Absolute cowboys do not bother wasting your time with this dealership. As soon as they have your money they couldn’t care less-no after sales no loyalty and complete lies the whole way through. Not sure how they’re still allowed to operate under the VW name. Such a shame as they are great cars just do not buy them from here. Sales execs are rude and not interested and sales managers also only care about making the most money possible and not actually giving you a good service. Please go elsewhere if seriously looking to buy a car.

The sales lady Niamh was excellent, she answered all our questions and showed us everything we needed to know about the car. She was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The sale to us of a nearly new VW Polo last week and yesterday (16th October) was handled by Adil Javed of the Reading branch of Marshall’s. He managed the whole business, including a short test drive, efficiently, courteously and helpfully. He explained matters clearly, and we are very pleased with our purchase.

The Used Car Manager, Richard Grose, I don't believe he what customer service is. A rude and aggressive man who shouldn't be allowed to deal with people. The whole team have zero idea of communication. Ignoring potential and actual customers is, it seems, standard procedure The car hadn't been cleaned even though I was made to wait while it was supposedly valeted. They missed the dried chips and drink stains over the plastic of the seats or all the other bits of food and dirt. The outside looked like it had been threatened with a damp cloth, not even cleaned with one. They only had 2-3 days notice of when I would be there so clearly their time management needs work. The sat nav still isn't working still, some 4 days after purchase, as they forgot to put the card in and still haven't posted it out. So until that arrives we can't use the vehicle for its intended purchase. The some of the mats from the car are missing even though the advert said they were in the car. My advice - avoid like the plague!

I wish I had read these reviews before deciding to by a Used VW from Marshalls Reading. They're just interested in the sale and and the after sales is non-existent. Despite purchasing the car in Dec 23 and contacting them numerous times, an issue still remains outstanding - 8 months later!!!!! In fact they don't even reply anymore over something relatively straightforward too. AND if you do buy from them, DO NOT purchase any extra plans e.g. service plans etc. You'll only be casing like me and be disappointed. No surprise to read that they're pretty much the worst car dealership in Reading!!

Jamie the sales person was very good I spoke to him about buying my vw shuttle he give me a good fair price over the phone subject to veiwing and brought it thank you
It is such a shame as a previous visit had been very positive, on this visit I found the place awful to access, parking non existent and the some of reception staff staff rude, demeaning and unhelpful, it took 5 visits 3 stays of the car over 5 days one for 2 days next for 1 day then one of 2 days for them to not fix a simple problem, all the time saying you need a diagnosis, this seems to be a machine that throws out random things that it says need doing that do nothing to correct the problem just generate income for them. This problem could have been fixed by an experienced vehicle electrician very easily which they do not seem to have any more. I can honestly say I never want to have to use them again so will not be replacing my Golf with another VW and the thought of buying an electric car from them is just too scary.

On the 7 of October my son reserved used car unfortunately until ( 27th of October ) still didn’t receive a refund ! After numerous chasing many staff members ( asking for phone call ) ! Today I have called twice asking for a call back by Alex to sort this out , no call ! Well I am going to sent now formal complaint to Volkswagen! This is not acceptable any longer ! Ignoring customers and not responding and their calls !
