12 months ago, we purchased a BMW from Prestige. We were previous customers, returning because of the excellent service that we'd previously received. The sale was easy, straightforward and came with no pressure from the company. Usually when buying a used car, I dread speaking to a pushy salesman who tries to steer a sale in the direction that they want it to go, rather than letting the customer make their own decision. At Prestige, the sales process is relaxed, you're made to feel welcome and valued as a customer. The test drive was as easy as being handed the keys and let out on our own. Again, no pushy salesman looking over your shoulder. We did the deal and collected the car just under a week later. Unfortunately, from then until now we had issues with the aftercare processes. The tyres that should have been fitted to our car were runflats. The tyres that were supplied were not. Prestige agreed to replace them for the correct runflat tyres ASAP. Various communications going back and forward should have led to the tyres being replaced as agreed. Cutting a long story short, Prestige seem to have had a massive shake up within their staff and have now appointed a lady called Nicole who is in charge of all customer aftercare. I was extremely surprised to receive a call from Nicole asking to sort out our outstanding aftercare issue with our tyres. True to her word, Nicole sourced a brand new set of tyres and had them fitted to the car writhin two days of making contact. Yes, we had issues, and yes, they should have been sorted sooner but as mentioned above, there were never any issues with the sales process. Aftercare is what let the company down. I wholeheartedly believe that with a lot of hard work, Nicole has turned the ship around and the aftercare is now how it should be. Our confidence in the business has been restored, and when buying another car, we would now return to Prestige. If you have any outstanding issues, I suggest that you make Nicole your point of contact.

Pleasure to do business with is company. was slightly concerned when read past reviews but i realised no one is forward in complementing they would rather bash. They have great stock to choose from and great service with customers. All staff seemed pleasant while there.

Recently bought a car from here. Im writing this review on behalf of Simon my salesman. I bought a Range Rover over finch, process was very easy and straight forward i had plenty of choice to choose from. All staff were very friendly as i was waiting for my paper work to be done. After a week or so of driving the car i had a light come on dash board as you can imagine i was very disheartened and i rang Prestige Motors to be put through to Simon he was off so i was told to call back. I did so the day after and after numerous calls that day i got through to Simon where he apologised sincerely for not being able to take my calls which i gladly accepted as when i was there purchasing car it was extremely busy. Simon said he would book me in the two day after i dropped the car off and left it with them. I got a call from Paul Rix and he explained what was wrong with it and that i could collect it whenever was convenient. Since then i have had no further problems or lights come up so over all i had a good experience and staff met my requirements.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you had a issue with the car but our after sales department were able to help and resolve the issue. I am pleased your overall experience was good for you and thank you for your reviews regarding our sales and after sales department.
Recently bought a car from here... I noticed that there were scuffs on alloys I did point this out to my salesman and he said they would be fixed if I wanted the car. I was happy with the car so I agreed deal and waited for my phone call for when car was going to be ready. It was slightly over the time that was agreed for me to pick up the car but I think this was down to my impatience of getting my new car!!! They called me a few days over the time and I went and collected car. When I got to the car I was really happy with the job that had been done on the alloys. On the advert it said that it had a spare key so when I asked they couldn't find it so I was reassured that it would be sent out in the post as I live a hour away and didn't want to keep coming back. So I waited for the key and it arrived soon after a few days. Was so happy At receiving the key because it assured me that Prestige Motors stick to their promise. I will be recommending to friends and family. Had a great experience here and would certainly come back.

I went to prestige motors in newton in willows as we had seen a Dodge Journey that thay were selling for £8250.00 the car needed some minor work doing to it they agred to do the work and sort out the fiance out and the car would be ready for me to collect on the friday 23rd may 2014 i told dominick the salesman no later as i was going away on the 26th may 2014 i arived on the 23rd may to pick up the car as agreed no work had been done to the car. We went to find the salesman (dominic) he said don't wory about it we had to order the parts so we will do it all together so i took the car on the grounds the work would do done and then paid the £2250.00 deposit and the rest throught moto nove fiance. The faults were Back seat panal missing, Back wiper missing, two tears in the front seats, wing mirrors was not working, two large dents in the bonnet, back bumper had only two clips, front bumper was held on with cable ties and still is to this day, door water seal was missing, and the back passenger door had a twist in it and a crack in the paint work. As I start to look around the car there was a colour changed in the paint work on the boot and right side wing where it look like its been resprayed. He told me to phone when I get back so I did on saterday 31st may 2014 then had to speak to the after sales woman (louise) she ask me to bring the car down the week after but we can't give you a cousity car so I took the car down on monday and had no car for the week and on saturday the end of the week she phoned me to come for the i went up and all they had done was the window and the mirrors she said to me she would book it back in. I phoned back the week after and asked to speek to louise but she left and serah took her job she dident know what she was doing on the car so I emailed her all the problems so she could booked it in she dident want to give me a cousity car as she said we dont give them out after a week of argueing with her she gave me the wores car ever my little girl said dad this car is mankey it had mouldy food green stuff growing on gthe window coke cans it was all stick full of dust and dirt I got there as they was closeing the man there told me that is all they had and to phone back in the morning i drove the car home and look at the car and noticed the car he gave me had no tax disc i phoned the day after they was willing to give me a difrent car seven weeks went past all the bits of work got done.there was still a one inch gap between the light and the bumper it tuck sevrel months to fix these minor problems apart from the juddering and the cut in out as the said they dident know what was wrong with it and to phone back when it dose it again so i did it was the day after lee the mecanic askd me to bring it back so i did got the car back and still the same juddering and it cut out in the road after about 10 mins it started again this went on for some time I emailed sarah two or three times but got on reply. emails after emails and phone call after phone call all thease dates are all the emails I sent to them 4 june , 23 june , 15 july , 18 july , 2 aug , 26 oct.( All emails are all together) they never sent one back. It was the 15 july when the turbo was making a noise and juddering and still cutting out as I spock to lee the mechanic over the phone several times about the juddering and cutting out it was on 26th oct the car was still juddering and kept cutting out a number of 9 times it cut out and the more it cut out the harder it was to start again you had to wiggle the key fob for it to start so i took it to a garage to run a diagnostic on the car. By this point sarah had left and cheryl had took her job and she dident know where they was up to soI emailed her the problems so I told cheryl i was takeing the car to a local garage to run a diagnostic she said they would not pay for a thrid party for the diagnostics on the car when we can do it. I told her no just fix the work that needs fixing so she agreed it was a fault on the turbo boost large emmission leak and a faulty EGR valve that was causeing the car to judder and a faulty ignition swith.it was on the saturday 15th November at 3oclock is when the car would not start againso I took it back to the garage on monday the 17th November near where i live he had he had the car two day the problems where still there and the egnithion switch had completey gone. It was the 22nd nov 2014 wich was the last time i sent an email to them Alister was the newest one there as all the other 4 girl had left he sent me a tx of his phone on tue the 25th nov at 1.23 pm saying Hi robert, could you please forward emails to enquiries@prestige-motorsdirect.co.uk I still have the tx on my phone from his phone. So i phoned him back and told him ive sent them all over he said we have no emails or info on the car and work we have done so I sent them all back over to him leave it with me so i did 2 weeks pass then I phoned him he said he will speek to his boss when he comes back from the car autcions another week passed i phoned him back he said you only got one month warranty on the car and it ran out. They had that car nine week out of the five and a half months it was working he never got back. I phoned moto nove and they give them so long to respond. It was on the 19th December I phond back the finances ands they was going to send some one out to look as the car on the 19th January no one came and thats when i got the letter of them thats when i phoned the ombusmen. Im sorry to say that the garage and moto nova have completley let me down and lost all trust

Really sorry to hear of your trouble. We have since reviewed our warranty that we offer so that all customers needs are met. I do apologise that on this instance its too late for you. Unfortunately when dealing with used cars their can be problems, whilst we do our upmost to manage customers expectations it is not always possible to do so.
A year ago I bought a BMW from them.. £16k it cost so not a cheap car.. It had 4 run flat expensive good tyres on it when bought; they said the breaks needed changing so they will do that and then pick up.. When we went to pick up, the car hadn't been touched, we went back a few days later and they had taken all 4 tyres off put cheap budgets on!! Not even run flats so if I have a burst in stuck because car doesnt come with a spare wheel! They Said they are waiting for a new set to come in... Then it was no record.. Then it was a car was coming in and they were swapping tyres.. Then they had a problem with supplier then they started to never call back or email etc .. This was April 2015...I've been for MOT today they said breaks need doing.. I said they got done last year and BMW specialist said the breaks have never been changed.. Being ignored by phone and email and face to face they will contact me as there is nobody to speak to supposedly.

Hi jenna I posted a review about prestige motors &the damaged toyota aygo they sold me. Legally if the car does not fit the description in the ad or is not fit for purpose . Which in your situation &;mine fully roadworthy. Then you are within your rights to ask for the car to he replaced repaired or your money refunded. Your next correspondence should now be to put your complaint in writing & send it to the garage by recorded delivery. If you are still ignored then your next course of action is to start legal proceedings. Keep all your documemts& a record of anything that is wrong with the car (a letter from your garage regarding the dangerous tyres) & any other problem that arise. This garage should not be trading&it is beyond me how so many complaints can be made & they've still not been shut down. I seriously think it will take a fatal accident that occurs in one of their vehicles they have sold before they realise the seriousness of them selling dangerous vehicles to the public. (Which mine is, a twisted wishbone that makes the car automatically wander to the left& you have no control of the car) good luck jenna & I hope this information helps
I purchased a toyota aygo 8wks ago from this garage& need to warn others to not even contemplate handing their hard earned money to this "establishment" that is run by cowboys. After noticing the car veering to the left when driving& not gaining any speed in the rain& being thrown across the lane when a vehicle overtakes mine i had the tyre pressure&tread etc checked which were all ok so I booked my car into my local trustworthy garage to be looked at. Imagine my horror when told upon inspection it was clearly visible that the car had been in an accident. The wishbone was twisted which was why the car was pulling to the left. & the left hand side of the car was not actually metal but filler& also there was something rattling about inside the engine which they couldn't locate. The mechanic asked had I been informed when purchasing the car that it was a damage repairable. To which I certainty wasn't as I would never have considered buying a damaged vehicle as I need a safe stable reliable car as I travel to work on the motorway. I came home& contacted prestige &after explaining what I'd just been told about my car was informed that paul the salesman who sold me the car was off until the next day& would ring me in the morning. By 12.30 the next day after no call from the garage I rang to be told paul was busy with a customer& would ring me back. 2hrs later I managed to have a phone conversation with him where I was very smugly told by him there's nothing I can do it was on the auto trader advert that the car had been damaged. To which I informed him that I never viewed the vehicle on the auto trader I viewed it on prestige motors website which did not state any damage to the car (which I still have the screenshots of the car & links to their website on my phone) also he never warned me upon purchase that the car was a damage repairable. To which he replied I know I didn't but legally I don't have to. I asked to speak to the owner& was told "he doesn't talk to the public" but look lisa I'll have a word, see what he says & get bk to you before we close .... which he didn't. So the next day come late afternoon &after not hearing anything bk from the garage, I rang again only to be told very patronisingly by Paul the salesman that the owner isn't willing to except any liability& "lisa its like I said you haven't got a leg to stand on" even though the car is still under warranty ( yes but only mechanical lisa) so the fact that it's dangerous, Was sold under false pretences to myself & the law states that they have an obligation to refund my money. Replace or repair the vehicle prestige seem to think that now they've got my money in exchange for a dangerous damage repairable car that they were aware was damaged even though I was not, they think they have no legal or human right to fix this. So today I will be seeking legal advice & in the meantime warn others to stay away from prestige motors

Having attended this garage and seeing the number of vehicles for sale and the professional look I was confident of finding a good solid vehicle but that was not to be. We bought a vehicle with full service history and a promise of two new front tyres. We part changed our current vehicle and at the time of agreeing the purchase were offered a good price, which we accepted. On the day my wife picked up our new car, the sales man then decided our PX was not worth what was originally agreed and reduced the offered price by half. In shock and under pressure my wife agreed to pay extra amount to ensure she bought the car she wanted. Two days after purchase, the vehicle had a clear acceleration issue, we contacted the dealership and they told us to return the car so it could be fixed, which my wife did so and picked it back up the same day. She was assured it was repaired with no issues. The next morning the vehicle was even worse than previous, there was a clear lack of power and now the heating/air conditioning sounded like we had an extra car engine. I checked the car fully and found that the two new tyres were in fact used part worn standard tyres, which should have been run flats. We again contacted the garage who told us to once again to return the vehicle so we booked it in when they had a free slot. Before we returned the vehicle for the agreed appointment my wife found one that the front left tyre was flat. She arranged for the vehicle to be taken to ATS for a new tyre, it was there we found out the true state of the vehicle. Both front tyres were shocking, one had been repaired twice previously and was put on the vehicle when we were told it would be new. We also found out the breaks were badly corroded and worn irregularly. The manager at ATS was so concerned he looked further at the vehicle to find there was a major oil leak also My wife returned the vehicle and we were able to obtain a full refund except for the £60 of fuel we had put in the vehicle. From our experience there is a clear lack of quality control, a lack of knowledge and care from the mechanics. If you are buying a car from this garage please do so as a last resort and ensure you have a full independent inspection on the vehicle as its not only money you could loose.

Really sorry to hear you was not satisfied with your experience at Prestige Motors. Part exchange price is given on day of viewing interested car based upon the description of the car on the day. If not as described when coming back in to part exchange we do then work costing on part exchange on the day that would then cause the price to be lower. This is standard practice within the motor industry. We did book you in for the work you wanted but you took your car elsewhere. This left us unable to help you. Therefore I can only apologise that on this instance we have not met your expectations but glad that we was able to resolve it for you and give you a reply to your review.
Avoid this car dealership like the plague. I was on the point of going to small claims over the car I purchased there, broken promises and downright lies, but instead I just got rid of the car and bought something decent from a reputable dealer. Never again I lost money but it's worth it to get rid of the car they sold me.
