I post this review more as a warning to others of my unfortunate experience with Mr Paul Keighley, the owner of this garage. Mr Keighley wrote to me after a very poor experience with a vehicle his garage had advertised on Autotrader. The car broke down on a test drive after Mr Keighley had assured me before my 4 hour journey to Newcastle, that it had no faults and was sound mechanically. My total out of pocket travel expenses are £110 which Mr Keighley suggested he would settle, asking for my bank account details and travel receipts which I gave him. As I never heard from Mr Keighley again and he blanked my calls and texts, I remain £110 out of pocket and badly burnt from the unpleasant experience. Mr Keighley has made me think that he is dishonest in his dealings and this has been a most stressful and unpleasant experience. I really hope it doesn’t happen to you.

Mr Paul Keighley, the owner of the garage has asked what car I am referring to. I believe he is well aware of the car because it was advertised by his garage on Autotrader. Perhaps Mr Keighley will tell me why his text asked for my bank account ,number, sort code and travel receipts if he was never going to repay my expenses? I am happy to publish his text on here shortly as proof. Also, I understand that Autotrader are concerned with the way this car was advertised on their site and they may also have concerns about the validity of the many reviewers on Autotrader - are they genuine or invented? My experience with Mr Keighley has been unpleasant because he implied that he would refund my expenses in his text and has not kept his word. Avoid.

hi I am a possible customer and was wondering what car broke down as i am planning on a long trip to view a car. can you say the make and what the breakdown was as I don't want a long trip if the car has known faults, sorry but my name is Paul. just in case my first note was assumed to be the owner. thanks for your info in advance
