Literally never experienced such a bad customer service as I did at Reed Autos. My mistake was that i had finance in place with documentation completed, all i needed was a test drive. And from that point they did not seem interested, I was calling and chasing to book a test drive. My sales manager was very rude and expected me to fit his schedule, as he was to busy to show me the car within the first week of arranging all paperwork. Avoid!!! very unpleaseant experience, needless to say i have went to another dealer..

We sell over 100 cars per month which wouldn't be possible if we were to turn customers away to fit our schedule, we look to work around customer's schedule's as an absolute necessity. It's also uncommon you would have had direct contact with the sales manager to fit his schedule as appose to one of our five sales executives who would have taken you through our whole car buying process, which is why this review arouses suspicion. Reed autos were friendly and helpful from the second I arrived on site. Their prices are very fair and the sales team were extremely accommodating - they seemed to genuinely know a lot about the cars and pricing. They did amazing body work on my car after I had an accident and I would definitely use them again.

From walking in the door, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Very polite and friendly bunch of people. The car they showed me was ready to drive away and they even sorted all my finance out. 10/10 would recommend them.

This is the second car I have purchased from Reed Autos and same great service. The sales team were polite and courteous, obviously knew a lot about cars including my part exchange vehicle. they made the transaction pleasant by being personable and genuinely taking an interest in myself as a client rather than just a production line. Will us them again.

First impressions were that Reed Autos met the claims on their website in regards to being customer focused. Once money had changed hands and we had driven the vehicle off of the forecourt, we found out to our detriment this was not the case. We had an issue with the VW we purchased, which we hoped could have been resolved amicably but their Sales Manager just gave us the run around and then offered no solution. If your looking for a used vehicle I would not recommend spending your money here.

If I could give Reeds Autos zero stars then I would! Back in January I travelled from Devon to purchase a Smart Fortwo from Reed Autos. I had seen the car advertised on Auto Trader and in the photos it looked ok. However, I guess that alarm bells should have started ringing early on. The salesperson was very inexperienced and had only been with them for a week. He kept having to ‘pop out’ and find answers to my questions. First impressions of the car seemed ok but the light was fading and I had travelled a long way by train and bus. I acted in haste and bought the car. It drove ok back to Devon but the following day when I gave it a more thorough check over I discovered that it was in pretty poor condition. The bodywork had been wrapped in grey (it was originally white which was showing through in places) but I hadn’t been told this. There was no user handbook or tyre repair kit. This is important as the car doesn’t have a spare. If I’d had a flat on my journey back to Devon... at night I’d have been in big trouble! Also the alloy wheels were in poor condition and parts of the interior were shabby. The final straw was when the engine management light came on. I had bought warranty as none was included at point of sale. So I took the car to my local Bosch centre as advised by Reed Auto. The diagnosis was a camshaft problem. After numerous emails and phone calls at my time and expense I said that as it was still within 30 days I had the right to and I wanted to reject the car. Reed weren’t interested and simply referred me to a legal department. After a further period of time getting nowhere as soon as the V5 arrived I sold the car through ‘We Buy Any Car.com’. I lost a considerable amount of money but I just wanted it gone.
In conclusion, I wouldn’t recommend buying any car from Reed Auto. I got my fingers burned. Once they have sold you a car they aren’t interested. The cars aren’t even cheap either! My experience has been deeply disappointing. :-(

As you know, each and every person has to start their career ladder somewhere, so we do apologise if our Sales Executive was not able to answer each and every question you may have had. Although you did not have a tyre repair kit in the vehicle, we offer our guests 12 Months AA Breakdown cover when they buy a car from us, so therefore a quick call to them would’ve been great. Before we sell our cars, they are taken through our Professional Workshop and Bodyshop, where our Bosch Trained Technicians ensure the vehicle has no bodywork or mechanical issues. When buying a vehicle from Reed Autos, every customer is offered a 1 Month Complimentary Warranty, as well as the option to upgrade it to 6, 12 and 24 Months. Our cars are also priced very effectively and almost always come up as a ‘Great Deal’ online! However, every business always has room to improve, so therefore we really value your feedback and will make improvements where necessary! - Reed Autos

5 Star experience with Reed Autos! I bought a BMW a few months back and it was a brilliant price taking into account the age and condition of the car. The dealers were very helpful and knew their stuff. They were very impressive and I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

No complaints at all everything was spot on. I bought a Citeron C4 in may and up to now everything has been good other than one small issue that was resolved immediately by the dealership with no trouble. I would happily recommend Reed Autos.
