Paid £17000 for a car on Friday. Had to return it within an hour as it had a fault. Supposed to have been checked and serviced - obviously not! Told to leave it and mechanics would look at it Saturday am. Couldn’t repair as needed parts so loaned a crappy Dacia Duster. They phoned today and wanted that car back. No offer to collect it. We have to take it in. No idea when we will get the car we paid for. No idea if it will be in a fit state to drive. Buyers beware. Look elsewhere!
Absolutely terrible service from start to finish with Right Car Renault. 1) Booked a service and MOT online, despite confirmation email; Right car stated this was never booked. 2) After organising a courtesy car, the service desk stated this also was not done, and failed to provide one leaving me stuck with two children. 3) The service department lost a rubber protective seal from the charging port (electric car) and when I complained, they stated it was never there to begin with. 4) Right car sent a text at 4pm stating the car was ready to collect, but when I got there at 5pm it still was not ready. There has been a complete lack of professionalism at each contact I've had with Right Car, and would absolutely recommend going farther afield to a more reputable garage if you need to use a Renault main dealer. York and Lincoln are both good options if you specifically need electric car servicing.
We were overcharged by £500 by THIS company we paid £9000 cash and was charged £9.500 with all their extras! DONT GO THERE

Well where do I start with Right Car Renault? I purchased the car on the 9th March and selected the 1st of April as my delivery date due to my old car’s insurance not running out until then. What a mistake that was, I was told it would be ready first thing, to then arrive and it not be done and to come back at 12 roughly. I phoned up at roughly about 12 to ensure it was ready and once again, wasn’t ready and was just getting told excuse after excuse and that it now wouldn’t be ready until later on in the afternoon. Baring in mind I had plans due to it being my birthday and they showed no remorse whatsoever and acted asif they didn’t care, didn’t even get an apology. when it was finally ready to pick up at half 5 I got there and realised that the wax wasn’t cleaned off properly and the valet was average. And after getting messed about that much to then realise that they didn’t even put any petrol in it whatsoever and the light was on when I bought it clearly proved my suspicions. Unprofessional, lazy and incompetent from a few staff in my opinion. Glad I finally have the car after all that messing about.

My first purchase from Right Car Renault was through a salesman who pocketed my car tax money & was subsequently sacked. I am now considering taking the financial agreement to the Fraud Squad as l believe there are irregularities. On purchase of my second car from them l believe they have lied over replacing a part that was subject to a recall by Ford last year & seriously question the integrity of its staff. I believe that l have been treated to utter contempt by its staff at the Beverley branch & l intend taking legal action against the company for failure of service, lying to me, possible fraudulent acticivity & breach of DPA that l will be reporting to the ICO. I summary, stay clear as this is a disguting unethical company & l will never buy another car from them.

Not worth a star. First off, I arranged service with right car only to find out when I went to the dealership for the warrantee checks that the right service had not been conducted including the wrong part being used for the oil filter. After investigation, apparently the company they used to arrange the service was no longer in use and it was an error on their part. I then arrange for a second service to get the outstanding items done. I always get a lift to my place of work before the car of service and the car brought to me when service is complete. However I was called at 17.15 to be told it was ready and when I asked if it could be brought to me, I was told no and that I had to come collect before 6pm as this is when they close including other departments ie sales. Interestingly same as before, their website state they close at 7pm. Will not recommend using them for anything.
