I bought a BMW M3 convertible from Prestige Auto Lounge last year. We went to view it and noticed the mileage was different to what was on the auto trader advert, and the salesman said he had the paperwork which showed that the odometer has been changed (I believe that he would have never of mentioned it if I hadn't said anything.) Other than the mileage we really liked the car and decided to buy it. In the excitement we forgot to look through the paperwork to confirm the odometer change and carried on to buy it. A few days later when i was sorting the cars paperwork out, I noticed that the wasn't actually any paperwork mentioning an odometer change or anything to do with a change of mileage, and tried to contact them nearly every day - every time I was told the salesmen were busy and would call me back, this never happened. When I did speak to them I was told that their accountant had the paperwork I was missing and they would send it out to me. Around a month later I still hadn't recieved anything so I decided to make a complaint with the finance company Close Brothers who I had taken finance out with, and they told me that the trader does not have to have any paperwork to prove a odometer change and told me that my complaint was not upheld - and I found that everytime I would call up and tell them any different (after a lot of my own research), they would always side with the garage. Around 3 months after I had the car the garage gave me two fake invoices to try and shut me up - both which had incorrect information on so were worthless anyway. At this point I went to the financial ombudsman who investigated and confirmed that I was mis-sold the car and made agreements with the finance company to end my finance agreement and for the car to go back to Prestige Autos and for them to give me my deposit back. The garage wanted me to drive the car 50 miles back to them and said they would not be picking it up, it was only after complaining to Close Brothers they themselves arranged for the car to be picked up and said themselves that Prestige Autos were useless! I have since noticed they have put this car back up for sale with the same incorrect mileage (just with 5000 miles added for what i put on the car) and also for the same price (which has now been lowered from £9990 to £8990 - they are obviously struggling to re-sell this car.) AVOID this company and AVOID a blue BMW M3 convertible they are currently selling and any other cars they sell, who knows how many more will be dodgy!

Thank you for sharing this review. I was just thinking of buying this M3 Convertible and started to read reviews about this garage and found yours above, thank god I did. You have saved me my money. Thank you again
Phoned them went to see the car almost hour later and been shown a pile of rubbish Picasso which was not the car i went to see, was a c4 they did know where the car was and turned out it was on loan to someone, while waitind checked reviews and as you can guess they are not that good. Promised to phone me when it was back so six days later can only assume they had not fixed the other customers car as no phone calls all i can say thanks Prestige Auto Lounge Coventry for wasting my blooming time, possibly had a lucky escape reading your reviews got one from the car company Leamington spa. People look at places reviews before buying a motor.
Like many of you, I'd read the reviews on here but largely ignored them. I thought I'd give Prestige Auto a chance...but how wrong I was. I'd reserved to test drive a car I'd seen on Autotrader on the Thursday (paid a deposit). The car was quite nice...few scratches and dinks in the bodywork which hadn't been highlighted in its description or in photos. It was described as being "Excellent" but it was far from that. On the plus side, it drove very well and after negotiating a price with Richard one of the sales guys (nice fella), extra deposit was taken and we shook hands on the deal. This was Saturday lunchtime. We drove back to Birmingham knowing that I'd be picking up the car later that week. By Saturday evening however, they phoned to say the car had been sold to someone else! I couldn't believe their lack of professionalism. When I asked why and how this had happened, I was told it was 'company policy'. Think about that for a second: We'd shaken hands on a deal, they had my money, I'd wasted fuel in getting there and 3 hours of my life that I'll never get back. To them, that doesn't matter. It's company policy to ignore all of that. I wasn't even offered a discretionary payment for my wasted time & journey. Needless to say I won't be going back. I was told by another dealer today that they'd forfeited our contract and that I had grounds to take them to a small claims court. But I won't give them that satisfaction. I won't be recommending them to anyone. Poor customer feedback (please read the other awful examples on here) will hurt them harder than me trying to convince a court they broke an agreement. Steer well clear of this company. There are more unfortunate cases on here so perhaps they did me a favour in backing out of the deal.
Hi I brought a car from these guys. I did have to wait when I got there as they were busy. I was offered a drink and they apologised for the wait. I found that they were really helpful and I was happy with my purchase obviously I did not buy a brand new car and there were a few issues but that's expected from a used car and I was still happy with what I got for my money. I would recommend these guys to my friends and family.
Brought car for 11k told it had all checks . On the way back home problems started. Had car back for ten days to fix a long list of jobs which came up on the diagnostic which I paid for. Then a few later after having it more problems. Manager name is different each time. Trying to fob me off with refund. I've contacted trading standards all legal side . Also today had another diagnostic done and one fault still on there plus steering badly shaking and leaking. Mechanic said not road worthy. Waiting on call and refund. Don't bother going there save your money.
AVOID AVOID AVOID!! I'm a young mum of 2 babies & they happily sold me a complete pile of rubbish knowing full well my children would be travelling in the vehicle, the breaks are ready for the bin and the vehicle struggles to start every single morning, this started a week after I purchased the vehicle. But that's not even the best part After a few days of me driving the car the oil light came on so I purchased New oil & called them as it was under there 1 month warranty, they firstly said they would pay for the oil as it needed that to be drive back to them (ha...that never happened as they then fed me a load of rubbish about how they never said that & I must have been mistaken!) they then collected the car & spent a good week plus "checking the engine" then they returned it to me exactly the same as it was before claiming that there was nothing wrong with it (they knew full well that it would take a few weeks for the oil to run down again and that the warranty would have expired) 2 months later the oil light is back on and I'm stuck with the problem. Also after purchasing the vehicle I also discovered a big hole under the drivers mat which they had hidden by cutting out a piece of Carpet from another vehicle & sticking Inside to cover it up. I have emailed the company and guess what they decided to ignore me as they obviously don't care that they sold me a complete piece of rubbish! I will never be returning & if you have any sense you will read these honest reviews and stay well away from these horrible, deceiving people.

Have a look under the consumer rights. If it's not fit for purpose or unsafe your entitled to refund or discount even after 30days . I'm taking legal action against them.
I agree and disagree to some of the reviews on here but I had a completely different experience with this company. I bought one of their cheapest cars which was a Ford Mondeo for less than £2000 and I had no issue with my car. I was offered a small discount regardless of how cheap the car was. One of the reviews here mentions £1000 more on the forecourt, I was made to understand they added the warranties to the screen price but the screen price still remained fixed. I bought my car for the price online as I didn’t want the warranty so please be reasonable with your reviews and stop uttering absolute rubbish. On the negative side, they do need to work on being more sociable with customers but I do understand they are always very busy which makes it hard to satisfy every customers need. I will definitely recommend them to my friends.
I totally agree with most the reviews on here, don't be tricked by the expensive looking vehicles on the forecourt. I think I had a lucky escape and we didn't complete the sale. But so glad now after reading the reviews. The staff was very rude and arrogant. No personal interaction or social skills at all. Offered me the absolute minimum for my car which was less than cat d cars on auto trader and wasnt willing to knock anything off the car we was looking at even when paying cash. The car had fag burns in the seats, higher mileage than advertised, bald illegal tyres, condensation in the head lights and the switch where you turn the car lights on just fell back into the dash board when touched. Also we noticed that a few of the cars we were looking at on auto trader were marked £1000 more on the forecourt. All of which wasn't mentioned when we phoned to check all the details and book a test drive. When we arrived they didn't even know we was coming. It had a real unfriendly and unprofessional feel to the whole visit. They didn't say hello to my kids or even acknowledge them, it was really strange and quite intimidating. We were just given the keys and were told to find the vehicles and have a look our selfs. They didn't show us any paper work at all. My advice would be to stay away, don't waste your time or petrol.
I found what I thought was the perfect car on their website! Even though I read the bad reviews on here, I wanted to go see the car as the salesman and photos sold the car well! After travelling 2 hours to get there for a test drive, the "excellent condition" car wasn't ready and it had been keyed down the whole of one side and had a dent. When pointing this out to the salesman he said he didn't know it was there?! Also said most people do not care about things like that, and head office would rather not spend money on the cars! Looking at the condition of the other cars there and knowing that they'd lied I got my deposit back and left! Waste of time and expenses travelling and taking the day off work... Avoid!!!
I had the car less than five days before it broke down. Prestige Auto Lounge were incredibly uncooperative and unhelpful with the whole situation, and continually tried to manipulate me into a decreased refund. I've contacted the citizens advice bureau, and even still the company are trying to find ways to get around giving me my money back despite being well within my rights to claim. I slightly overpaid for the vehicle anyway, but initially loved it. After all the problems surfaced, Obie and Gupi had absolutely no interest in helping me. I was without a car and they couldn't care less.
