I was interested in buying a Porsche Panamera 2010 model. I spoke to a man called Duncan who told me about the car. He informed me that I needed to make a deposit of £250 if i wanted the car, I agreed and left a deposit. However after asking a few more questions about the car I realised the car was not the spec I was after so called Duncan back the same day and requested my deposit of £250 be returned. He seemed very disappointed by this and a little bit pushy. He told me my deposit was going to be refunded. It's now been a week and a half and i still have not recieved my money back. I called the garage today and spoke to a man called George who claimed to be the manager. I asked him about this refund to which he showed no interest in and just simply told me dunc and having family issues he will speak to him when he is next in. Surely the manager of the company can look into the system and find out why my money has not been refunded yet or where it has gone. Terrible terrible car showroom. Would not recommend anyone use them. They have no customer service skills and quite frankly if you buy a car from them just be prepared for them to not support if or when things go wrong.

RDM Direct are sorry to hear about your grievances and would like to confirm the following: A deposit was placed on the above vehicle over the phone, after a detailed description and walk around of the car. Notification was not given on the same day of a desire to cancel the order. After receiving a call querying refund progress, we were unable to give you an answer there and then. RDM Direct advised you we would get back to you by the end of the working day, which we did in less than hour, once our ledger had been checked. We contest the criticism of our showroom, when our site was not frequented on a single occasion. Our customers are greeted by all of our staff and allowed space to inspect our vehicles at leisure, in addition to being able to have unaccompanied test drives. We are confident and stand by our vehicles as premium examples, RDM Direct thoroughly believe they sell themselves hence our relaxed sales process. Regards, RDM Direct

Really poor experience. The car was not sold as advertised and I have had Issues with the tyres that have taken way to long to resolve and lots of travelling back and forth for them to do a cheap job. I am very angry and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

RDM Direct are sorry to read your comments and would like to confirm the following: We feel the vehicle advertisement was a true reflection of the car. Our adverts have personal descriptions listing: specification, mileage, service history, previous owners and the amount of keys. Following this we welcome comments as to how the vehicle did not meet its description in mind the vehicle was viewed prior to a collection date being established. The 3 occasions visiting our site includes the initial viewing and collection. When the vehicle was bought back when a concern was raised all four tyres were replaced with comparable tyre size and brand. This was done without any contest and without any kind of cost incursion to yourself. The replacement tyres were fitted weeks after collection date and RDM Direct would like to stress prior to collection were in perfectly acceptable perimeters. Kind regards, RDM Direct

really poor aftercare. The tyres were very poor and it took me 3 attempts to get them to fix it. They have caused me a lots of hassle and they didn't even replace the wheels with the correct tyres they just gave me really cheap ones. The dealers were very rude and I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone.

So far so good, really happy with the cart and I have had no major issues. All of the staff were very helpful and nice and the car was immaculate. I would very highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

I would strongly advise anyone looking to buy a vehicle, not to buy from here! AVOID! My father bought a Mini Cooper S on 19th December at 5pm. I called the garage to say we were coming to view the car. When we got there they made us wait to go and collect the car from another area. Upon the test drive we noticed that the car was running on fumes (12 miles on range) and had a tyre pressure warning light on. My father still purchased the car, but this was to be the start of a catalogue of issues. From the very next day it had problems - Car pulling all over the place! (later diagnosed as Spring/Coil misalignment), car was overheating, steam coming from bonnet/No coolant in the vehicle (BONE DRY WHEN CHECKED 1 DAY LATER), low pressure Tyre sensor malfunction and bulbs blown all over car (even though RDM will claim every car goes through a substantial AA point check!- Yeah right). I called the garage and spoke to Duncan who was very friendly and he advised for us to bring the car back in. When my father took the vehicle back initially, he met with George who told him that steam coming out of the engine was "normal"?! and not too worry! They gave him a courtesy car which was again bone dry from fuel and filthy. My father's car has since had a new thermostat, new coolant, new bulbs and wheel alignment. But no mention of a new spring/coil on receipts??? Upon collection of the vehicle today, my father was met by Russell (original salesman and owner) who became overly aggressive and shoved my 64 year old father twice. He then proceeded to tell my father that he had made no money on this car and he should never to return to his garage again! to be more specific "leave my garage before I do something I will regret!" I called the garage to complain and get to the bottom of it only to be met by a tirade of abuse on phone, telling me how rude we all were and what kind of family are we?! He then said he wanted my details because his "solicitor" was going to send me a letter for slander, because I said I was informing trading standards of malpractice at their garage. Absolutely Horrendous behaviour - In their eyes the customer is never right and they seem to take every car sale query/issue as a personal attack- no professionalism whatsoever shown by the owner. Honest advice - pay a little bit more and go to an approved dealership, companies like this don't deserve people's hard earned cash. My father is regretting this purchase right now.

RDM Direct wholly contest the allegations made in the above review and would like to place on record true events: Our vehicles are located on site, upon arrival one of our salesman walked you straight over to the vehicle of interest. From there you asked for time alone to inspect the vehicle and have a look around it. We arranged an unaccompanied test drive with ample fuel to last the maximum of 30 minutes drive. With respect to the alleged problems; they did not occur the very next day. Your father called with a concern with regards to the coolant level; we booked the vehicle into our service department the next day and supplied him with a courtesy car. We have a internal job card in which we ask as many questions as possible,to allow us to explain faults to our technicians, at no point was the fault declared as being "normal", quite the opposite. After inspection we found a fault/failure of the 'thermostat housing'- a very common fault with MINI vehicles. This was rectified in addition to a bulb which had blown since collection and tracking. The vehicle is over 10 years old, we can make all the checks and inspections possible however cannot take into account the sporadic failure of parts. After repairing the vehicle without quarrel or any kind of objection and supplying your father with a courtesy car, for what reason or justification would the owner of our garage then launch into an unprovoked tirade of abuse as you allege. Servicing receipts of repairs were handed for the maintenance records of what work had been completed, in our offices and showroom with other members of staff and customers present. The owner of the garage does not sell cars, neither was he present when it was purchased. We cannot fathom the basis of the allegations and contest them in every aspect possible. Regards, RDM Direct

I purchased Ford Kuga from here back in August. The car was not very clean but was in good condition and up to now I have only had one small issue which the dealership managed to get sorted. Overall, I am happy and I would recommend this dealership.

I bought a BMW from here back in August. The car is in beautiful condition for its age and was a very good price. There were a couple of issues which got resolved eventually. Other than that its been fine. This dealership had a good range of well sourced, quality cars and I would recommend them.

Very good dealership. I purchased a Seat Leon in August. The car was clean and in excellent condition and the dealers have been really helpful. The car is good value for money. I have had some issues with it which are being resolved currently by Seat but this is no fault of the dealership. I thought the service was very good and I would recommend them, definitely.

I brought a Vauxhall Meriva in September from RDM Direct. It broke down on the way home. Someone came out with a new battery. The same night it broke down again. It went back to the garage for 4 days for a new starter motor, a few days later the clutch went,I asked for a refund and was told they, by law, had the right to repair it once. I have since found out that this is false. it went back again. Then the back brare pads went, back again, the hazzard warning lights came on intermittently and wouldn't turn off, back again. Diesel warning light came on on the dashboard, back again for new diesel filter. I then asked for a replacement vehicle or refund, which Russell, the Manager, agreed to. I went back to the garage and chose another vehicle which was more than I had paid for the Meriva and offered to pay the difference, ironic considering the trouble is had had with the Meriva. I was told a phone call would be made to me the following day when it was ready. No call came. I called them and was told that if I wanted the car I would have to pay more because of the VAT that they had paid fixing this one. They sold me the faulty car, why should I pay more! I subsequently said then I would like my refund. Russell denied agreeing to my refund. I am no liar. Please be very wary if buying a car from rdm direct. They were aware my husband is disabled and that my car is essential. They are pleasant initially but the after care is atrocious. My advise, stay away.

After all we have done to help you I find your comments very disappointing. We have bent over backwards to accommodate you and have spent over 1000 pounds rectifying some wear and tear issues that can go wrong on a car that is nearly 10 years old. Your version of events is not what happened, we both know this. You are the only negative review I have had in 20 years in business, at least your constant threats re bad reviews will not be tolerated by me or anyone working for me anymore

Very happy with the service and the positive attitude of the staff at RDM Direct. I purchased Vauxhall Astra back in July and I am very happy with it, The engine did blow not long after purchase but they were very good and fitted a brand new one for me free of charge. The car was very good value for money and the owner, George was especially helpful. I would happily recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family.
