I have a service plan which is no longer available and will have to pay again for my car services they owe me money back very annoying and so angry.
I had a recall on my motorhome March 2018. Platts did the warranty work involving a non conforming exhaust gas recirculation pipe. In April 2018 I broke down on the M62 due to that pipe not having been fitted correctly. It could not be repaired without being returned on a low loader to Platts. They did repair it properly this time but had involved me in a day waiting around in a motorway service station plus hotel and various other costs due to Platts original incompetence. I tried to obtain reimbursement from them and Fiat - neither even had the courtesy to reply. I had to give up. The worst garage I have ever had the misfortune to have dealings with.
If ever a car dealer deserved to close, it's Platts Garage. The quality of service, capability of service personnel, and treatment of customers was worse than you would expect from a back street lock-up. The motor industry made a giant leap forward once these cowboys shut up shop. Good riddance.

Brought a used car from Platts Garage Stoke On Trent recently. What the salesman told me about the car was completely untrue on a number of points Platts management was not interested in resolving the problem even though I had e mail proof The car was returned 4 times in 3 months with problems Finally I decided to ask them to have it back as I had lost all faith in The vehicle After a lot of ums and ars they offered to buy it back for 60% less than I paid for it 3 months earlier if I brought another car from them I walked out in disgust and went to another garage who offered me a reasonable price I accept that if you buy a used car there is always a risk and I must accept that but the total lack of interest from Platts management is a disgrace I would never use them again

SNAP. Bought a car on 6/6/2018. Ended up in garage & needed £2500 to fix it as the 12 month warranty they gave us with the car wasn't worth the paper it was written on yes you've guessed it no reply to phone calls or emails just got the car back today but for how long who knows . Please please anyone who reads this DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. They should be shut down grrrr very angry customer. Wish I had read reviews before I wasted my time & money on them grrr.
My family and I have used Platts for all our servicing for 15 years now including my Motorhomes. They have always treated us very well, going above and beyond to help and delivering what I would call good old fashioned customer service-hard to find nowadays. Thanks Platts!!

I agree. my crossfire has been with them since mid Feb 2018, Totally useless customer service and now as of yesterday 24th July 2018 they rang to say that they have been sold ( to a used car dealer ship) and that I need to pay my bill even though the car is not fixed, lies after lies and now I will be suing them for not giving me the vehicle back in the state that it was dropped off. Disgusting behaviour
Platts Garage and its staff continually show how little it cares about the local community. Not only do they have middle of the night deliveries that wake everyone up but the staff cant even park in the garage where they have allocated parking spaces, they decide to park in spaces outside residential houses stopping the residents being able to park outside their own houses. There are spaces literally right outside the garage too that they could park in but they chose to be very selfish. This has been raised with the garage but the staff continue to park where ever they like. I wonder how much they care about their customers when they care so little about the community they reisde in.
If you are looking for a new car definitely DO NOT go to Platts Garage Longton. After nearly 3 months of been an Alfa Romeo owner with a car purchased from them, the car has had to go back. I did have some major breakdowns including the turbo blowing up but one of the main reasons for returning the car is the ABYSMAL SERVICE that I received both before and after the purchase from Platts Garage Longton. Once they have your money they clearly don’t care about you and would do anything to avoid helping you out. Here are just some of the problems that I have had: Before buying the car Jim, the sales man, advised there was some minor issues (outside temperate showing incorrect and the car revs hunting) that would be fixed for when I picked the car up a week later. It took 6 weeks after picking the car up and a lot of hassle to get them fixed. There was also some paint work issues that Jim, the sales man, didn’t even tell me about and upon discovering these was told initially that they could not be fixed but after 2 months I was told by Ray, the sales manager, that Jim, the sales man, told him that I agreed I didn’t want them fixed. Jim, the sales man, also lied to me about the level of cover that I was going to get from Alfa assist stating that I would get full breakdown and courtesy car cover while the car is away from me for 1 year from purchase when in fact I was only covered for a courtesy car for 1 day as the car was then over 3 years old and was no longer eligible. After the 1 day I was only eligible for normal breakdown cover. Every time the car went in to be repaired the sales team and service team just blamed each other for the delay in getting the car fixed rather than actually trying to help and on one occasion they refused to give me a courtesy car while my car was in for repair for 5 days, telling me every day that it would be fixed the next day. Following my request to return the car Ray, the sales manager, told me I could do so for a full refund (I did get him to send an email to confirm this however he worded it very carefully) only to be told 2 days later by Dave, the general manager, that they would have to review this which can take up to 14 days and I would have to return the car to them while this review was on going. Eventually after extinguishing all consumer rights options and legal avenues I did manage to get most of my money back losing out on £500. It was definitely not worth the hassle and I would not advise anyone to go there in the future.

I've used this dealership for my last 3 new fiats and always returned for servicing and accessories, but was astounded this time round by the level of sheer lying involved by the salesman I dealt with. Basically they didn't secure my new car and it was sold to another dealership, which led to 4 weeks of them trying to avoid me while they searched for a new vehicle. When a solution was eventually agreed as a 'sorry' I was offered some minor things like a set of mats, discount on a boot liner, and some paint protection system, all of which would have cost Platts next to nothing but would have satisfied by anger to that point. They even screwed me out of these as the mats I was 'given' as a sorry I later discovered came as standard with the model anyway, the paint protection system was meant to come with a special pack of aftercare treatments, and I never received any discount email as promised. Nothing is ever written down with Platts, they rarely phone you back when they promise to, prepare to get increasingly frustrated at the miserable secretary that shows no interest in your problems, all in all a horrible, confusing, time wasting, frustrating, angry, stressful experience, I've even written then a lengthy email complaint that they couldn't be bothered to even respond to. Please DO NOT USE Platts garage. And for some reason you do, please please demand every slight detail is put into writing as they simply lie !

5 weeks waiting for a spare key from Platts Garage. Nobody is interested once the sale has gone through.False promises to return calls.would suggest anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to look elsewhere.
