nice vans here and nice people, lads helped me out and sorted me a van for work, tidy ting and runs well

bought a vauxhall combo van from platinum vans last month and paid £4000 for it a few days later the van wasnt working properly, had it checked it had a lot of hidden faults with it the injectors leaking etc and quoted £2000 for repairs to the vehicle ...... I cannot use the van for work which is why it was bought in the first place and losing money, so called the garage up and just got a lot of abuse from the owners i went back to the garage and sat there for 3 hours and had my 3 old with me and they just started swearing at me and my son shouting and making personal and vulgar comments towards us also started to square up to me... very professional so have now managed to get their home address and sent them a court summons.... AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN VERY GOOD AT TAKING YOUR MONEY AND ZERO AFTER SALES HELP.if you want to give them your money and get a great deal of verbal abuse then this is the place !!! please check out other comments on various forums on the web before you buy. they change their company names every 6 months or so and use ' dud ' com-any names to get out of any issues with vehicles from customers PLATINUM VAN SALES PLATINUM VANS OF LEICESTER MR VEHICLES TONYS CAR SALES CAPITAL COMMERCIALS check them all out.

When buying this Vw caddy van the owners of Platinum Vans were very friendly, on the way home back to Sheffield the van started making a rumbling noise, me thinking it was the tyres I went and had it checked, it seems the engine and gearbox mountings have failed allowing the engine to move quite drastically side to side. I phoned them to let them know under my 3 month warranty and all I got was verbal abuse from the old man owner and the phone slammed down, he’s now blocked my number!! Do not buy from these people as you won’t get any help after the sale and the warranty isn’t worth the paper it was written on!!👎👎👎

Very happy. I was worried about previous statements. Had minor faults with the Van. But when I asked to do a full diagnostic check on the van ,they said no problem, Engine was cold ,nothing....test drive, no faults. All paper work in order. 60 mile run ..No problem, 3 month warranty stamped and signed although only on the invoice signed and stamped for gearbox and engine..Did not get offered a cup of tea...So must be a shady company, :) But got a free airfresher .....on a whole ,very happy. Lets see if its keeps going ,would I recommend Yes, value for Money Yes ,Faults ...Keys a bit Dodgy ,headlight gone ....but ....for the the Price :)...What see is what you get. Defo worth a look ....got some great vans in.

Trading standards will be informed! Nothing but hassle and worry when I brought my corsa two days ago! Won’t fix the broken car they sold me and now swearing at me!!!!!! Out of pocket! With a corsa that won’t run!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE! Also trading under toneys van sales,capital van sales,platinum van sales!
