Be very careful - I would not touch this place with a barge pole. I purchased an Audi S5 from a "friend" in 2014. He had lots of problems with it and thought I could fix them. In the end, I realised what a dog the car was. It needed a new (or refurbished) gearbox, there was a coolant leak, the MMI system kept resetting itself and converting to left hand drive. The aircon compressor was broken and there was an oil leak from the rear of the engine. I sold it at auction with all of the faults listed for £10,000. It is now for sale on Prestige Auto Lounge Website for £14,990!!!
THIS PLACE NEEDS CLOSING DOWN!!! Bought a car from here and all the faults began to unfold within moments of leaving the dealer. Car some how passed an MOT prior to sale; god knows how! The sales staff their are useless, and the aftersales team are just as bad. Getting issues sorted from this dealer is a long and painful process. My advise, read all the reviews before throwing your money away. Better off burning your money than wasting it at this god awful place.
Gear box blew up, turbo faults , and they damaged my car and refused to pay for any repairs or damage ! I have done less than 1000 miles and sold it as scrap 4 month after parting with neally £3k to these people keep your money
Stay away!! Brought a ford Galaxy at the end of May from this garage what a complete mistake that was , I would advise you not to go there as they completely mug you off! We had a mechanic look over it as when we got it as we wanted a full service as the service history was being sent out within 14 days which the sales man wrote down too, but we still haven't received this! The mechanic said the car looked as if it had a scrap engine in it and he said the car is barely legal and should be returned (after 6 days of having it) Prestige Auto Lounge said we had no evidence so then we had to pay £180 for the AA to have a look over the car which he said again it's barely legal and never should of gone through the mot he quoted over £2000 for repairs that are needed now. So we emailed the after sales department with the AA report attached but a young girl called us back saying the manager wanted to engine number like my husband said you've sold us a car which isn't safe and we want a refund under the 30 day guarantee but they still declined. The manager is always on holiday and when he finally decides to answer he is very rude, It should be us being rude not them he put the phone down on us 3 times before he finally answered. It also failed the MOT but two weeks later they've passed it with out doing the work. Please do not buy off of these as we are still fighting to get our refund with three children under 5 we hope this happens sooner rather than later as we need a car! We are waiting for trading standards to call us back but the company don't seem to care the sooner they shut down the better!!!!!! Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!!
Absolutely disgusting service from there after sales team. I bought a landrover discovery from them with apparent AA Service and AA Warranty some 2 months later the car has been in the garage 3 times and they have no interest whatsoever it has broken down again and yet again they fob me off. I would not recommend this backstreet outfit posing as a high class car specialist.
STAY WELL AWAY!!! Purchased a BMW worth £15,000 from prestige. But some how I have been driving rubbish curtassy cars that overheated and another that went into lim mode!! Then being told to hire my own curtassy car. Had enough of these people, never call back when they say they will never solve problems and just pass you over to someone els. DO NOT BUY!!!
I thank my lucky stars I did not sign on 3 attempts at buying a car from this used car lot. 1) BMW 525i had a loud knocking sound from engine. They acted as if they were hearing it for the first time when I highlighted it to them. They said would take the car to the garage. 3 weeks later I got a call that the car was ready. By that time I had got another car elsewhere. 2) BMW 330i the car was very underpowered the trim was loose and made annoying squeaks and rattles on rough surfaces. 3) BMW 525d fuel fumes filled the cabin on a short test drive. They said they would fix it if I wanted it. I said no and walked away again. Moral of the story: walk away at the slightest hint of a problem with these guys.
NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! Unfortunately we purchased an Audi TT from Prestige Auto Lounge in April and it was the biggest mistake. When we test drove the car the front tyre was flat, when we pointed out that there was a nail in the tyre they first tried to say they could not see it, then when I pointed it out the manager sent it away to be changed. It later transpired that the replacement tyre had an advisor on it. It was also noted on the MOT from March that the tyre had a nail in it but they had done nothing about it. Also on the MOT it stated an oil leak. We were assured by the sales man Joseph that this had been rectified - it later transpired that they had not done anything about this either. We purchased the car and the following day the tyre pressure warning light came on. I called and was told to pump the tyres up and the light would go out. Well, of course it didn't go out because the codes need to be reset. After leaving 3 ,messages that day for Joseph to call me back, no call received. The following day my partner took the car to an Audi dealer and they kindly showed him how to reset the codes. The following day the engine management light came on. Prestige after sales department now got involved and told us to take the car in and they would get it looked at. We took it back on the Wednesday and they took it to a local garage round the corner where the mechanic said the lambda sensors needed replacing. This took until Friday night, my partner went to fetch it on Saturday morning and the light was still on. The mechanic frantically tried to clear the codes before he finally admitted he had done the wiring wrong and said he would correct it. They delivered the car back to us on the Saturday afternoon. On Sunday the light came on again and Prestige reluctantly agreed that the mechanic they used was not to have the car back and we insisted it was taken to an Audi dealer. We were told that they never take cars to a dealer and they never pay for diagnostic testing. After many calls backwards and forwards they agreed we could take it to Audi and that they would pay for the diagnostics. We could not get the car booked in for another week and had been advised by Audi not to drive the car in the meantime as further damage could be done. My partner was without a car for all this time until 1 week after chasing and chasing the after sales team they agreed to deliver a courtesy car. This was a 2002 Vauxhall Corsa which does not look like it's roadworthy and my partner refused to drive it and it has therefore sat on our driveway for the past 3 weeks. When Audi ran the diagnostic testing we were not at all surprised to be told that there were 3 main issues with the car with one of those deeming the car 'dangerous' and another stating there was evidence of an oil leak ( the very same one that we had been told was fixed). Audi also advised us of the advisories on the tyres and I have a copy of the diagnostic report in my possession as proof. Well clearly by this point Prestige Auto lounge then decided that they did not trust Audi because the cost of the repairs would be £1500+, and said they wanted to have the car taken to Audi in Coventry. When I asked why and what difference that would make they told me that they have a relationship with Coventry and not with Leicester where we has taken it and therefore they did not trust that what they had said was right. This was after they had told me they never use a dealer but now all of a sudden they have a relationship with them! At this point we had had enough of their deceit, delaying tactics and their total lack of customer service or customer care and we told them we wanted a refund and they could have their car back. This took a further week to happen. That was after me chasing and chasing and them promising me it would be done and even asking me to check the bank account to see whether the payment was in. Unfortunately for them though I called one evening and spoke to a different member of staff who informed me the refund had not been done that day as their was not enough money to do it. Exactly 1 week after I had said we wanted a refund the money appeared in the account and they collected the car from Audi. We are now another week further forward and they still have not collected their so-called courtesy car - it's still sitting on our drive The car has now been re-advertised on their website, it's a silver Audi TT 2007 and I doubt the repairs have been done so if you are tempted to buy this car I would advise - DO NOT I would never recommend this garage to anyone, they do not reply to emails, you can never get past the receptionist if you request to speak to someone inparticular. The after sales staff I spoke with are Merit and Gupi who was a senior assistant and part of the legal team. I asked 4 times to speak to a manager but always got the excuse that they either did not have his mobile number, he wasn't in today, he doesn't speak to customers - excuse after excuse. I again chased up today when the car would be collected off my drive, Merit told me she's trying to find a driver and would get back to me - the same story I've been told for days now. In fact arrangements had been made twice and I inconvenienced myself to make sure I was home in time but no one turned up and no one bothered to call me to say why. Totally unprofessional and the cars are not good. Don't be fooled by the shiny black floor in the show room, or the expensive cars on display. Their lack of customer service says it all. If you have had the patience to read this review then many congratulations, you have approximately 1% of the patience you need to deal with this company. I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we have so my advice to you would be JUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

With alot of patience and perseverance! With our case though I don't think they had a choice as the lights were coming on from the day after we purchased the vehicle, and the car came with a 'so-called' 31 day warranty which actually counts for nothing. Be persistent and take the car back.
AVOID - The only reason I give this dealer one star is because I cant give it a ZERO - please, please do not be taken in by the cars you see on the website or at the dealer. The worst experience I have ever had left in tears and I can hold my own!!!. Im so thankful I walked away - reading these reviews I realise how lucky I am - AWFUL, DODGY.
DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING THESE !!! My son bought a car from here with hard earned cash. The day after it was bellowing out smoke, loud knocking on the front wheels, advisories on the MOT which they assured him had been fixed. He took it for a full inspection to find a long list of mechanical faults. He rang them straight away to get the problem sorted to be totally ignored and left on hold, this went on for days. He finally threatened them with trading standards surprise surprise he got a call telling him to take the car back. I followed him to bring him home but he made me wait outside as i wanted to rip their heads off. My son, his partner and my 6 month old grandson were travelling in a death trap and this made me so angry that they just didnt care. They told him the money would be in his account by the next day. Was it . . . Obviously not. He continued calling and emailing to be left holding again. He then said that he would go and wait in the showroom til it was. I am glad i didnt go in as i put potential customers off outside by explaining how my son and obviously others had been treated. It was a red audi A3. Think before using these cowboys and that is being polite. .
