Having changed cars practically ever 2.5 years over the last 15 years, we have dealt with a fair amount of car dealership. Marshall Land Rover in Didcot/Abingdon have simply been superbe with their customer service. I was looking for quite a steep upgrade from a mini to a velar or evoque and had gone round benchmarking our options. Alex, who attended to us was first class in pulling the deal together for us… going above and beyond with a genuine genuine desire to help. I could not recommend this dealership highly enough!

I have been dealing with Marshalls since they took over Ridgeway motors. That was the worst move ever by JLR. I have never had good service, hence I leased all my Jags through Nationwide Leasing. I’m now interested in a Jaguar I-Pace, so arranged a test drive via their web site and confirmed by phone. I turned up and nobody Knew about my appointment, they did find me a car to drive, but it wasn’t the model I was looking for. I have now decided on the new Velar, twice I have contacted them about a test drive, the first one they got back to me but the Velar was not yet in the show rooms, so they promised to phone me when it became available, they never did. I contacted them again recently to get a test drive, but they never got back to me. If this is the state of their dealerships. No wonder their not selling many cars. I think in general dealerships are pretty awful, but Marshals are just the worst.

I was invited down out of my way to the showroom and agreed an appointment. The guy couldn’t even be bothered to turn up to meet me and passed me on to a business manager who nothing about cars and was only there to do the finance deal despite me saying I needed some help with the choice of car. A total wasted journey and such a shame as I had £35,000 cash to spend. There are dealerships who really do want you to buy from them and will give you a lot better care. No consideration for peoples time.

I placed a £1k deposit on a £100,000 Range Rover SVR. The vehicle had just been washed off with no detailing baked on flies on the front bumper, grilles, headlights & carbon mirror covers it was also dirty inside & the wheels were disgusting with brake dust pitting. But the worst thing was somebody had buffed the bonnet & had buffed through the lacquer on the carbon fibre Unprofession service. I had to rent another car to get home.

The vehicle was in poor shape when I viewed it, I asked them if it had been resprayed and they told me it hadn't when it clearly had been, the car started juddering on the drive home and getting the eventual issues fixed was a big hassle, I recommend going elsewhere to be honest.

Poor level customer service. Poor level after care service Poor level of service once you purchased your car. Within the five weeks i owned this car i only had it 2 weeks as the rest of the time it was back at the dealership. In my experience this is the worst Garage and Brand i have ever used/brought.
