Recently bought a VW Tiguan from this garage. When I put a deposit down on the vehicle I was made aware that there was a parking sensor issue. I also questioned a slight squeak from the auxiliary belt, and was told the issues would be solved before collection. Fast forward a week and the collection date came, I received a phone call saying it now had to go to the main dealer for the parking sensor and this would be nearly another week to wait. At this point I was happy with that, as I wanted the car right. When collection finally came around i was told it’s being to the main dealer that morning to be fixed. I came to collect the car but noticed the belt was still squeaking! When I questioned this again I was told by Ryan it’s the characteristics of the car and he then proceeded to spray WD40 on the belt and sent me on my way!! The following day I then noticed the parking sensors hadn’t being fixed and was constantly beeping. Not only this but various electronical faults was flashing up on the dash board. And to no surprise the squeak was back! I immediately informed Ryan about the situation and he replied “just drive it today and hopefully it will sort itself”. Not the reply I expected and I was left feeling like it was just being brushed under the carpet. I had lost confidence in the car at this stage and was questioning everything so decided to do some digging. I contacted the VW dealer the car was ‘meant’ to be at the day before for the parking sensor… And I was shocked to hear from two different staff, that the car wasn’t even on their site on the day Ryan told me!! I then proceeded to get the car checked over by a main dealer. And found out it needed various other things repairing…. To Ryan’s credit they did offer to repair the issues if I provided them with a quote. After this I started looking through the service history. After being told twice by Ryan that it had ‘full service history’ I began to notice there wasn’t much to in the folder. There was one minor service sheet from when the car had done 19k. After that it was just MOT certificates. On one certificate three years later it had written in pen serviced at …… Garage. I rang this garage to find out it’s only had a minor service again. Rogers have since done another minor service. So after nearly 6 years old the car has never had a full service! After all this I rang up the dealership and asked for a call from the owner Chris to no joy. Ringing shortly after I did the same to no joy. Eventually, I did get a call back from to Chris. And I was absolutely astounded to answer the call to him aggressively swearing and demanding an apology from me!!! This is the most unprofessional manner I’ve ever encountered from someone who owns a business. To be fair to Chris he did offer to give me a full refund without any hassle and transferred the money back as soon as the car was returned! So if you are considering buying a car from here, make sure you do your due diligence with the car and don’t take anything they say as gospel.

chris riding from Rogers Of Brock in response to Not a great experience! Lies lies lies
Wow, the only lies are from you. You seem to have forgotten the fact that on two occasions you threatened me with physical violence!! Then lied via email saying you had never threatened to "come down right now and sort me out" twice. Yes you had experienced problems which we had bent over backwards to rectify and confirmed we were willing to pay for all repairs. You then accused my colleague of lying about the fact that I was not in work on Monday morning because I was with my wife in A&E awaiting an emergency operation. I did apologise the same afternoon for swearing to you on the phone as I was extremely upset and stressed that you thought that anyone could lie about such a situation. The main reason I gave you a full refund is that customers like you are not welcome at Rogers of Brock. We have been in business since 1982 and pride ourselves on delivering great customer service. Yes cars can can have faults, but we are here to help, not be abused and physically threatened! So if you are a prospective customer reading this and have the same attitude as Aiden, please stay away, you are not welcome. Many thanks to our 100's of repeat customers & also our dozens of new customers who join the Rogers of Brock family every week. Chris Riding Managing Director

Rogers of Brock from Rogers Of Brock in response to Do not buy a car from this garage
Hi Karen Thank you for taking the time to leave your review You purchased your vehicle 9 months ago, yet you have not emailed or contacted us regarding any faults in that time until this week. I have also contacted the warranty company, they have also confirmed they haven't had any correspondence from you within 9 months The fault you have incurred is a DPF issue which is a servicable item and is usually down to how the vehicle is driven and used. We issued you the warranty booklet on the day of collection and explained the cover, we also explained how modern diesels will need regular long runs to keep the DPF clean. You have driven the vehicle for 9 months prior to this week with no faults you have made us aware of.
I've bought many cars from many dealers over the years, but these guys at Rogers Of Brook cone highly recommended. Very trustworthy, you get piece of mind with the warranty, the place it's self clean and efficient, and they do what they say they will do, which does not always happen at car dealerships. I would buy from them again without hesitation....
I travelled from Swindon which is over 4hours on a train on Saturdays 22nd of April. I rang the garage while on the way I told them a wasn’t going to get there till about four there reply was (I need to be gone by 15:45) if you look at the website it clearly shows there open till 5pm I ended up staying in a hotel till the next morning I arrived at the garage to collect my car at 11am I was greeted by Adam and was giving the keys. Looking over the car I was shocked, disappointed, gutted is just a few words I’d use for this experience, I travelled so far with my two children thinking i was getting a nice clean tidy motor for me and my boys but this was far from it. The wheels on the car were scratch, the interior was horrendous, didn’t even look like it was validated and in such a poor condition this car was costing me almost £13000. The travel cost me over £300 And when I asked about the money I’ve spent on getting there he replied we can’t help you with that. Be careful when dealing with this garage

Rogers of Brock from Rogers Of Brock in response to Gutted with the result
Apologies you were unhappy with your experience. Firstly I must clarify whilst I had to personally leave early, there was still 2 other members of staff on site, You had arranged to collect the car early Saturday afternoon yet rang at 1.10pm to say you were catching the 1.30pm train which was a 4 hour journey + 30 minutes to our garage meaning you would have arrived at 6pm!! It was explained prior to purchase that as it was a 10 year old car done 111,000 miles it would have marks on, it would be impossible for it not to have any. It was also specifically mentioned that the wheels did have some kerb marks. We offered to touch up the wheels and re-valet it for you so, can only apologise once again if we failed to meet your expectations.
I highly recommend Rogers of Brock if you're in the market for a new car, they are very helpful and nice to deal with. They also have a great range of stock. I have purchased a few cars from here now and each time they have been fantastic. I have already told all my family and friends to go here if they need a new car.

is this a real or paid for review?
Spot on dealership - really easy to deal with and so friendly. Usually this sort of purchase is daunting and stressful, but the dealer handled everything very well, and helped me sort everything out, he put my mind at rest and really took away the hassle! The car is perfect, I'm so happy with it and definitely enjoying driving.
