Bought ford focus 1.6 diesel in october, with 12 months mot, 3 mths warrenty. Needed a new alternater after a couple days, so got the car recovered to nearesr rac recognised garage. On looking at the car it also had excess carbon on the injector seals and fuel leak. Also told turbo was on its way out. After having the seals done was quoted more than the car was worth to get the turbo and other work done. Recovered to riverview at expense to myself to get the work done under their warrenty. Riverview said theres nothing wrong with the car, just needed fuel system bleeding. Gave the car back a day later as it had no power. Rivervierw said it was the egr valve, but for my piece of mind changed the turbo for me ( because i had told them it needed changing, and they apparantly did it for my piece of mind, you dont do a job which costs the better part of a grand to keep a customer happy if the turbo was actually ok ). Car sat on drive for a few weeks while i was out the country, used it for another week, then had a 70mph blow out due to fuel contamination on tyre from excessive fuel leak in engine bay ( as stated by rac when vehicle recovered ) car declared beyond economical repair. Car owned for less than 3 months, spent half that time in the garage, only did 1647 miles since the injector seals were replaced. Riverview refuse liabilty, i nearly died, car written off, thanks a lot. Would not recommend this garage to anyone. STAY CLEAR OF THIS GARAGE.

After reading this review, we feel we need to put the correct facts in place. The car was purchased and taken to another garage after two months. This garage worked on the car and then could not get it started. We were asked to fix the fault that they had created which we agreed to do without question, even though we are not responsible for faults created by a third party. We were not asked for our assistance in the first instance. We got the car started and then replaced the turbo as a good will gesture as the same garage who could not get it started had incorrectly stated it required replacement. We did this to give peace of mind at no cost to ensure satisfaction. As a further consequence of the work undertaken by the 'cowboys' who could not get the car started, the car subsequently developed a fuel leak, which was then claimed had caused an accident. We have gone far and beyond what is required to try and ensure satisfaction and this review is very unfair. The saying 'cannot do right for doing wrong springs to mind on this occasion '. We are sorry for any disappointment caused but feel you are venting your frustrations at the wrong garage as we did not cause your problems and had we been asked to assist from the outset, we would of been happy to carry out the work in a professional manner.
I bought an Astra here towards the end of November. I took the car away thinking everything was Ok but after 4 days I had a bad grinding noise on my rear driver side wheel. I had to take the car to a local garage as it was a 50 mile drive to Riverview, it cost me £100 for 2 new brake pads and discs. They never told me about the low pads and they wore into the discs. I received 75% of my deposit back as I needed to send the other half of my V5 through in the post, which I have. I have heard nothing back from the garage regarding the brakes or the rest of my deposit. I have sent a number of emails about this but heard absolutely nothing. Poor aftercare of the car and they seem to be disinterested as soon as they get the money for the car, even though they were nice and friendly when I first went to the garage. Won't be back.
Excellent from initial viewing to recent visit to have service after 12 months. Other garages may wish to take note of their excellent cars and service !
I bought a Vauxhall Insignia from here back in August, The car was quite clean and in good condition, Had a couple of issues but they have been sorted fairly quickly and its been okay since. the dealers have been helpful and I would recommend this dealership.

Bought a citron c4. Process was quick and hassle free with friendly saleswoman. Had a few issues with car, couple scratches a bit of mould from the car not drying after valet. Also knocking noise when breaking. We spoke to the owner and he was very apologetic and did everything he could to get this sorted. Car was in and out of the garage in a day. Very good service, customer focuses and professional. Would use again
