I recently bought a new Mazda from Romford and found the sales manager there, Sam, and his colleagues to be really helpful and efficient. There was a problem with the DVLA and a cherished number plate (not Romford Mazda's fault) and they were great sorting it all out. I haven't had a service or any work done but will leave another review after I do.
Romford Mazda took two weeks to diagnosis the problem with my car, never bothered to call me to update me, in fact, every time I made a call to them, they were always too busy to talk to me. In the end, I got my car returned with new warning lights on the dash (amber engine warning light) and the car broke down within half an hour of driving. Since then, they have stopped responding to my emails and started ignoring me completely. I was left shocked by their customer service. I would encourage people to avoid this dealership at all cost. It's a shame the such a good brand Mazda has cheap dealers like Romford Mazda.
This dealership should be avoided at all costs if, like me, you expect a decent customer aftercare service. It's ok when you're buying a new car from them, but don't expect the same treatment once you've signed on that dotted line! I've bought two new cars from them and they never have any time for you after, and never return your calls. When questioning the service manager (Chris) recently why he hadn't dealt with something that was already a few weeks outstanding I was bluntly told "your car is three years old and your wheels are not my priority". I was left speechless. Teams are led by example and in this case the manager, Kam Shokar, is just as rude and arrogant as his staff. Their customer service is appalling, be warned!
I brought my Mazda from Romford nearly a year ago, I was promised all bodywork issues would be dealt with but on collection nothing was done, my boyfriend went to speak to the manager there Mr Shokra who was so rude and arrogant, anyway work got done they delivered the car to me, but now the paintwork they done is all flaking off and of course the customer service manager Chris hasn't got back to me, I certainly wouldn't buy from them again!!
