We visited Robin Ward because we needed advice from a specialist, on the right Hilux model for our needs (we found Toyota dealerships lacked expertise / experience). Kate my wife is a registered retrainer of race horses (so the truck was needed towing / feeding / yard work all terrains all weathers) and we have 4 dogs to boot, so we needed the right vehicle. Robin was super generous with his time and answered all our questions, helping us to work through the options and mods needed. We chose an 2020 extracab. The vehicle was delivered quickly and fitted with the extras we needed very efficiently. Thanks to Robin we have the perfect vehicle for our needs! Stefan and Kate Mieczkowski

We travelled for two and half hours to meet Robin Ward and he greeted us with a very warm welcome. He took time to discuss our needs and requirements before showing us around the vehicles that were right for us. We chose a beautiful black hilux which was immaculate and perfect for us at a great price. I would highly recommend Robin Ward 4x4 .

I purchased a Hilux from Robin Ward 4x4 last year, and due to problems with obtaining the relevant visas, Robin agreed to 'house' the hilux until I was able to get it shipped, at an agreed weekly rate. Robin also allowed us to come and add some parts to the car on one occasion. After some months, with both of us becoming frustrated at the delay of paperwork (Africa) I agreed to just pay the VAT and take it off his hands. I made sure that I paid the storage charges that more than covered the period of storage. The process of trying to arrange somebody to pick up the Hilux on my behalf (being in Africa) was where it went seriously wrong. Robin was not happy, and after giving me an expletive filled, abusive phone call he became completely uncooperative from that point. He utterly refused to let the car of his hands (even in person) without an 'interest' payment of £500! (This figure was plucked out of the air during an angry phone call) No explanation was ever given for this but he refused to let the car go without it, and not wanting to incur solicitors bills from where I was, I was forced to pay. The Hilux is in good shape, and drives nicely, but if you encounter any problems with this seller, be prepared for a very difficult time.

Hi Robin. I can’t thank you enough for a car well selected. I finally got the car out after a long battle with the customs due to the standard / deluxe issue; it’s the best I could get, thanks tonnes Robin. Well done 👍
