Where do i start with this experience from the beginning would be a great place i hear you saying. I was looking for a new shape hyundai kona N Line S electric with lux pack, I found one at another dealer who was a Hyundai dealership asked them if they could hold it for me if i left a large deposit as i was just cashing in a pension they said they could not do that so i lost that car. I woke up early one morning about 4.30 couldn't sleep went and made a coffee, went on my phone as you do and a youtube video popped up it was for a 74 plate Hyundai Kona Ultimate with lux pack full grey leather interior the works very low mileage it was a 10 minute video of the car and they went into everything about the car it was very professional and put alot of other car dealers to shame with there flying camera work around there cars. This video was the reason i brought this car without seeing it in the flesh as soon as they opened i was on the phone to them asking if the car was still for sale a very nice gentleman called Colin said yes it was i explained to him my situation and he was very accommodating. You know when you speak to someone for the first time you can kinda know what the person is like i know i can we spoke for quite sometime it was like talking to an old friend. Yes the cynical of you may say he was just sweet talking me so he got the sale, well let me tell you it was the video that sold me the car Colin was just the person who was going to take my money it was his son who made the video that actually made me buy the car that young lads videos are absolutely fantastic. I transferred the remaining balance to them before i even went down there that shows how much faith i had in them a totally honest dealer and you can't say about many people these days,the day came to collect the car and can i say it was the most enjoyable experience Colin is a kind and caring dealer who enjoys what he is doing the car was in immaculate condition like it just came out of a showroom he asked if i wanted to test drive it first which i said there was no need to as I'd already made up my mind. We finished up the paper work and said our goodbyes it was like buying a car off a mate the drive home was a joy in our new car. This is my review of buying a car off a honest dealer and a very funny one at that Thank you Colin and Leo for the pleasant experience
We were on the hunt for an electric vehicle, we actually had one in mind from one of the high street brands but all the venders were scuffed. I then found the same car, in quickars and spoke to Colin, car was immaculate, no scratches, 2owners, low mileage etc. Finance was arranged directly and actually lower than the bank rates and everything went smoothly. Colin was warm and welcoming, response and all the paperwork was in order. We had a really good experience and pleased with our purchase. The owner of this establishment, Colin Franks, comes across as someone you’d love to do business with. Charming, well-spoken, somewhat knowledgeable (although his 20-odd year old son Leo knows his cars better than him) and you think - yes, I’d love to buy a car off him; until you want to do a deal. Other reviews of him here pin him as rude, obnoxious and acting like a 5 year old who throws his toys out of his pram when he doesn't get his own way - from my experience they are right ! Now, on to the matter in hand. My dealings with him are fully supported along the way and I hope he tries to sue me alongside his other court battle he has on the go at the moment ! He advertised an Alfa 2022 Giulia QV with 12,500 miles on the clock for £50,750. I viewed it 4th June 2025. On this viewing the front brakes squeaked, and there was wind rush through both of the front windows - not expected of a (when new) £85,000 car. On the day he said he would sort it but he would like full asking if he concluded both the issues I mentioned. I got in my car and drove home and on the way he called me. He said his mechanic couldn't find anything wrong and that there was nothing he could do. All this - in no more than 2.5 hours mind you….. How many of us have tried to get a mechanic only to wait days - not the man, Colin - he has express access (also know as sitting on his sofa doing nothing until enough time has elapsed) to the best mechanics out there. On the evening I offered him £50,500 - which is - you guessed it - 250 POUNDS OFF ASKING bearing in mind he didn’t offer a solution to the problems. Let that sink in - £250 off an asking price of £50, 750 on a car with ISSUES. He refused my offer demanding full asking the next day. Well, it’s because i'm rich enough not to be reliant on finance or part exing another car - so he doesn't make money off you does he! Apparently he had a viewing sorted off a Jason Patrick Long today….. :) He doesnt. Colin then sulked on the phone when I refused and what a surprise - jacks up the price of the same car to £50,995.00 . A bent trader, who should probably retire and call it day

Bought a Range Rover Hybrid from Colin at Quickars, Stoke Pogues, and the experience was excellent. I saw the vehicle on Autotrader and made an enquiry. From the first contact with Colin, the owner, I was confident that this was a man who knew the car trade inside out. He was polite and professional and went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly during the purchase and collection. I flew into Heathrow Airport and Colin was waiting for me in my new Range Rover. We travelled back to his during which he explained the various options and features in the vehicle. This was very useful for the long drive home to Northern Ireland. Paperwork was completed efficiently and I was on my way in no time. Colin has kept in touch to ensure everything is going well, which was nice. Overall I’m very pleased with the experience and would highly recommend Colin at Quickars.

Qucikars are exactly what they say they are. The description of the vechile was spot on when I arrived and I was allowed time to think without being pressured. Every question I had asked was covered and all papperwork for my car was present. My overall experience was very reassuring having tried elsewhere previously. Since my purchase ive had a follow up call to check if I was enjoying the vechile, which I am, and everything pieve of paperwork given to me was backed up with emails and everything that should be done when buying car. I highly recommend these guys especially if your unsure about used cars or have not had succes elsewhere. I couldn't be more pleased. 5 stars throughout.
