Bought a car off reeds bobby said the car will be inspected before I drive it away the following week! That did not happen! They fobbed me off with an inspection letter that was done in March, I bought the car in June! I asked ari where the cars been for three months and he has ignored my email! I’ve had to replace all four tyres and replace the exhaust which was blowing! And buy a wheel nut because the car didn’t come with one, I’m now over £700 down thanks to these utter cowboys! The car I part exchanged was in better condition then the over 7 grand one I bought and to top it off they haven’t put my part exchange car up for sale probably because they know it’s in such good condition unlike the cars their actually selling! I’m not the only one who’s had problems! and now I know why bobby was so desperate for a good review!

Purchased a VW golf from reeds motors over a year ago now, it’s almost 10 years old but honestly I haven’t had a single issue. Happy with my purchase and happy with reeds motors, lovely chaps!
Bought a qashqai from Reeds but had to spend an extra £1000 on full service, replacing cvt transmission fluid, steering rack rod ends, gearbox mounting, oil seal gasket, bulbs & labour. Discovered hole in exhaust. However after 7 weeks without cd, radio, SatNav or reverse cam they did finally replace faulty car stereo with cheap replacement car stereo. Can now not use steering wheel controls or satnav without USB cable!

Had to go to small claims court after brakes failed two days after collection, then broke down and was deemed dangerous by a main dealer inspection. We had the car for 19 days. Took a year to get money back and cost a lot in court fees. They don’t inspect the cars before sale.
I bought my bmw from reeds motors and they told me what they have done on car and this review after 3 week of purchase I never had any problem . I will recommend them

Recently bought a lovely vehicle from this dealership and it all went smoothly. When I called to arrange a time to collect they were very friendly from the get go. When I arrived they were really helpful and had the car all ready for me to go, didn't make me feel uncomfortable in any way and did not try to push anything more to buy. I would definitely recommend these to a friend.
The manager and everyone at Reeds Motors seemed nice at first, but honestly, as soon as anything goes wrong, they go into full rogue trader mode. The car I bought (38000 miles, 9 years old, £4500) had an engine fault which rendered the car undrivable from day one. Within 2 weeks this fault repeated and caused me to break down on the M25. When I tried to reject the car - as was my consumer rights - the formerly nice manager became hostile and refused to honor this flat out. They tried to scare me out of pursuing it, and the only option they wanted me to see was taking it to their friends garage. To add to this, they lied outright about the car being legal to drive for 2 weeks. It was missing an indicator repeater which the RAC informed me was ILLEGAL. The manager had outright told me that it was legal because "some cars don't even have it" - pointing to a car which the repeater wasn't on the mirror. I ended up chargebacking. Avoid them. Premium price for literal auction scrap cars.

I bought a Kia Picanto from Reeds Motors about a year and a half ago, being told there was no finance on the car and it was all in good working order. It turns out there was a contract purchase on the vehicle, and we were being chased by a finance company about a year later who were trying to repossess it. We managed to sort it out in the end, but we pretty much had to do all the leg work. Not to mention that after an MOT a year later, the brakes AND battery needed to be replaced...
