This guy is a total crook. He sold me a Cat D write off via autotrader but had to falsify the advert to show that the car had passed checks.

Paid for a car online thru autotrader site, car arrived to unsatisfactory quality, damaged with every panel ful of deep scratch , refused delivery however owners demanded 10% inconvenience fee for refusing delivery , delivery man left with no car ! No fighting for full money back with no car having sending it back at own cost and still wanting Inconvenience charge which is no Inconvenience charge to him its us thats cost us extra for looking at cat wrongly advetised! Owner Steve is a joke! See you in court! AVOID AT ALL COSTS DO NOT BUY AT ALL
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MAN! Selling cat D cars and not declaring it. Bought a car and after a week found out that it was previous insurance write off, he offered £500 less refund which was ridiculous. We ended up going to court and all process took few months but finally had car collected and refund given. When you read reviews (google it as well as there are a lot of reviews on other websites) concentrate on the negative ones and you will start seeing the pattern as they are doing it all the time - miss-selling faulty or cat D cars. The car we returned now is advertised again and not declared as cat D. We were in the position to wait and take legal action, but there is a lot of people out there who ends up taking less money and returning faulty cars as cannot afford to wait and he is taking advantage of those situations. If you do want to get a car ensure that you hpi check it and if possible take to the garage for inspection prior to buying it. Communication and attitude towards customer are shocking if you have a problem with the car.

I want to clarify that this is not a bad review, but only the story of my experience with Mr Radford, which will surely be useful for people looking for cars. On April 8, after a first telephone contact with Mr Steven Radford, I bought the black BMW 3 series, year 2007, plate number mv57lzc. I paid £ 500 in deposit, then £ 2000 for a total of £ 2500. On Saturday 17th the car is ready with the new Mot, after having failed the first verification test. Mechanic and staff, very kind, very cordial and very professional. Saturday evening the car stops, it loses power something is wrong. I warn Mr Steven Radford, who makes a telephone appointment for me on Monday. Having decided to return the car to Mr Radford's garage, I have the car checked first from the Coventry mot center. The car has a disastrous diagnosis: eletric fan - sporadic current fluctuations - engine oil temperature at time to hight-valvetronic internal fault- valvetronic power limitation servomotor - battery voltage to low. The mechanic from the coventry mototec center commented at the end that the car could never pass the mot. This was explained to Mr Steven Radford, who was very willing to collect the car from Coventry and bring it to his showroom. After verifying that the car was broken, he offered me two options. Repair the car and hand it over to me again. Refund me only £ 2000 as the £ 500 deposit was non-refundable. I tried to explain that the deposit is not refundable in case the customer changes his mind, not if the machine is with the engine fault. But in the end to get the money right away I decided to get the compromise in which I was asked to join a private agreement via email, which included a penalty of £ 10,000 if I left a bad reference on autotreder. For this reason I don't leave any bad references, I put 3 stars. But no one can stop me from sharing my experience. The car is now on sale again at a price above 2500, I'm sure my £ 500 maybe went to repair the car if it can be repaired. However I want to say that Mr Steven Radford is a very polite person who knows how to speak or rather how to write, an excellent business man. I'm sorry that the machine was faulty. Maybe it was just bad luck. Thanks anyway.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS MAN! Disgusting disregard for customer! I bought a Land Rover Freelander from Radford Sports cars T/A Turves Green Service Station 4/12/2020. I paid £2200. It was DELIVERED to me on the 5/12/2020 On the 25th of December (Christmas Day!) it developed an Engine malfunction indicator (M.I.L.) amber light comes on during driving. Exhaust is smoking. Consuming excessive amounts of diesel. Sunroof does not work. Driver heated seat does not work. • 28.12.2020 - Called Radford on 07537165815. He did not pick up my call. • 28.12.2020 – Called Turves Green Service Station. I was initially told they would be able to pick up the vehicle from my address using a tow truck, however I was asked to call back the next day. • 28.12.2020 - Radford called me back, when I explained the situation he said he was happy for the garage to sort things out with me. Did not say that he was not able to transport the vehicle. • 28.12.2020 - Called Turves Green Service Station. Was informed that Radford had told them that it was up to me to transport the vehicle. This is not possible as it’s not usable to drive. I am also aware that it is their responsibility to collect it was they delivered it when I purchased. • 28.12.2020 – Called Radford. He was evasive on the phone. Said it was up to me to sort out transport. He ended the conversation by putting the phone down on me. • 28.12.2020 – Called Citizens advice Consumer helpline for advice. They are reporting the matters described to Trading Standards on my behalf. • 30.12.2020 – Letter sent asking for a full refund within 14 days. No response received. • 11.01.2021 – email sent with an attached copy of the letter sent. 12.01.2021- email sent by Auto trader reminding Mr Radford for his obligations under the Consumer Protection Act 2015. I was given no paper work on my statutory rights to a 14 cooling off period and am interested to note that the sale has been processed as a private sale where as I was under the impression I was buying from a dealership. When I first spoke to Steve Radford, he wanted me to make a bank transfer to a private bank account which I did not feel happy about and am in hindsight relieved to have used my credit card to pay as I hope you will be able to afford me some protection against this man under section 75 of the Consumer Protection Act 2015.

An unfortunate unpleasant experience that lost us £100s. I recently bought a VW Polo GTI. Due to coronavirus we had the car delivered. Particulars: Alloys and paintwork repairs agreed were not done. Three advisors on MOT - two tyres and brake discs that were failed to be disclosed. These had to be repaired and replaced to make it road legal. The car inside on delivery was very dirty, stains and marks on seats, dashboard and carpets, holes in seats - it's a shame i can't share pictures. Engine mangement warning light and bulb management light on permanately. One Key No service history (although advertised with FSH) Gear box change fails. My insurance company contacted me a week after insuring it to tell me they are cancelling my policy because the car was subject to a serious right off in 2015 but they didn't disclose the details. Sadly none of this information was disclosed in the ad and we were given inaccurate info. Partial refund received we lost hundreds of pounds. Be careful.

I come to Radford Sports Cars monthly for a monthly checkup and the mechanics do great jobs.
I bought an Audi A5 from radfords sports cars and the people there were honest and very polite, they went over the car with me, showed me the ins and the outs of the car, I loved it from the beginning, they told me all the details of the car, and provided me with everything, and the price was very good, and I will definitely recommend them to family and friends and we’ll 100% be buying cars from here again, I couldn’t of asked for better service.
