I had a booking for service at 9am today 22nd of March. I've left the car and the agent advised me that it would be ready by lunch time and that they will give me a call. I have waited until 2pm but nobody called, however I called myself to see if the car was ready for collection . They told me that they haven't start working on it( that after 5 hours) and that will be ready by 4pm. At 4:20 they called me to say that they don’t have time to do it anymore and if I choose to leave it overnight or collect it without any service done on it. I was on the Uber 40 min later when he called me again to say that they can TRY to do it until 6.I advised that I was 5 min away and we will discuss there. When I have arrived the explanation from a young lady (forgot the name) was that a particular guy that was working on service site had to go in the reception site to hep as they were really busy. This it’s absolutely outrageous as they kept my car for the whole day WITHOUT doing any work on it, no options given as to try to solve the problem somehow. I also want to mention that the booking was made 2 weeks prior as they said they didn’t had aany other available dates. Customer service it's just a joke, the explanation was ridiculous ,they haven’t come up with any other solution.I am absolutely disappointed about the customer service and how they treat customers at Robins&Day Edgware Branch. I will never again use their services .

Booked my car for a service with Robins and Day for today. On arrival the car park was full with no where to leave the car. It was crowded and badly organised. After a few attempts to park i finally parked on a no parking spot as it was the only available space. When we went in we were served by a young lady who had no professional etiquette, she was spinning in her chair and sitting on leg with the other dangling down. I can only describe her conduct as off hand and of some one chilled at home in front of the TV watching Eastenders. At the time of booking I was told that the car could be done while I wait and it would take up to 3 hours. I also rang the showroom yesterday and I was told the same so I was surprised when the young lady told me that because of covid they don't touch my car for 3 hours and that I can collect it at 5 pm. This meant that I had to wait in the street for over 6 hours. What I can't understand how can they not touch the car for 3 hours because of covid but happy for the customer to collect the car straight after it had been worked on by the garage? ... doesn't my life matter or do DS think the customer is immune from covid.. stupid really! Other than the service I wanted DS to look at a small damage to the car and i wanted to show and describe to a technician the location of the damage and symptoms but the young lady refused to send some one out to check but after reasoning with her she agreed. While she was gone to speak to a technician her manager came out and tried to intimidate me with his 6 feet something height and impose his wisdom on me. I could only imagine he was watching karate kid the night before and thought he was mr miagi ( wax on wax off) Or the series kung fu .. I really expected him to call me grasshopper. At that point I decided to leave. The thing is i have a long history with citroen, peaugeot and DS. As a family of 5 we had synergy and another synergy, C8, C4 and another C4, C1, 208, 308 and now DS7. The reason I bought DS7 becasue I retired and I thought I deserved a luxury car after years of working. However a luxury car clearly doesn't mean luxury service ... well at least for not from this particular DS showroom. They were unprofessional, rude and stuck up. DS have few service centres and they are few and far between. They should know themselves and appreciate that customers are travelling a fair distance as I did. However their was no recognition of that today and there were no provisions to compensate for people waiting for 6 hours. I will never go back to that showroom again. They clearly don't have any sense of customer care nor customer safety as they only value their own safety but not that of the customer.. if they prorohibit working on a car for 3 hours because of covid they should apply that to both staff and customers. in order to apply the 3 hour rule both ways, they should keep cars overnight for everyone's safety. As for customer service it doesn't exist.
Many thanks for your reply & investigation of being accused of being a thief. I would've called but apparently I wasn't called a thief. I'd like to set the record straight readers. Mark from Peugeot saw my paperwork and quote "during the time you've had the car you could've swapped the original wheel for a compact", when I pointed out that the well wasn't deep enough for a 19 inch alloy I was told you should've checked at the time. I don't too many people who unbolt the spare on a brand new car to check that it's the right size. I'd like to point out that I haven't had the car for 18 months as you claim. It would've had it's 1st year service at 12 months but due to Covid came in at 14 months. I'd like to point out that your Citroen Manager stated quote "because of what happened this morning I want to compensate by doing a really great deal" "because you're a personal friend of an ex-employee I want to look after you". "because you're a loyal customer I'm going to look after you". Obviously something took place that morning as your Citroen Manager wanted to a deal to compensate. On a final note, why did the Citroen Manager send abusive texts, swearing and cursing my personal friend (the ex-employee) after my review, blaming him and stating that he put me up to writing a negative review? I was the customer, I wrote according to my experience that morning. I WAS A LOYAL CUSTOMER TO ROBINS AND DAY SO WOULD KNOW WHERE TO ACCESS THE REVIEW. These two men are Managers, yet they behave like this, how are colleagues meant to respect them or are they expected to follow their example? I left a great review for sales for all 3 cars, service guys are great as well, but be warned if anything is missing from your car, don't expect nothing, because that is all you'll get & don't mention that you know anyone that has or does work for the company.
Purchased a second car for my wife dealt with a great happy sales exec who could not do more for us. we test drove two cars and worked hard on a deal but to be honest the car was a amazing price to start with. Good finance offer as well. Very happy.
I was given a quote by Robins & Day Peugeot Edgware to replace the clutch - £437. I then dropped the car off to be told that the set price as advertised on their website, had increased to £1700, I queried this and was told that yes the standard clutch kit did cost £437 but that often other things are wrong, e.g. the slave cylinder (normal cost for one of those is £20). The person then said the real cost would be more like £2100. I obviously just collected the car and took it elsewhere. Buyer be warned!
No Planning: Book the vehicle in, three weeks later goes to workshop Unreliable: Service manager accept the Manufacturer's warranty, Changes his mind 3 weeks later Unprofessional: Remove parts from the engine, not to put them back Not trustworthy: parts goes missing when the vehicle is in their possession No Manor: Service manager eats food in front of the customer Poor management all round from Robins & Day Edgware.

The deal was as smooth as silk. All concerned, namely Vish and Piresh were as friendly, professional and knowledgeable as you could wish for. Good banter, relaxed no-pressure sale. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or nearly new Peugeot. We felt valued, respected and warmly welcomed. Thank you for a pleasant buying experience. Will definitely come to Robins & Day when buying for our business. Thanks again. Simon's Taxis (Hertford).
