Found a great car at the right price. Communication was excellent and the car was delivered to my home without a glitch. Very professional service - just what I expected after reading all their reviews elsewhere. Redline Specialist Cars has a fantastic opinion of itself. The Redline salesman will immediately try to assure you that they are not the 'pressure' types and then immediately proceed into hard-sell mode. I drove 60 miles to see a yellow carrera but the bodywork was impossible to assess because the vehicle hadn't been cleaned since it was driven off-road. If you are the type to trust a used pencil bought from Redline, I wish you luck...I think you may need it.

Bought 2 cars now from proprietor of Redline Specialist Cars and both experiences has cost me a fortune in money on both occasions, the service was horrendous from a guy called rob apparently the owner, never returning calls and making false promises, Heard from several people to stay away from them as very unprofessional, and need to make other people aware .

It’s with my deepest regret that I feel I that have been forced to leave this negative review about Redline Specialist Cars. I bought my M5 4 months ago and was really impressed with the customer service at the sales point, but my car has been back to their garage on a number of occasion, every month since I purchased it. For the year of car and the amount I paid for it, it shouldn’t be going back to them for issues which should have been rectified before them releasing the car. This has left a negative feeling towards the car and was told to exchange it for another but now they have valued it for a lot less than what it is worth. Whilst having these issue I have had to leave several messages before them getting back to me and their customer service has gone down in my estimation which they are so proud of. I was told things at the point of sale which are not been adhered to and I am very disappointed with their “we are a business and here to make money” attitude. Unfortunately will not be considering them in the future.
Once again I found myself returning to Redline Specialist Cars and buying yet again another Audi A6 however this time it was an A6 Avant, absolutely beautiful and an awesome machine. I cannot recommend this dealer and staff highly enough. Jonathon P was fantastic throughout the deal. There was no pressure, no harassment upon showing interest in the vehicle. Excellent communication and replying promptly. Great knowledge and detailing the vehicle which I purchased over the phone. This has to be the best dealer I have ever had the pleasuof drawling with, I can certainly say that I will return when I need a new vehicle. A mixed bag about this Redline Specialist Cars Knaresborough. Good contact when enquiring about vehicle and up to the point they receive your cash, also when I was trying to get my money back. I had a problem with the engine within 6 days, tried to claim my money back under the consumer rights act 2015, they weren't keen on doing this, came up with excuses about how "it's a used car", "it's 9 years old" but when I was buying it, the vehicle was awesome. I know the law consumer rights covers you for 30 days to get your money back and a full refund if the vehicle is unfit for purpose, and you're are also covered for 6 months if a fault transpires as long as it not general maintenance and has to make the vehicle unfit for purpose. Also claimed it had to be a significant fault, and flashing dash warning lights don't mean there's is a fault so the owners manual must be wrong. Anyhow found common ground, got my own garage to investigate and prove the engine fault and paid for it fixing myself, as I liked the vehicle and was using the act to get them to listen. To be fair, I was offered a repair, but this came once I had already told them I had instructed my garage to repair it. It's also the used car game, people generally get rid of the cars when they foresee problems. Good communication ? Yeah to be fair, when they want your money and if they think they will have to pay some out. Would I buy from them again ? Nope there are better used garages with good reviews which I have also bought from, its unfortunate they had the vehicle I wanted. Would I trust them to do a repair ? Nope, apparently have full time mechanics but send their vehicles off site to do MOTs. Would have probably given them more stars if they offered to pay me for the repair or even for the parts, but you can't teach good customer service. Try avoid if you can or proceed with caution and read up on your rights, don't be fobbed off.

I bought a lovely car from Redline Specialisat Cars in Knaresborough. The car is great but I encountered a few issues and found that the salesman was a little stuck up when I tried to get them resolved, the classic lines around it being a 'used car' etc etc however my issues were relating to service promise on condition of wheels and bodywork which were not accurate. And also a warning light which appeared soon after the handover, again I resolved it but it was the general attitude once the car was sold and with me which disappointed me. I also noticed when in the showroom for my visit to have issues sorted that some of the cars, some over £100k, had very swirly paintwork and didn't look to have been detailed to the level of expect for supercars at super prices. This was very visible on cars inside under artificial light. Great set up but aftercare needs to improve, and please call back to avoid the need for constant chasing. All considered, I'd still buy from there, just fully check out the car on handover.

Terrible customer service - just cant be bothered returning calls - they dont build the cars and hence never had a problem with the car an Audi R8 so the only thing they offer is customer service -which gets ZER0 GOD help you if there was a problem with the car - Bought a lot of really nice cars in the past 20 years and this place scores NIL Points .
