AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!... I put a deposit on a mini, needed body work doing & a full valet as it was in a terrible condition. Test drove it, so thought all was ok. Salesman said I should put a deposit down which I did. I thought to myself if it isn't to my satisfaction I'd just get money back.....BIG MISTAKE!!! If I had know the full facts of the car I was going to buy, I would not have left a deposit. I've given them plenty of time for them to do the right thing, but obviously they don't value their reputation much. No doubt they will respond with some rubbish but I don't do this lightly. Might only be a small sum to them but to me it isn't. I just want my money back. Unprofessional, dishonest & to me, quite nasty. Make up your own minds,

Hi Dino, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. When you came to view and test drive the vehicle, it had only been with us for a couple of days having been taken in part exchange. On the second time of coming to view the vehicle later that day, you requested specific works to be completed prior to collection at the point of sale. Though the vehicle being in need of a valet (which otherwise would of been completed had we of known of your intended visit), it was far from being in poor condition; it had been quite obviously well cared for hence your desire to purchase. The following weekend you did not arrive at the agreed time so we made a courtesy call to reschedule for a time that suited you, at this point you made us aware you no longer wanted the vehicle. We prepared the vehicle as per your requirements and refunded half of your deposit to cover the further works you requested. First thing to note, be aware of the hidden £98 ‘admin fee’ not advertised on Auto Trader! Which they will then use as a ‘discount’ tactic later Most cars are supplied by Hilton Garage (which have a very bad reputation for quality of their cars) yet when questioned about this the salesman was very defensive and denied this happened at all until provided the proof from their own publicly available accounts! Don’t ask any questions about their cars or the company whatever you do as it turns very sour when you do. This attitude makes me very suspicious of what they’re hiding.

The owner of the garage is a family member to the founder and owners of Hilton Garage and up until the end of 2019 we did source some of our price ranged cars from there, which were taken in part exchange and either a little too old or a few too many miles for their stocking policy. Every vehicle sourced from there was advertised as such; arguably the best source for lower priced budget cars opposed to not knowing issues involved with older vehicles sourced through auctions. Your visit was in the middle of 2020, by this point non of our stock was sourced from Hilton Garage; which you were advised. After 15 years in a very competitive market place we have nothing to hide and are very proud of both our heritage and retailing in excess of 10,000 cars to date. Kind regards, RDM Direct
My overall experience At RDM Direct was great. Very helpful, polite and professional. No pushy sale's, cars to meet all budgets, and also good after sales service. They went out of their way to meet my requirements. I would recommend this company.
If you are going to buy a car from this garage, im telling you now do not do it, do not put yourself through stress. just a bit of background i bought a Mercedes in feburary 2020 from this dealer, a rattling sound appeared literally 2 weeks after buying the vehicle and squeaking brakes. everytime i went to raise my concerns and tried to fix this car they always came back saying nothing is wrong with the car even though i had proof that it was there from 3 garages i independently visited myself and paid to give me information about the vehicle. after travelling a long way from my house and leaving my car with them for a week they did not fix anything and DUNCAN the guy i delt with who initially even heard the brakes squeak and yet still did not get them fixed. im telling you ive had to suffer the consequence by fixing the brakes myself which was very expensive and also now in the middle of fixing the injectors which is costing me more than £1000. I am also building a case and planning on taking them to court for everything that went on during my complaint however due to the VIRUS its been put on hold. THIS COMPANY MUST BE AVOIDED. and George the Manager is very RUDE and does not give a crap about how the customers feel or how much time and money theyve spent just to get simple matter sorted. If youre reading this believe me do not even try purchase from them they will lie to you and you will have to spend so much and all they'll say is "look we've done our best, theres nothing with your vehicle". I had so much anxiety and felt very alone in during my complaint. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. Worst experience of my life.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Every concern you have had has been listened to and investigated. You alleged the vehicle had ‘squeaking brakes’ and ‘noisy injectors’. The brakes were tested by us and an independent garage; no noises were found and upon inspection (including a Brake test used in an MOT), the brakes were fine and had only recently been replaced. The injectors reported no faults and sounded no different to any other vehicle with the same engine. However to ease your concern, we had our local Mercedes-Benz Main Dealer do a thorough test on the injectors, health check and inspection to which they reported it was running perfectly- with no faults (including the brakes). We went above and beyond to demonstrate the vehicle was fault free and gave you the reports & receipts from the independent garage and Mercedes Main Dealer. A courtesy vehicle was provided to you at no cost, to limit the inconvenience; though no fault was found with the vehicle at any point! In summary, we are bemused as to what more we could of done to please you and ease your concerns, with a fault free vehicle. Regards, RDM Direct.

I have been waiting all week for them to put a used GTC through the workshop for me to veiw this Sunday after various phone calls including today as was travelling 2 hours to see it even offers to put deposit down for them to then tell me the car was sold ! Am furious as I have wasted my time and effort what a shower this garage is I work in the trade and have never encountered a bad customer service as RDM give disgusting and furious

From the initial phone call, to the greeting on arrival and general service I received, excellent. Px not as high as some other garages but the car ticket price was less, overall a better deal. Car was clean on arrival, few marks on the body agreed in the deal which was done with no problems. No hard sell and a decent cup of tea!! I would recommend this garage and will check the stock when I’m ready for another vehicle.

I wouldn't buy a car off RDM ever again, I brought my car off them after being told the clutch and water pump had recently been done which was the main reason I brought that car and within 3 months the water pump is leaking and the flywheel is chattering, very disappointed and expensive to put right.

I bought a Citroen from rdm direct, after 3 attempts to repair a fault on it that was there from day one and acknowledged by them that it should be repaired under the guarantee, they said they couldn’t repair the vehicle and they would help no further. Most disappointing.
