My wife and I were passing Pontardawe car sales on the way to the local pub and after visiting some local large not so professional car showrooms we saw a Renault Captur on the forecourt which we both liked. I called down last week and met Craig and Jacob who used to visit a local pub I ran with my wife with their parents and grandparents when they were a lot younger, I knew that Craig had taken over the company from his father Mike and was very impressed with himself and nephew Jacob with their professional knowledge of the motor industry. It didn’t take me long to decide to buy the car that I fancied especially when Craig mentioned that he could part exchange my car for it, he gave me a very r favourable price for it and we did a deal that afternoon. Jacob did all the paperwork for the sale and exchange but because it was getting late in the afternoon, Craig said that they would drop the new car off at my house the following day and then took my old car away, I was very happy to receive a txt from Craig that day to tell me that he was going to fit a new Timing belt and water pump even though it was around 30K miles short of the recommended mileage for a new belt and was going to put a new MOT on it all at his expense. It’s very comforting to know that local people are not like some of the other car salesmen are not pushy and hassle you just for a commission based sale.
