I visited Richlee in Billericay within the last week or so, the sales man ‘don’ was chirpy and helpful, was looking at trying out an automatic Abarth I had my eyes on and have had my eyes on since they posted it, I hadn’t driven an automatic abarth before and heard a lot of mixed reviews so before I went and spent nearly £17k on a car without financing it, of course I wanted to give it a go. The automatic wasn’t for me, was a bit laggy no fault of the dealership it was just not the car for me and I knew I would prefer a manual. The sales man asked mine and my partners opinion on the automatic gearbox and got defensive and rude when we advised we didn’t like how the gearbox worked. I advised I was also interested in one of the manuals they had but he wouldn’t give me the keys to look around it as he got all up tight and rude. He lost a sale that day but i would never buy my car from that place. The cars are overpriced and not even checked over before allowing people on test drives (also test drove a car there previously and the wheel bearings had gone, when I advised the salesman if this his response was ah well we haven’t done our checks on it yet, baring in mind it had been up for sale for around 2/3 weeks. Steer clear and spend your heard earned money somewhere where the staff are more polite and willing to help.

I went to Richlee Motor Co Billericay to look for a car for my elderly parents and the staff there were superb. They treated my parents with great respect, even offering to deliver the car to them and to stay and make sure they got familiar with the car and were confident with the controls. The sale went very smoothly indeed and my parents are delighted with their car. I don't ever leave reviews - but I am going to just this one time as I think it is well deserved. Put a deposit on a car but had to leave to circumstances changing, Richlee Motor Co then refusing to give deposit back! Absolute con men, thief's disgusting way to run a business!

After signing the finance document, they decided I owed more money. I refused and took it to the trading standards as they were trying to rip me off. Nothing but trouble with this company! Jerry, the manager at the Richlee Motor Co Rayleigh branch is a really nasty piece of work, out the phone down on me a number of times, I was only talking to him in a quiet tone but he didn’t like that a woman had more brains than he wanted. Also, emailed the director of the company. He didn’t even bother to respond. Myself and my family will never trade with this company again.

Bought a car from Richlee Motors Rayleigh on 8/05/2019 from Colin Selisko The experience was a credit to Colin and Richlee Motors as we were made to feel comfortable relaxed and special, they couldn't do enough to help us in the purchase of our new motor. Would recommend Richlee Motors to Everyone

Have been very impressed with Richlee Motor Co since purchasing my car from them a month ago. Noticed a scratch on the bodywork, took it in to them and they did a scuff repair for free, dealt with Colin who was extremely helpful.

Visited Richlee Motor Co at Rayleigh on 20/10/2018 after seeing car advertised on Autotrader. Phoned first before visiting as had to travel from Norfolk. Very helpful staff especially Jerry W. No pushy sales people. Fair price given on my part exchange very happy with the VW Passat I purchased from them. Jerry even replaced the missing part of the tow bar. Jerry was very helpful in answering my questions. Car was ready for me to collect a week later as I requested, fully serviced and cleaned. Jerry W is a credit to the company.
