The whole experience started off fine, which it normally does when someone is trying to sell you an expensive car. However, it's the aftersales experience which has left me feeling that I will never buy another Hyundai as long as I live. In summary, in the 5 years we've had the car (Tucson), it has been taken to the garage numerous times for various issues, the most common one being severe problems with the spark plugs. They kept failing and they didn't know why. They even accused us at one point of putting the wrong fuel in the car. They still don't really know what the issue was, but it's out of warranty now so now it won't be covered. The icing on the cake has been that the exhaust has just split in two, not because of our fault, but according to a local garage 'due to poor quality, it snapped cleanly in half.' So out of warranty (by a month) we now need to pay over £600 for a new exhaust on a 5 year old car.

I had a highly disappointing experience with the service at the Hyundai dealership. The employee responsible for communication between the workshop and customers treated me dismissively, lacked knowledge, and displayed a complete lack of professionalism. My inquiries were often ignored, and the information I received was frequently incorrect. This caused me significant stress and frustration. The only person deserving of a positive mention is the manager Martyn Buckby.The company’s policy seems solely focused on profit and benefits for the company, with absolutely no benefits for the customer.
From sales to services all are useless Couldn’t even put my car back together correctly causing me to pay another dealer to do so and even lefted parts off

We went to look for a car and we spoke to a lovely salesman Deepak Bhatti he was very understanding found a car within our price range was honest and not pushy like others we have dealt with at other company's the car was ready when he told us it would be all round brilliant service we are very happy with our touson

Bad after sales tried to sale me a car over the phone the day after my husband died told them it wasn't the right time heard nothing since not even to tell me my first MOT as due and for a service thank you
Just collected our new i20n line from Richmond southampton. The service from start to finish was first class. Maddy and Ali were so so helpful and very professional. There was no hard sell. And the coffee was great!!. This is our 3rd car from here. No problems recommending you guys to friends and family. Thanks again.

i20 has a windscreen wiper fault, earliest appointment 2 weeks away, That in it's self is bad enough, £75 just to diagnose fault, car taken in on Friday, fault confirmed that the wiper motor requires replacing, customer service quote for the cost of replacement motor £150 +Vat, plus fitting, ok. Then told that wiper motor cannot be fitted as they close in an hour, after a brief chat, they say they can fit it Saturday, OK. Then a phone call Saturday morning to say that we had been miss quoted, the Wiper Motor cost was actually £507.00 and car would not be back until Tuesday, this is unbelievable, who are they employing that make horrendous mistakes like this, this is unforgivable. I was unwilling to be taken for a ride by Richmond Hyundai, I asked not to carry out the repair after the outrageous miss quote and that I would be taking it else wear for repair. Also I told them the engine management light had come on, they cleared the fault, said it was an old error code, on asking what was the fault code, no answer, I also had the TPS light come on, they said it was a nail in the tyre which they claimed to have repaired, needless to say when I picked the car up at mid day today, the TPS light was still on. Our family have purchased 4 cars from Richmond Hyundai, needless to say we will not be returning after this appalling service and attitude towards it's customers.

I brought my car to the garage at 8am for annual service and found that my left front tyre has according to them irreparable punture, they said they are going to change the 2 tyres? Not clear why 2...charging me aroun >£300... Which I said no, i was at work while discussing it, and at the end of coversation the staff said that car will be available by 530pm and i said ok, but not clear to me what shehad said at the end. When im about to get my car.. They changed the 2 tyres and said that i agreed. It would be a bad communication as theres no summary of conversation done to emphasize what they are saying. Poor support from the manager who are very stiff and said can not help me with that situation. Portsmouth hyundai, very nice staff when you are buying but post sale service? Very poor... Not recommended.
