Buying a car from redlake trade was the biggest mistake that I have ever made the sales man had no idea what he was talking about made an offer on my car to part exchange over phone when I arrived wasn't even offered close to what was agreed no chance at all in getting a test drive on my way home after a second trip to redlake to pick up a car it broke down several times over heating engine kept dying every time I took my foot off the throttle and to top it all off after spending nearly a grand fixing the car it siezed up and died leaving me and my young family at the side of the motorway never again will I go to redlake or even suggest to anyone pay more for a dealership that knows a thing or two about cars and save you're self a lot of hastle an a lot of expense when the cars they sell go wrong when they buy a car they don't care about paperwork or its issues I know someone else who brought a car from redlake got pulled over on the way home as it turns out it was stolen a week before my friend picked it up so be very cautious pay a few quid for a vehicle check too could save a lot of money in the longer term stay away from redlake !!;

Hello, as this is the FIRST we have heard of any of these problems I would suggest that this is a fake review by a competitor. We have NEVER sold a stolen car as we Hpi check all cars, and we try to help with any problems with the cars. I also question why you would spend thousands having a car repaired for it to break again? Surely the repairing garage would have said of any other faults after spending this much money. We do care about issues hence the good reviews on here, we sell over 100 cars a month and try to help when ever we can. I would suggest that this is a cheap attempt to discredit us by a competitor, if not, Mr X, please free to call us directly to discuss the issues, as this is the first we have heard of any of the above!
My son bought a Peugeot 206 diesel from Redlake Trade Centre October 15. Excellent description and photos on website. Needed a car quickly as similar model written off. Car would not start but salesman used starter pack. Short test drive suspension problem solved on MOT. Car good value for money and was ready the following week as agreed as we live 100 miles away and needed to see the car when going on holiday and had to pick it up on the way home.
Bought a Jeep Cherokee from here in July 2015, the lad that sold it knew absolutely nothing about it, as it has just arrived. there was a very noticeable oil leak, we said were interested if this was fixed correctly. Turned up to take it away and shown paperwork as proof it has been fixed, got in the car and radio didnt work, told it was a fuse that needed changing. turns out it was broken. Had the car 6 months with various problems, then the oil started leaking again, took it to our local garage who were disgusted at the work that had APPARENTLY been carried out, had been a patch job and this eventually destroyed the car. ABSOLUTELY would NOT buy any car from here again, had been so honest with them that we had saved and saved to afford this Jeep and really needed a reliable car, they completely ripped us off and now left with huge garage bill and a car which has died less than 8 months after purchase, disgusted.
Got a good deal, found staff friendly and not pushy. The car I bought was £800 cheaper than the other garages around locally, and after driving for 4 months have had no problem, except couldn't find new MOT certificate, but rang Richard and he supplied me a new one free charge. Will defo go back when I need another car.
Went to look at a vehicle here and was amazed to discover that you can't test drive a vehicle unless you commit to buying it! I've never experienced that before and wouldn't advise anyone to invest a car they haven't driven. Obviously went elsewhere!
Bought a car from Redlake Trade Centre, car was clean and tidy and reasonably priced. they gave me a good price for mine (compared to some in the area) pick the car up 3 days later been cleaned, valeted, and a full safety check carried out which included them fitting 2 new tyres. 3 days after collection, the engine management light came on! I phoned them and dropped the car back. it turned out to be a problem with the wiring, they fixed it all under warranty and i collected the car 24 hours later. cannot fault these guys at all. nothing is to much trouble for them and there selection of cars is good and reasonably priced. will definitely use them again. Thanks to everyone at Redlake Trade Centre.
I purchased my A4 AVANT from Redlake Trade Centre a few months ago. It was a very relaxed, non pressurized environment, made me feel welcome to just have a look and do my own thing, when I was ready, they showed me the service history, they wouldn't budge on the price, but since it was the cheapest one within Devon and Cornwall I didnt argue. They agreed to put a full MOT on it for me and after 4 days they called me to say it was ready, on collection it was clean and tidy. I am very happy with Redlake Trade Centre, great service, will buy again from here. I personally don't see what all the fussy reviews are about.
Bought a used Nissan Navara from Redlake Trade Centre. I thought they had a good selection of cars but went to view this one particularly, had go and ask for more details, ask for the keys and ask for a test drive, but only after we had looked over the documentation. We weren't able to take it on the road to actually test the car properly, just around their forecourt. The salesman I dealt with wasn't exactly the most charismatic, didn't make me feel like a special customer, barely even made eye contact. But nonetheless it seemed like a good car and so went ahead with the purchase. They fixed an oil leak we had spotted but once we had collected it nearly 2 weeks after putting down the deposit, I noticed the tyres deflating a few hours after having driven it home and at £100 per tyre its not exactly what I wanted to be paying the day after collecting it. I have suspicions of other issues with it too which I am hoping to get repaired under the month's warranty but I can't say I'm holding out much hope. All in all, it's an ok car garage if you expect to buy a car that needs work, but I doubt I will be going back there again in the future.
Came to the yard to see some of the vehicles in my price range. The cars I saw were not clean, there are the residues of the last owners still on display inside the cars. A good number were in awful condition outside. I was on site for more than 30 mins looking around and was never even approached to ask how I was doing. Salesmen can be pushy, but this is the other extreme. Don't expect to drive away today if you would like to buy from here. All these cars appeared to need a lot of work to make them saleable. I drove away very disappointed.
WOW. What a Great selection of cars, came to Redlake Trade Centre with a budget and not having a clue on what I wanted. They showed me all the cars within my price range. Although the car i decided on wasn't clean and needed some work, i collected 3 days later all clean and sorted the issues they agreed to do. They seem a busy bunch of guys but You get what you pay for as they are a Trade Centre with no pushy salesmen technique.
