Bought a car from Prestige Motors Direct. Got home wouldn't start. rang the garage not helpful at all said I had to tow the car back to them at my cost and they would look at it. I tried to get a refund but they wouldn't refund after saying they would. Owner of the company is dishonest. I am now seeking legal advice to get my refund.

Please avoid Prestige Motors Direct. Put a deposit down for £100 which they advised it will be refundable which if i change my mind im fully refunded. This was done on the 16th january. 2days later i found a car which suited my needs so i gave prestige a call spoke to a Craig and i advised wanted my refund back. So he said thats fine. Can take upto 3-5 working days. So after 5 working days still not recieved my refund so i rang them again. They advised again it has been done and can take another 3-5 working days so i waited and still after the 5 working days i still not received. I was really upset so i rang and receptionist picked up. I asked for Craig but he was not there so i left my number and they promise you will get a ring back. After waiting for days still no ring back. 3 times on 3 days i kept ringing and still same excuse that craig not there and he will call you back.finally reached Craig only to say we cant refund money. I have all my calls recorded will be going police.

Hi mate have you heard anymore from prestige cars?... I too have paid a deposit then cancelled after the salesman told me the car I was going to be buying had been scratched. Was offered a refund of my £200 but after a week I still have not received it ... going to phone them today and if no joy will raise a small claims court action against them.

Have you reported them to action Fraud and trading standards. They also haven't refunded my deposit I'm in process of reporting them to action Fraud. If more people make complaint to action Fraud something will be done.
I drive 45 min away for looking car pay appointment, when we get there we found a scrappy and dirty reception. No one to welcome us and we were waiting around for the salesperson for 20 mins. I say I ring about car he say wait 10 min car on the way, he told me look back yard if I seen any car, i say no thank you its a dark evening what can I see? Finally car came he hand to me keys saying look at the car...he will be back after another 20 mins. No one comes back. In the end of I go to the office, hand him the keys say thank you very much for wasting my time. The web design looks professional but they as a company are not!!

Worst kind of people you can meet, greedy and would strongly not recommend. Typical car dealer who think they know everything.

These people make promises that they have no intention of fulfilling once you pay the none refundable deposit. That's job done for them as we found out to our expense. Full service (not done) repairs to driver seat (not done) replacing missing spare wheel and jack (not done) 3 months warranty (warranty documents missing) 12 MOT. Certificate present with no advisories ( brakes barely legal). Had joe public taken the car to test it would have been an instant fail. Do yourself a favour buy your next car elsewhere.

I bought are car from Ford's 18 months ago when I went back they offered me less than half of what I paid. I called in to this company and meet Simon who gave me a competitive offer and sorted me a fantastic Coax the did great job from start to finish and Simon was charming and helpful through out. Very happy customer. Trevor and Sandra.
The "gentleman" giving us the hard sell be cane very abrupt and rude when we said we wished to go and look at one more car, quickly stating my car had an oil leak and so wouldn't be giving me the original price he said! When we calmly pointed out the car didn't have an oil leak, the man became extremely agitated and said we had accused of him of lying. . We had not, simply pointed out there was no leak (now confirmed by a mechanic) he said he couldn't be bothered! Perhaps this was because we were 2 ladies? Disgusting and highly inappropriate behaviour for a car sales man, well done mr cos you just lost a sale. Not what I expect, customer service skills, zero. Do not go here!! No negotiations for cas buyers.
absolute joke of a firm!! bought 2 cars of them both have spent more time in the garage been repaired than on the road.. you call an all u get are lies!! Also had more ey stolen from car whilst in their garage been repaired.. my advice is look else where

Found this company on the Internet and after a few helpful phone calls went there to view some cars with my sister .From the off we were greeted and hosted by a guy named Martin, very polite,friendly and all in all a genuine helpful guy who made our time there a very pleasant experience ,we were there for around 5 hrs and Martin looked after us the whole time . This is the kind of service that exceeded expectations and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice car.

Well I was going to look at a BMW they have for sale but after 10mins reading reviews I am going to vote with my feet and go somewhere else. Well done people for taking the time to review what are clearly not a reputable dealership.
Bought car end September. Noticed hand brake was loose after driving home...took to local garage who confirmed rear brakes were virtually worn despite Presrige passing MOt the day before. To be fair, they were passable but literally by less than half a mm!! However, rang prestige and they agreed to repair the brake pads.....which they did........so can't complain at that. My opinion is that they are like a middle of the road budget airline....competitive value, but no frills, safe and will try save every penny where possible. But they did repair the issue without any quibble.overall customer service not the best...the older lady on the day is very 'abrupt' ...as I say.....budget airline without the frills. With a little bit of extra attention to the customer.....pre and post sales, this could potentially be a great company that would then get a loyal customer base and repeat sales....suspect most sales are not repeat business.
