I bought a 5008 7 years ago and had a relatively frustrating relationship with the dealer, one example being they lost my car key when servicing and blamed me saying they had no record of it being handed in. They found it 4 days later with no apology. I decided to buy another 5008 as my partner didn't want anything bigger and we need a 7 seater for all the children. Terrible buying experience where they wouldn't match price of other Peugeot dealers, added lots of extras without them being requested and then issues with delays for delivery. I should have cancelled at this point. When I finally got the car all was well but after 10 weeks the car would cut out when driving which was very dangerous. The AA said they have this happen on a few Peugeot cars the last few months and it was too dangerous to drive. After 3 hours on the phone trying to get Peugeot to look at it sooner than their original 4 week waiting time, they agreed to look at it under warranty. One of the staff told me it was a know issue and should really be a recall but that would not be good for PR and cost... The fault being that they put the wrong oil in the gearbox at the factory...WHAT! It's been 6 weeks and they can't give me any updates to when they can get the car fixed as the oil isn't available for some reason. No offer of any compensation or replacement as I'm out of the 30 day period when I can request that. So painful and I wish I hadn't been a loyal customer going against my gut.

I ordered a car through the motability scheme in April 2022 was told i would have it in June that didn’t happen got an email to say its been delayed but i will have it in August didn’t happen only to be told again that its not arriving till October got an another email yesterday to saying. Due to the current situation of the country at the moment I will be in contact with you later than expected. That means no car is arriving in October once again how disgusting is that for the motability service but I should have read the reviews first before dealing with this company not one decent review then I really have no hope of getting this car.

Still waiting for a front camera to be supplied under warranty - told it could take up to 3 months to resolve. Asked for compensation - you can imagine the response. Will not be paying my final instalment under contract hire - lets see what their response is now !

Bought a new Vauxhall. Charged £120 for Roadside Assistance which was included within Vauxhall Care Plan and my £250 deposit was not taken off final payment. Eventually got these overcharges refunded. Getting through on the phone is impossible and they do not respond to emails. The only way I could get to speak to anyone was via their Accounts department. Other Robins and Day dealerships are great but Edgware is a nightmare and should be avoided at all costs

I've had my vehicle serviced twice here and it's failed its MOT weeks later. Customer service is a joke, your call goes to the call centre and they can never find anyone available to speak to, messages are never returned.

Don't buy any finance deal which includes attractive insurances. The Just Add Fuel is an absolute scam. After your finance ends expect a potential 4 figure arrears no one explains is due when your finance ends.
My relationship with Robins & Day Edgware was short. I booked a test drive at an appointed time, travelled about an hour to get there and 2 minutes before I arrived, while sitting outside in heavy traffic, the dealer called to say the car had been sold. No apology, no nothing. So we went in anyway to be met by an officious, unhelpful prick so we left immediately. Just don't touch this dealer with a barge-pole. The poor reviews here are perfectly justified. The other branches of Robins & Day I have dealt with have been great, courteous and helpful. NOT THIS ONE

Purchased a nearly new Peugeot 2008 on 12th March 2020. After we left the showroom we found the sat nav was faulty , as the dealership was closing we returned the vehicle following morning. After doing a check they said it was either a loose connection or faulty wiring loom . We left the vehicle with them until 24th March. The problem hadn’t been resolved and the showroom was going into COVID lockdown . We had booked the car on the ferry to Ireland that night so had to take it . They told us that it wouldn’t be any problem to bring it to a Peugeot dealer in Ireland to get it sorted . We did not receive any assistance from them even the customer care number they gave me was for spare parts . When we were test driving the car we asked if it had been used as a rental , we were told no that it would have been a company staff car . However I found paper work stating the car had been prepared for a rental company . The salesman was Mark Martin. We were sold extended warranty which is not valid outside the uk even though We had told them the car was being exported to Ireland . On another visit to London I was told by Mark Brown that their engineer had been in touch with the Peugeot dealership in Ireland that I had taken the car to ( and had it for 12 weeks ) . To try and resolve the problem , Once again this was lies , there never was a conversation. It was only when we got “ Resolver” a Martin Lewis company involved that the issue was taken up by head office. We finally got the car sorted in January 2021 . Mark Brown has refused to give us compensation as he said we hadn’t given them the opportunity to repair the problem. I’d have thought that having the vehicle for 12 days in their workshop immediately after purchasing it would have been long enough. Once you have purchased the vehicle they no longer have any time for you . The number of phone calls where they were not available their failure to answer any e-mails was very frustrating .
