Got a car from Rhondda Motor Company two weeks ago. Fair price and no hassle sale. Even fixed a slight issue with a rear wiper with no fuss and even supplied a smart car whilst it was being fixed. What more could you ask for
Visited a few garages of the years, none felt more relaxed than this! Wasn’t hassled by any cocky salesmen! Cars well presented. Ended up buying a cracking little Peugeot 107 for my daughter. After reading the reviews I thought I’d get my local garage to check it after the new MOT. The words of my mechanic, “fair and true MOT for its age and mileage” he said don’t believe everything you hear, there’s far to many mechanics quick to judge and take money off you! My advice, if you feel concerned take a mechanic with you to see the vehicle! They guys in Rhondda Motor Company was true to their word. Thanks for looking after us. Top guys 👍👍

Had a lovely car from this dealership, it was immaculate inside and out and a really good price. The staff were so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough. Had a small problem with car in the first week and they got it repaired the same day for me. Highly recommend this dealership and the excellent customer I received from Dan.

My daughter bought a Fiat 500 from here part exchanged it with my Citroen for £3225. The MOT was clean “no advisories” yet within a day of having the car, having only done 29 miles in it (journey home from Rhondda!) a red warning light appeared on the dash and we had black smoke pouring from the exhaust. I took it to my local garage in Abergavenny (MOT garage) and they inspected it. They found the car to be in a dangerous condition and said it should never have passed an MOT. Amongst the faults found it had a terrible long term oil leak. The emissions test would have failed it as it had a constant black and blue fumes for more than 5 mins. Rusty worn brake pads. Corrosion on the rear axel (would be on the floor in a month) amongst a list of other smaller advisories. We had them write it officially so we could sent it to Rhondda Motor Company. Thankfully as we were still within the 30 day period of being able to return the car we were in a stronger position. I spoke to Dan who sold it to us and at first he argued. He refused a refund and said he had the right to inspect and “fix” the car first. I refused. A phone call to trading standards and a threat to report the MOT testing garage he uses which is YNYSCYNON MOT CENTRE to DVSA and the police for issuing the dodgy MOT made him change his mind. He was incredibly defensive and has a well rehearsed argument for everything however, so be prepared. Ring Catherine at Rhondda Trading Standards as she knows him well. Long story short, after a week of delaying, arguing and insisting we gag the money transferred via instant BACS transfer (and not accepting that it would take 3-4 days after returning the vehicle to refund!) We got our money back 👏🏻 We still had a month of stress. My daughter had no car and because of this we wasted our time, energy and money on the whole transaction. I have no doubts the Fiat will be back up for sale soon for some other poor person to buy. I will still be reporting the MOT fraud after seeing all the reviews here saying the same thing, so it’s clearly not a one off! . I’m sure Dan will comment below arguing his side as is his right, but I will upload my proof of purchase to back up my story so you can be assured the review is honest and true - anyone with half a brain cell would give this garage a very VERY wide berth. If you’ve bought a car recently from them get it checked independently ASAP is my advice.

To confirm we did not REFUSE the refund. We made arrangements to get the vehicle collected from you. However you wanted us to refund you the money before collecting the vehicle. And as i explained we would have to be there to do the refund. We are sorry you had a bad experience. But to clarify there was never any issue about you having your money back.
Great place to buy a car, very friendly, reasonably priced and a great service all round. Will definitely be back I can’t fault all the staff for all there hard work with me today in sorting the paperwork and helping me choose a car! Thank you once again Dan & the team!! 5 ⭐️

Went into look at a vehicle on their website. Car as described, picked up following day, cleaned, taxed and MOT'd. Finance was straightforward. No problems with car 6months later. Easy.
