Dan looked after us and was very attentive. Every question we had was answered swiftly and if unsure got advise from one of his colleagues which was very reassuring. Agreed to pick the car up 7 days later as promised with everything completed

Great experience. Me and my wife were left to look around the car with no pressure. The salesman had the car out ready and fuelled up for a test drive. Overall cannot fault

Don’t bother buying from here we went to look at a Range Rover sport on Saturday. I spoke to Scott before we came to advise him we would be coming - luckily we are only 40 minutes away. Arrived the car was sat at the front with several cars behind it - flat tyre- broken door handle all messy inside - straight away put off by this. The car on the website looked lovely with loads of space around it taken inside a garage. We had to squeeze our way round loads of other cars to get to see it.

So we enquired about a car they had for sale and arranged with one of there salesmen to view the car, when we arrived it was havoc. Know where to park other than at the other end of the industrial estate. We walked back to the dealership to find out the car was at the back of there valeting unit, after a while we finally got the salesmen to move it forward a bit so we could look over the car, the floor of the unit was soaking wet from the valeting bay and we kept getting spray from the jet wash coming over whilst looking at the car. Once he had pulled it forward the salesman just disappeared. We spent an hour looking over the car the best we could in the small wet space they had left for us. After an hour one of the valeters came over and asked if we wanted to test drive it. We said yes and he had to move at least 6/7 cars to get the car we was looking at out of the valeting unit. After another half hour wait to get the car out we finally had contact from the salesman again, we asked to test drive it, to which he said ok but it has no fuel in it so will have to go the the petrol station to put some in. Bearing in mind we had an appointment that had been booked in for over a week to do this and they still wasn’t prepared for us. Went out for a test drive and the salesman just kept talking and talking and talking. Not even about the car half the time. We got back and had a chat about things we had found that we wanted doing if we were to purchase the car. Brake were very worn with big lips on the disks, wheels were kerbed, a damaged seat and the rear tyres were worn on the inner edge. They didn’t agree to do any of the work unless the mot guys said it needed doing. Anyway I knew the brakes would need doing as they was pretty bad, so we agreed a deal. We then had to chase them for an update on the parts we wanted doing. When they finally got back to us they did the brakes and the wheels but not the tyres. So we accepted it and paid for the car, now bear in mind this was a £55000 car and not a £5000 car. Anyway after them telling us they needed 2 weeks to get the bits done and prep the car for collection. We agreed a date and time. We also purchased a 3 year RAC warranty with car and the car also came with a 30 day warranty from RDM. Collection day, we turned up on time again to know where to park again. We looked over the car and finalised the sale with them. Drove it home and organised a detailer to come and clean the car properly as the job the dealership done was terrible. After the car sitting in the garage for a few days we pulled it out to find a small patch of oil on the garage floor. After inspection we found the drivers side turbo was leaking oil. So we emailed RDM to get it done on there 30 day warranty, they told us we had to use the RAC warranty we took out when buying the car. We disputed this and after allot of chasing and hassle they said the car would have to go back to them for repair if it was covered under there warranty. Anyway after chatting with friends and family about the shambles’s this company has given us already we decided to get it done ourselves as we didn’t have any trust left in them now. We basically washed our hands of there poor service and attitude (I’m sure you’ll see there attitude in there reply to this review). So to sum up this company they don’t have cars ready for booked in viewings, the salesmen don’t really do any selling just paperwork, there warranty’s are not worth the paper there printed on, they do t use genuine parts as we found out the brakes they replaced where not genuine items and they just want maximum profit with little work.

"DVLA and car insurance "

I have received a letter last week from the DVLA saying my car was not insured and I would receive a penalty of £100 if this was true. Well I do not own this car it was sold to RDM on 11th February 2023 in exchange for another vehicle I immediately rang the company and asked why have I received this letter the salesman Liam said my old car was in the compound waiting to go to auction and he would get the paperwork from the car and enter on line all the details to the DVLA this took 3 days after ringing them 5 times to ask if the transfer had been done then today was told an email had been sent to me and gone ahead. My reason for this review is after it took 4 months to get this done and the upset it caused me thinking I was still showing as the owner from the DVLA. This has caused me stress and worry and will not be recommending this company. On reflection I would like to say the salesman Adam was understanding so thank you to him

Hi Avis, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. I have looked into this and can see an online transaction was attempted on the day you swapped your old Mondeo in for the new car. Unfortunately sometimes the online system can fail with no real warning to ourselves. Once notified by yourself and were able to obtain the V5 to process this it was done as quickly as possible. Thank you also for your kind words regarding Adam - he is a superstar! Kind Regards RDM DIRECT LTD

I recently put a deposit on a vehicle but was forced to pull out due to unforeseen circumstances. Liam and the team were very understanding and agreed to return my deposit without hesitation. A big thank you to RDM Direct. 👍

If I could give 0 stars I would. Just check their reviews page on everything and you’ll see their aftersales service is vile, had nowt but trouble since buying a car from these and all they do is ignore you, I’ve emailed several times over the last few months to which they ignore then I call to which they say they’ll call back… theyve never called back and it’s been about 3-4 months 🤯, but unlucky for these I contacted my finance company who inspected the car and found the issues I had genuine and tons of issues stored on the cars ECU from the time I bought the car, and luckily they’ve gave me compensation for the hassle RDM have caused me and are sorting out the many repairs on the car, so if any of you who’ve had problems with your car and it’s on finance give them a call and explain everything to them and they will help even when RDM don’t! Just stay far away from these people and save yourself any hassle.

Nick Rogers from RDM Direct Ltd in response to AVOID

Hi Paul, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. The first contact from yourself was on the 01/03/2023. 7 Months after purchase. You were advised on the initial phone call that you were out of warranty but send some information to us and we will take a look to see if there was anything we could do to help. The finance company then took over and did a report via a company called 'ACE'. Once the report was done and sent to ourselves we mutually agreed to carry out the required work defined by ACE - even going above the required by replacing the heater matrix free of charge. Ecu codes can come and go. Things like a weak or flat battery can cause 10 to 20 error codes in an ECU. If the faults were there at time of purchase to then 7 months later a warning light or issue would have appeared. Kind Regards RDM DIRECT LTD

Went to pick up my car on the arranged date to find the drivers side sun visor was missing having been broken off, I was told by RDM they had ordered the sun visor but it hadn’t arrived yet and they would forward it on to me and pay for it to be fitted which I was happy with but this never happened after multiple phone calls I decided to replace the sun visor myself as it was making it difficult to drive on sunny days. If this wasn’t enough of an issue RDM failed to submit the log book to the DVLA resulting in me having to pay a further £25 to obtain this. Not a single apology from them and they have even been quite rude on the phone when trying to chase anything up

Nick Rogers from RDM Direct Ltd in response to Not the best

Hi Kaiser, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I have looked into this for you and can see a sun visor was sent out by ourselves roughly 1 week after collection when it arrived with ourselves. Sometime things can get lost in transit and we can only apologise. In regards to the V5, once we submit an online transfer of ownership the DVLA will not let us chase the where abouts of it due to the details changing from ourselves to you. If there is anything we can help with please give us a call on 01283 515136 Kind Regards RDM DIRECT LTD
