of been better service rather than it all just done outside in the car forecourt. We love the car and very happy with it all in all I'd recommend Paul at PJC cars.

very fast and efficient turnaround, they stayed open late for me to pick up the car which was incredibly helpful and saved me having to be off the road any longer. I would highly recommend P J C to anybody.

The 51000 mile 57 plate Jaguar XK was immaculate when I picked it up BUT both the keys had flat batteries and I was told that it was easy to get new ones. That was NOT good. The car's handbook was not there but PJC sent it on the next day. The car was supposed to have been serviced before I collected it. After 1000 miles, the brakes made an awful noise. The pads - which had been fitted new before I collected the car - were written off as all the discs were so worn that the pads had been damaged as they hit the ridges on the discs. Full replacement made the car a lot ore expensive than before. PJC couldn't have cared less when I contacted him. Then it turned out that the wrong grease had been used between the brake pistons and the pads. More than that, the coolant in the engine was below the minimum level and there was no leak. It is clear that the servicing had been badly done, if it had been done at all.

The jag xk as listed above was purchased in December 2014 and collected in January 2015, due to the owner having a garage built. We offered from the day of inspection to Refurbish all 4 wheels and balance Repair a couple of minor paint scratches Lubrication service including all levels checked Supply the car with a full mot Store the car inside 3 months warranty Fully valeted The car passed the mot, but as the pads were getting low I replaced them as a gesture of goodwill, even tho they were safe. The discs were inspected and passed the mot. The car was offered with a 3 month warranty and never needed any work Brake discs are a ware item and will suffer from corrosion if they are not dry when keeping in a garage. Always drive a car after washing to dry brakes before keeping inside or the water will cause rusting. As per the owners hand book all levels should be checked on a weekly basis The customer only made contact after he had paid to have the brakes peplaced some 6 months later, at a cost he claims to be around £900, I later priced them up and this was a massive overcharge on what I would be charged.
