Travelled 2 and a half hours to look at a vehicle which was advertised as superb condition,when I arrived I caught them in the act just finishing off doing a respray on the side of the vehicle,also they said it had got full service history but had only one stamp in the book,would not buy a car off these in a million years

Bought a car off them which had no end of mechanical issues identified after the first day of driving contacted Jamie as the vehicle came with 6 months warranty to be told to take it to a garage to be checked over and then we could settle on a price for repairs which I refused and sent vehicle back after nearly 2 weeks of having the car at the garage repairs still not sorted so had to send it back again to rivelin motors and was kept for nearly 3 weeks at this point in contmplateing just getting my money back, eventually got car back over the next few weeks more issues starter to arrise and the car had just had an mot when checked after the mot found front tyre bold but no mention on mot so that was a false mot managed to get most of my money back but I strongly urge anyone looking for a decent motor mechanically and looks wise not to buy a car from rivelin motor company they are nice on the sale date the a holes when it comes to repairs or needing help stay away I wish when I saw bad reviews I stayed away.

Travelled 2 hours to look at the car that was for sale at Rivelin Motor Company. Staff were polite and professional. After buying the car I had a few minor problems which Jamie the owner quickly rectified and put my mind at ease. Friendly reliable garage. Would highly recommend.

Bought a BMW 6 series from this 'dealer', it looked great and seemed to be in excellent condition, but how wrong was I. Had it just one day and took it to BMW in Warrington for a health check and found that the car sold to me was in a terrible state and was not roadworthy and should not have passed an MOT, which it had 2 days earlier!!! BWM did a video of the inspection and quoted me approximately £3000 in repairs. I got in touch with Rivelin motors and told them I wanted a refund, but after discussion with the C.A.B. and Jamie, we agreed on a settlement figure to have the repairs done, but almost 7 months later , after many emails and lies from Rivelin Motor Company, still not received a penny. Will be getting back in touch with Citizens Advice Bureau as they lodged this complaint with Trading Standards when I rang them for advice, and reporting the MOT centre for issuing questionable certificates. Don't consider using this dealer.

I recently bought a Citroen C1 from Rivelin Motors. One owner, very low mileage for its age and in very good condition at a fair price. Unfortunately, after a couple of months, the clutch failed (the previous owner obviously hadn't been a careful one!). The car was still under Rivelin's guarantee and they responded very quickly. They collected the car, had the fault remedied and delivered it back to me all within a week.

I bought a 2008 Vauxhall corsa at the beginning of February,the car was £2800. The car was making a loud sound when at went below 2000 revs but I never thought anything of it. Only 3 days of having the car and the handle snapped they said as a good will gesture they would fixed it free of charge rubbish it should've been under warranty anyway.but that was only the beginning 2 weeks after that both my windscreen wipers snapped off when I went to get it fixed they said it had rusted that bad so I paid to get that fixed which cost me £57 all together. Then on the 23rd June 2016 I got in my car at work and the clutch felt different so I took it to the garage and they said my clutch is on its way out so I booked it in to get it fixed and when it went in I didn't get it back for 4 days due to not only the clutch had gone but the hose on the engine, the fluid for the brakes and also gears and then to top it all off the master cylinder had gone which the garage said it was no fault of my own it's was a prolonging problem but all of that cost me £415. So 2 weeks later I got home from work and noticed I had a flat tyre and had to call RAC out to change my tyre and when he came out he said that the tyre had completely gone to the point where the metal wires were sticking out and there was a hole he said my tracking was out. When he put the spare tyre on he said that the tyre I had was illegal due to it being a smaller size than the other one and needed to get it fixed ASAP! As he was checking all my other tyres he noticed that the back tyres were snow tyres!! He said that for one they should be on the front ( as its a front wheel drive ) and two there's no need for them as the weather was getting better when I bought the car. So the next day I took it to the garage and for the tyre it cost me £55 and the tracking £25 as it was in the garage they asked me how long my car had been loud for and I replied since I bought it. They said that the timing chain was going, I asked them how much it would roughly cost and they said around £500. Well that was the last straw I got intouch with Rivlin Motor Company who I bought the car from and explained everything they said as a good will gesture they will do it for £80 (which is the cost of the pack for the timing chain and the head gasket) and replace my spare ILLEGAL TYRE and my two back snow tyres I took it down on the Sunday and got it back the Monday afternoon, when I arrived they didn't change my spare tyre their excuse was that it is the right tyre and they didn't know they had to change the snow tyres but when I said they promised me they would then then said I would have to make another appointment!! When I got it back I went straight to the garage to check it as I don't trust them one little bit and when I took it down all they did was change the timing chain and nothing else! As you are aware I am fuming with this as I have spent £622 so far and I will need to spend another £500 to get it done which for a £2800 I will have spent £1192 on top just to fix the car what I have only had 4 months! To top it all off its gone in for its MOT today and the rear passenger shock absorber has gone so it's failed and it will cost me £75 to get replaced. Don't get me wrong I now with secondhand cars it is where and tear but really 4 months old no warranty they definitely saw me coming I am 19 years old just passed my test,all I wanted was a car what was safe,I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them,they are cowboys,don't know how they sleep at night With the death trap they sold me, please please please don't buy used cars from then

I will never ever return to this company again! I purchased a car last year in November 14 by December I had broken down water was leaking into my sump! My dad spent all Christmas repairing it costing me more than 500 pounds in repairs! After contacting the company asking about warranty as this happened 5 weeks after I purchased it they said there was only a months warranty on it but all other cars advertised had 3 months warranty on them when pointing this out they said the recently changed there policy and mine only came with 1 months if it had been a week earlier they would have been able to do something about it! Since then I have had no end of problems with it and I am now scrapping it. Customer service was appalling I got laughed at and the phone put down on me I am only a young woman so I didn't know where I stood on getting advice or help but I will never return to this place ever again and I strongly advise no one else does. I was unable to take my grandad to most of his hospital appointments I put my trust in Rivelin Motor Company and all I got was a rubbish car and rubbish customer service. £4000 down the swanny, I would have rather had a three wheeler.

After viewing 3 of the particluar car I wanted I was relieved that after visiting Rivelin Motor Company I made a purchase some 350 miles later!! Condition wise it was superb however there was one service missing in the service history but a negotiation with Jamie the owner sorted this, so overall well chuffed. Nice friendly chaps and no bull!
