Very bad service , they had my car 3 times and they can’t find the fault , told them what could be and ignored , took it to main dealer , problem sorted same day and no more issues occurred after .
I wish I had seen the negative reviews on this site and Trustpilot before I bought a car from this dealership. It seems my experience is not unique. Good pre-sales service but woe betide if you subsequently have problems with your purchase. Six weeks after buying a car I had a problem with it and had to be recovered -twice. To cut a long, sorry, story short I was given the option of keeping the car (with its intermittent problem) or I was offered the trade price of the car - almost half of what I had paid only six weeks previously - and they would not budge on that offer. I had no confidence in the car and my conscious wouldn't allow me to sell it on so I felt the only option was to accept that paltry offer. Already feeling shafted imagine how I felt when that same car went back up for sale and appeared on their website, and for only £200 less than I had originally paid for it, not six hours later! I felt angry enough to write to the Director personally but was surprised to get a call from the original salesman (the Director is not, apparently, 'customer facing'!) berating me for making a complaint. He had nothing new to say to me apart from to tell me how 'aggrieved' he was that I had complained. Poor chap - but he's not nearly £2,500 out of pocket! Avoid this Dealership at all costs!!

Excellent customer service, you are free to browse without being pestered. The cars are all priced to monthly costs so it is easy to see what you can afford. I found the buying process with Josh easy and hassle free. They even delivered the car for me once it had a new mot on it. All staff are friendly and helpful including the garage staff. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Please do not go to this dealership. In January 2022 Plympton Car Centre sold me a Toyota Aygo for £6,300 with multiple faults: A significant water leak which means that every time it rains the passenger side of the car floods, a faulty clutch which overheats intermittently when I drive, and additional ‘minor’ faults such as broken air conditioning. I’ve brought the car in for the water leak three times and it is still not fixed, and twice for the clutch. The first time I was told there was no issue with the clutch, and less than a month later I broke down on the motorway due to the clutch overheating. After being told by the sales manager, Neil that I would get a refund due to the issues described, he suddenly left the company. I was told he was let go for lying to his customers. How convenient. I was then told AGAIN that there was no issue with the clutch, and that i was probably just “riding the clutch”. Funny I didn’t know you could “ride a clutch” in an automatic car. It wasn’t until leaving a review on Facebook that the issue was suddenly discovered. I was then refused a refund and begged by the owner, Stewart, for one more opportunity to fix the faults (replace the clutch and fix the leak). According to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I am within my rights to have a refund on this vehicle due to the ongoing faults and failure of the MOT centre to rectify the fault. It is clear to me that the car was sold to me with faults that were not disclosed and were covered up. The faults are STILL present despite multiple opportunities for the dealership MOT centre to fix them. This dealership DOES NOT honour the Consumer Rights Act 2015. PLEASE do not buy a car here, save your money and get something decent elsewhere. I’m now in the process of taking legal action to prevent others from being scammed here, please save yourself the headache.

just nowNEW Prompt and attentive BEFORE completing the sale. Once purchased aftersales is non-existent. Car alarm goes off for no reason at all hours of the day and night, bonnet open warning comes up randomly and despite 2 garages confirming there is an issue with the Clutch, PCC aren't interested because it'd cost them. Very very poor.

Do not use this garage !!!! I purchased a car (from a distance) and when it arranged I noticed there was some damage to the door. I could see that they had tried to cover it up but when confronted they initially denied it. They was dishonest, rude and it cost me £300 for them to take the damaged car back. Customer service was terrible, they tried to tell me that the car door needed tightening when in fact when I took it to see how much it would cost to repair, I was told the damage was extensive and that it would cost me between £900 and £1300 to put right. They denied any knowledge of the damage initially as it was not noted on any check however when looked at by specialists they pointed out that the car had very recently been sprayed and there was still evidence of tape around the door. Only then did they say they MIGHT of resprayed it. But they stated they did not have any record of this. I was told by a specialist the door safety bar had been comprised and the whole reason for the car purchase was for safety for us as we are planning a child. The manager was very awkward and did everything he could to make things difficult for us. We part exchanged our old car, when we asked for a refund they told us they had already sold our car which was not a problem, however a couple of days later they then told us that they had gone and got our car back (we did not ask for them to do this) and then stated we would then have to pay to return our car. Plus pay for the return of the car we purchased. They eventually returned our money a couple of weeks later Minus £300 for them to collect the damaged vehicle. Plus mileage put on the car (some which was spent going to garages as requested by them to see the cost of repair). I have sent them a letter as per instructed by a legal team and I am still not to hear anything back. I have never been so disappointed and disrespected in all my life.

Well done Plympton Car Centre. The long haired general is extremely happy, so of she is then I am. You excelled in your customer service to have, even though minor, issues sorted in a very fast turn around. Communication was excellent, vehicle is excellent all done seamlessly which in the current climate is no mean feat. Very happy all round.
I have just bought an amazing car from Bailey at PCC nothing was to much trouble, he went above and beyond!
