Do not buy a car from Pudsey Service Centre. Absolute shambles of a car garage. Sold a car to me with nearly £300 worth of damage. 2 of the window wipers snapped off in half within 3 months of having the car. One of which snapped off half way down the M1 in torrential rain subsequently scratching a massive part of my window screen and I now have to buy a new window screen for it. They obviously put 2 window wipers that were too long for the window on when they put it through its MOT. They just clearly patch cars up before selling them on. Knocking from the car within the first week. Pass MOT's when they shouldn't be passed, just put them through as a matter of personal opinion (or being told by the owner to just pass it) one of the issues within the £300 odd damage should have failed it's MOT. Promised a full 12 month MOT before buying it and all advisories fixed when they weren't (clearly by putting 2 window wipers on too long for the window). Had my worries about buying from a private dealership and the worries paid off. Save yourself some money and buy from elsewhere because I guarantee you will have issues with the car. Seriously poor communication also. Owner refused to give me a refund even though I was fully within my rights to have one. Always see bad reviews on places and choose to ignore them sometimes, well seriously do not ignore this one. Caused me months of stress and such a shame I spent almost £3000 on a shoddy car. Saw a few bad reviews on here about them and really should have listened to them.

What the customer fails to point out is that we attended to the problems at our own expense at a cost of over £200 to be sorted out at a garage of her choice? Therefore I think this review should be removed as it is not true?
I saw a Volvo XC90 for sale on the Pudsey Service Centre website phoned them they said it was having some paint work done but if I paid 250 deposit they would keep it until I could go see it and if I didn't like it I COULD HAVE my money back.They also had problems with the brakes .After a week they said it was ready to view after traveling a hundred miles was very disappointed in the vehicle so I said I would have my deposit back THE REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK .So if you are thinking of buying a car off then do not give them a deposit.

This review is not entirely true? We reserved the car and carried out the repairs and paintwork needed as agreed and at no point did we say we would refund the deposit if the customer didn't like the car? What the customer has failed to point out is that when he came to collect the car he made some excuse about he wouldn't be able to get any lpg ( the gas that the car ran on) were he lived? Surely he would have looked into this before placing his deposit? Again I feel that reviews like this are uncalled for we have been in business for over 28 years and have sold thousands of cars and have thousands of satisfied customers some of who we are selling cars to there grandchildren!
Pudsey Service Centre were not fully honest about his knowledge of vehicle. Despite having a garage to prepare cars... only valet done to hide the faults.

Hi bought a car from Pudsey Service Centre overpriced to start with according to CAP black book only 3 months MOT and no tax we found out after 3 months when we received Sorn or tax letter! Before car 5 weeks old the clutch went then while this was being fixed the radiator was noted as being leaking bug whole in it. Had early mot and service as did not now trust car . 2 front tyres needed changing and all oils break fluids etc were low!! This garage clearly does not service /repair inspect their cars before sale !! Customer service and boss glyn very unhelpful refused to pay towards costs . Did not reply to emails . Managed to get £100 after lots of phone calls and emails spent over £600 with new tyres mot and new clutch n radiator. Shambles of a garage Needs Shutting Down . Reporting to consumer rights trading g standards and Watchdog!!!

Overpriced according to CAP? So why did you buy it? Caveat Emptor. Car wasn't taxed? Cars aren't sold with tax any more; it's been this way since October 2014. You sound clueless.

Firstly must I point out that at point of sale there were no faults with the vehicle but we still contributed to the repairs even though they were wear and tear items? Again I feel this review is unjustified as we have many satisfied customers who appreciate that the cars we sell are not new and and that some problems can occur consistent with age and mileage?
Bought a car from here earlier this week and not really impressed with the service. The car we went to look at had been priced at £4985 on their website for well over a week. However, when we went to view it was over £1000 dearer. We told the salesman and even showed him the website. 'Oh the boss must have just reduced it without telling me' he said. We asked to test drive it mentioning our budget and the car we had to trade in. On checking the price of our trade in he said 'Well there's no point test driving it if you cant afford it' but as he had absolutely no idea what we could REALLY afford was a little patronising to say the least. If the car hadn't been such a great buy we would have gone elsewhere. He was however much more helpful when we produced a large wad of cash in payment.

Sorry for your experience regarding the price of the car you purchased? There must have been some misunderstanding but I am glad you appreciate this and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I purchased a car form here a few months back. Since then I have had to take it back for a repair job which only fixed the issue for a couple of weeks. Then when I reported that the issue had come back. I have had the car checked at a local garage and he seems to thing that they haven't done what they said the would. I wouldn't recommend this dealership.

We purchased a car from Pudsey Service Centre, a 1st class service all the way we left a deposit on our car they saved it for us till our funds came available. Any problems they will sort it out for you nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend this garage for you to buy a second hand car. Great deals, cheap cars, amazing service.
