After reading a number of negative reviews about Riviera I was not too eager to buy a car from them however after I spoke to Richard, it got me thinking again. They had the exact car that I was looking for so felt I needed to give them the benefit of the doubt and following my visit to their showroom, I could see that they are not a shabby outfit! Richard made my family and I feel at ease when we went to view the car and we had an unaccompanied test drive which for us was enough to secure the deal. Richard was very helpful and took notice of the few little niggles that needed sorting and Lee was extremely proficient in getting these sorted for us. Even after bringing the car home, a couple of things needed sorting and the car was booked in with no quibbles and the issues rectified. Of course selling cars is their business however I believe that they genuinely want their customers to be delighted with their purchase and they go the extra mile to make that happen. I would definitely recommend them and will look to buy another car from the team when that time eventually comes. Thanks Riviera and especially Richard and Lee 👍

This companys service is great when they want to sell you a car, but my experience of service straight afterwards is very different. They promised me wheel caps which i was told were posted but i never recieved. After chasing, all i received back was a message saying they had been sent, they clearly had not. I was also promised a hard copy service book, which for a Porsche is very desirable and was part of the sale agreement. After several emails, phone calls and messages, i have not recieved confirmation this will be delivered. They have not replied to one email. The car came looking great, but looking further into it, there were several things missing and it had clearly had a tough life. My advise would be, buyer be very careful if dealing with this company

Absolutely everything in the review above this one is 100% correct, thanks to other people’s reviews I JUST managed to avoid being ripped off by Richard and Riviera. I paid a deposit on a Range Rover which had been fitted with an SVO aftermarket body kit by Riviera. I requested a video walk round of the vehicle, a very poor video was received and the words ‘there’s nothing to make you aware of, the cars in mint condition’. Riviera delivered the vehicle to me... the body kit was so poorly fitted, it was melted around the exhausts, there was sandpaper like scratches on the side skirts, scratches on the interior, the car, now relisted, was a mess!! I was given stories, lies and excuses for not returning my money to me, eventually I did receive this back but not without a fight. The reviews I read shortly before taking delivery of the vehicle highlighted the areas to look at on the vehicle, I thank you for this, I’m just sorry you haven’t been so lucky in dodging a bullet.

Do not buy from this shower of excrement. By a country mile the worst dealership in England, They will sell you a damaged car with a hidden past and lie about it. Richard will actively avoid your calls after they've sold you a heap. The receptionist will absolutely lie and say he's not available and you will never recieve a phonecall back. Thanks Riviera for your lower than a snakes belly service and the heap of Dung you sold me, thanks for not phoning me back about any of my concerns after countless phone calls. I'll take this one on the chin but I wouldn't as much as buy a tonka toy from these deceitful, thieving scumbags in a million years!
Bought a car and had it delivered. The car was sold with 12 months MOT. When I tried to tax it the MOT had expired. After a lot of persuasion the sellers agreed to pay for the MOT and subsequent repairs. I had a £800 bill. Still no money. Sellers point blank refused to take the car back even though I was well within my rights to have a full reimbursement. So disappointed as I was excited to get my new car and these people have ruined it for me

Bought a 37k Range Rover. Had to return it several times. The exhausts were dangerously close to the body kit which they had fitted and they heated the rear bumper up so much that it warped. I paid £400 for the repairs after Riviera told me that there was nothing wrong with it and that someone had probably run into the back of me. The independent body shop that carried out the repair reported that the exhausts had been sawn off by Riviera and were still dangerously close to the body kit. Riviera have refused to refund the £400. Apart from this the paint is flaking off the front bumper, the body kit is badly fitted and doesn't line up with anything, parts keep falling off, the front wheels grind against the wheel arch when I turn the steering wheel and the last time I picked it up they hadn't tightened up one of the wheels. I had to pull over on my way home as there was a terrible noise coming from the wheel. When I tried to tighten it up I realised that The wheel brace doesn't fit the wheels that they fitted. The staff are quite rude and haven't been honest. If it was possible to give them zero stars I would do it.

Went to view a White Audi RS3 Saloon (YB19 FPH) that was in terrible condition! All scratched inside, seats looked stabbed, passenger door painted a different colour (obviously had an accident) they didn't do a very good job of painting it either as I found splashes of paint on the other side of the car! Also tried to cover it with dirt so we couldn't see that the colour didn't match the original paint!! Bumper/bonnet didn't line up, also they took the car a drive for 15 minutes as soon as we appeared as if they were trying to heat the engine before we got in, which rang alarm bells! Car supposedly had only done 2000 miles therefore had either been crashed and sat waiting to be repaired or had a mileage blocker! Very suspicious and was priced at a premium aswell! Salesman Richard allowed us to travel from Scotland and said the car was in "Tip Top" condition!! When I pointed all the faults out , Richard advised he had never seen it all as it had been in the "showroom" and it was "dark". He also told us that the car had 3 previous owners and 2 of them were brothers whom they bought the car off, but after pointing out these faults when we got there, he seemed to have tripped himself up and said the car was bought from Audi ... unsure if he can be trusted! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!! Will tell you everything you want to hear! Didn't even offer petrol money for the wasted 8 hour journey! Also had to ask for my deposit back!
