My overall experience At RDM Direct was great. Very helpful, polite and professional. No pushy sale's, cars to meet all budgets, and also good after sales service. They went out of their way to meet my requirements. I would recommend this company.
If you are going to buy a car from this garage, im telling you now do not do it, do not put yourself through stress. just a bit of background i bought a Mercedes in feburary 2020 from this dealer, a rattling sound appeared literally 2 weeks after buying the vehicle and squeaking brakes. everytime i went to raise my concerns and tried to fix this car they always came back saying nothing is wrong with the car even though i had proof that it was there from 3 garages i independently visited myself and paid to give me information about the vehicle. after travelling a long way from my house and leaving my car with them for a week they did not fix anything and DUNCAN the guy i delt with who initially even heard the brakes squeak and yet still did not get them fixed. im telling you ive had to suffer the consequence by fixing the brakes myself which was very expensive and also now in the middle of fixing the injectors which is costing me more than £1000. I am also building a case and planning on taking them to court for everything that went on during my complaint however due to the VIRUS its been put on hold. THIS COMPANY MUST BE AVOIDED. and George the Manager is very RUDE and does not give a crap about how the customers feel or how much time and money theyve spent just to get simple matter sorted. If youre reading this believe me do not even try purchase from them they will lie to you and you will have to spend so much and all they'll say is "look we've done our best, theres nothing with your vehicle". I had so much anxiety and felt very alone in during my complaint. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. Worst experience of my life.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Every concern you have had has been listened to and investigated. You alleged the vehicle had ‘squeaking brakes’ and ‘noisy injectors’. The brakes were tested by us and an independent garage; no noises were found and upon inspection (including a Brake test used in an MOT), the brakes were fine and had only recently been replaced. The injectors reported no faults and sounded no different to any other vehicle with the same engine. However to ease your concern, we had our local Mercedes-Benz Main Dealer do a thorough test on the injectors, health check and inspection to which they reported it was running perfectly- with no faults (including the brakes). We went above and beyond to demonstrate the vehicle was fault free and gave you the reports & receipts from the independent garage and Mercedes Main Dealer. A courtesy vehicle was provided to you at no cost, to limit the inconvenience; though no fault was found with the vehicle at any point! In summary, we are bemused as to what more we could of done to please you and ease your concerns, with a fault free vehicle. Regards, RDM Direct.

I have been waiting all week for them to put a used GTC through the workshop for me to veiw this Sunday after various phone calls including today as was travelling 2 hours to see it even offers to put deposit down for them to then tell me the car was sold ! Am furious as I have wasted my time and effort what a shower this garage is I work in the trade and have never encountered a bad customer service as RDM give disgusting and furious

This is something which you unfortunately did not take advantage of. Needless to say, any one of our vehicles remains on the marketplace, unless a deposit is placed on it (which I’m sure is the case at every other car dealership across the country). We understand your disappointment, as this was a particular model which are very hard to come by, however abusive voicemails left out of hours are not something which is deserved or tolerated. From the initial phone call, to the greeting on arrival and general service I received, excellent. Px not as high as some other garages but the car ticket price was less, overall a better deal. Car was clean on arrival, few marks on the body agreed in the deal which was done with no problems. No hard sell and a decent cup of tea!! I would recommend this garage and will check the stock when I’m ready for another vehicle.

I wouldn't buy a car off RDM ever again, I brought my car off them after being told the clutch and water pump had recently been done which was the main reason I brought that car and within 3 months the water pump is leaking and the flywheel is chattering, very disappointed and expensive to put right.

I bought a Citroen from rdm direct, after 3 attempts to repair a fault on it that was there from day one and acknowledged by them that it should be repaired under the guarantee, they said they couldn’t repair the vehicle and they would help no further. Most disappointing.

Bought a car from RDM Direct for £10000 had it a week it broke down due to cooling issues, they came and picked the car up , had the car in there garage for 6 weeks, I went to pick it up and 2 days later it broke down with the the same problem, , Duncan and George never trust what they say at all , full blown cowboy outfit,,, buyers beware

RDM Direct are disappointed to read your comments and the version of events listed, they are wholly inaccurate. It was alleged the vehicle purchased had developed a fault two weeks after collection. Based on what you had informed us, we opted to get the vehicle recovered back to our workshop; no fault was found. An independent inspector was sent to inspect the vehicle by your finance company; no fault was found. After 3 months you admitted the vehicle had no fault and you simply could not afford it. You have since offered us 'cash' if we bought the car back and left us drunken, abusive voicemails. We have supplied you a fantastic vehicle in good faith and vehemently contest your comments. I bought a Mercedes from Ducan, there is a rattling sound coming from the engine after 2 attempts already asking them to fix it they keep telling me there’s nothing wrong with the car. DUCAN ESPECIALLY IS A LIAR I WOULDNT TRUST HIM ,now I’m fighting to reject this car after only have it less than a month. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and crap garage
Bought a 2006 bmw from RDM Direct in June after I’d paid for it collection got delayed as both turbos had gone. They replaced all was fine. Then I collected straight into limp mode on the way home. Long story short it’s been in twice for repair each time they have been unable to fix it. Now all I want is a refund which they are refusing. Saying it’s broken and keeps stating it’s an old car. But still a car I paid 5000 pounds for in a supposedly working order. Also while in there garage it had been scratched and cigarette ash all in it with there technician saying to me they don’t even know how to work on it. Also they didn’t reimburse me for taking it to and from them for supposed repairs costing me £45 a trip. Also had the cheek to use half a tank of my petrol while it was with them. Now 8 months later it’s been through court and there defence had been struck out. Now to file judgement against them and finally get my money back after a long 8 months. Avoid. Your asking for trouble.

RDM Direct are disappointed to read your comments and the version of events listed. The vehicle returned to our workshop on two occasions. The first for a slipping clutch, which was replaced. The second for investigation into an Engine Management Light; which was found to be relative to damage inflicted to the vehicle whilst in your possession. The repairs of which were paid for by yourself, with invoices to prove. Months after this point you did indeed contact again with regards to a performance issue, which we offered to diagnose at our premises or to alternatively visit a local garage (utilising your AA Warranty). Your repairer of choice was the local BMW Main Dealer agent whom confirmed a misfire, which was already apparent and the most likely remedy to be a coil pack. From this point no repair was authorised or arranged by yourself. In the months that followed you requested a full refund, which was respectively declined after seeking legal advice. You then opted (perfectly within your rights) to take the matter to a small claims court. Our defence was struck out on the basis a suggested mediation questionnaire was not received. Instead of dragging the matter out any further and reinstating our defence, we opted to draw a line under the matter and agree. The vehicle has since been fitted with a replacement coil pack and drives perfectly. Regards, RDM Direct
