AVOID AVOID AVOID I bought a car from Mark in May, the biggest regret was I wished I’d listened to the bad reviews! He will give promise everything until he has your money which is when he will not care. However, I took precautions which I’m so glad I did. Firstly I arranged an independent inspection of the car which hi-lighted several issues including an exhaust blowing, missing wheel bolts, pitted & worn brake disks, damaged tyre etc all agreed by Mark to repair, incl a full mot, service and written on the deposit receipt and agreement of sale, so in good faith I paid £400 deposit by credit card. The following week, mark rang to say he’d had to do the rear brake disks and the rest had been repaired. So to ensure I had it in writing I made sure he confirmed by email. This is where the lies began - oh and before mark you try to reply by blaming incompetent driving, slander or anything else - remember i have the evidence to back this up in court! On delivery of the car, it was obvious the exhaust was still blowing and hadn’t been repaired. It was then noticed that the wheel bolts were still missing - an automatic fail for an MOT. So within 5 days I put it through another MOT which it failed and I was advised the exhaust hadn’t been repaired and the front brake disks were an advisory which hadn’t been repaired as agreed also. After ringing the MOT centre I questioned them on how he passed the vehicle with missing wheel bolts, he hung up! I rang Mark and insisted on a full refund straight away he refused - we recorded this conversation as evidence. Mark refused all further correspondence from me. The MOT centre & Rawdon Motors were both immediately reported to trading standards. Getting no where we pursued Rawdon under section 75 by my credit card company who have covered the £1240.69 costs in order to cover all the repairs and meet the legal requirements of our agreement for the sale of the car. However I would of gone to small claims court as I do not let myself be bullied by liars. Rawdon will now be pursued by them to recover these costs. So yes we covered ourselves for every eventually should the reviews be correct - which they were! So save yourself the hassle and go to a dealership who honours his word and sticks to the legal requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on either. He fraudulently sold me a vehicle, lied and refused me my legal rights - do you really want to buy a car from this man?

The lads were spot on, the car a good price, got £200.00 more part exchange than Auto-trader quoted and a really nice car with a 12 month premium warranty. I'd highly recommend this company if you're looking for a second hand car.
Oh Boy. How refreshing to meet with and deal with a second hand car dealer that does what they say they will do. No names needed but I have nothing but praise for the service which I received whilst both selling and buying from Rawdon Motors. When I had a problem after my purchase there was no " Well it is covered by the guarantee you got with your purchase" instead they just asked me to return straight away and immediately commenced to put the car back through the workshop and carry out a satisfactory repair. I hasten to add that this was two weeks after the purchase. i would like to thank all the staff involved and confirm that I will be returning each time I require a change of car. Thank you. If you value your money DO NOT BUY a car from Rawdon Motors I now own a car that I can’t drive thanks to these con men Justin & Mark from day dot there’s been problems with the Mini Countryman they sold me and my wife 1st thing was on viewing the car it was 3 thousand miles over what they had advised it as also in the ad it said it had sat nav. Oh and guess what NO SAT NAV then it had a DRL light out and I just thought it was a bulb out Nope it was the whole unit gone to make it even better the washer fluid sensor had gone then within day the DRL on the other side went as well as the handbrake cable which Mark assured me that Both had been replaced and was a good as gold now only to find out he’d replaced one when alloys on the Mini was in a shocking state so I had them refurbished as well as other bodywork Now here comes the best bit my wheel bearing on the drivers side had to be replaced as well as my tyres kept going down so they where re-sealed then a week later I hear a noise coming from the P/S and think it’s the wheel bearing nope it’s the drive shaft or even worse the gear box and p/s door wouldn’t open then my wife speaks to the bully boy Mark and he spoke to my wife like she was a peace of dirt on his shoes and try’s to put the blame on me and my wife for all the problems with the car as well as blaming us for a buckled wheel that wasn’t buckled when the car was dropped off to Rawdon Motors after he fully admitted that 5 of his guys drove the car these guys are con men and if you want to waste your money then please buy a car from them but if you want my advice please spend your hard earned cash anywhere else but here

I purchased a car 13 days ago with assured inspection and warranties the inspection sheet had a ? Mark against air conditioning but I was told it was so because they were unable to test it It was not working so I returned it to them they made alsorts of excuses and refused to do anything about it in fact some of the back garage staff were quite derugative with their remarks I called at a garage on my way home where they found no gas in the system this was replaced and tested 35 mins and a small fee less than £50 why risk a reputation for peanuts? Be warned about Rawdon Motors.

Bought a small car two weeks ago - very pleased with the car, the deal and the people we met. Unfortunately there was no handbook in the car, nor the gas tyre repair kit. Were assured these would be sent on but unfortunately they haven't arrived. Had to buy the gas tyre kit from Amazon and the handbook which isn't the correct one.and this has been disappointing. We are elderly people and were delighted with the deal on the car but this has spoiled it. Maybe if we had bought a more expensive car we'd have had better follow-up!
