If I'm honest I wouldn't even give them one star but unfortunately that isn't an option. So I bought a BMW 3 series back on the 18th of may, it ran fine, after 28 days the engine was overheating so I took the car back into trade center on the 18th of June. They gave me a courtesy car (Ford Cmax) No where near like for like!!! First few weeks I got daily calls with updates that the technicians were investigating the issue. They believed it was a coolant leak. 2-3 weeks ago I had one of the daily updates saying they were going to price up a new engine/cylinder head, depending on which was better for them! It is currently 20th of August and still no idea as to what's going on as they haven't yet priced anything up!! I hadn't realised it was a difficult task, I was able to go online and price it up within 5 mins! I am still paying for a car I no longer have in my possession which is a joke, especially when I've been sold a car which is not fit for purpose! I have asked about a replacement car in which I was told "That will never happen!" Can someone tell me when I will get my car back!! It's been over nearly 3 month now (longer than what I had it for) and still no clue when I will get it back what an absolute joke! Gone from having actual updates on the car daily to Amanda calling once in a blue moon stating "the technicians are still trying to fix the car, will call with another update when we have one" if they spent as much time on the cars as they did staring at them, cars would get fixed, and customers would be left happy! An absolute disgrace from trade centres after sales team!! Don't get me wrong the sales guys were brilliant but the after sales care is pathetic! Sort it out! Continues much longer and I'll be on there Christmas card list 🤣

I recently purchased a car from Trade Centre, and it turned out to be a nightmare from start to finish. Within just one week of driving the car, it developed a serious fault. Despite promptly returning it for repairs, I was left without a vehicle for three weeks, including over the Christmas period, due to their incompetence. To make matters worse, when I finally collected the car, it was evident that they hadn't fixed the issue at all. What's truly appalling is that Trade Centre allowed me to drive around with my son in a car they knew to be faulty, displaying a complete lack of regard for our safety. When I demanded a refund, they initially refused, forcing me to escalate the matter legally. Even then, they dragged their feet, taking an additional three weeks to process the refund. Adding insult to injury, they had the audacity to charge me a £25 admin fee for their own incompetence and were consistently rude and dismissive throughout the entire ordeal. It's clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for Trade Centre. To make matters worse, I later discovered that a staggering 60% of cars purchased from Trade Centre end up being returned, highlighting a pattern of deceit and shoddy business practices. It's deeply concerning that they reportedly train their staff to deny refund requests, leaving vulnerable customers at risk of being caught in their web of deceit. In conclusion, my experience with Trade Centre has been nothing short of a nightmare. I urge anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from them to proceed with extreme caution or better yet, explore alternative options.
Jon who works at Rotherham trade centre was very helpful to find me a car
My partner bought a car from trade centre Rotherham on 22/06/2023 so literally just a month ago and there has been nothing short of problems. He arrived at 6pm granted later in the evening than the typical buyer however you’re open until 9pm so we’d expect the same standard throughout the whole day. Starting from the sales people not filling out the correct documents and taking the required details when the sale was taking place causing us to have many trips back and forth and phone calls to resolve this issue. My partner was told last week he shouldn’t have been able to drive away with the car that day, which looks like an error on trade centres end for even allowing this. There has then been a numerous amounts of faults on the car proving that the company has not fulfilled the necessary checks over that they are legally required to do prior to a sale. For example, a faulty battery that needed replacing, tyres that were inflated way over their required psi (49 when in the handbook for the car it states no more than 32) and underneath the car had well and truly corroded causing the exhaust to drop off. Our guess is the last minute sale and commission on the car was a little more important that day, we’re not really one’s to be a ‘Karen’ and complain but it’s not things you’d expect to happen on a car that you bought less than a month ago and when children also travel in this car just thankful none of the issues that have occurred have caused an accident. Would not recommend buying from here unfortunately.

Absolute bunch of conmen I don't even have the energy to list my story. All I can say is buy elswhere
Appalling customer service. I originally went to this car dealership on the 14th of September to buy a Corsa. The customer advisers were very friendly and agreed to do a part exchange on my old car for £2000. We told them that the car was not worth that much, but they said because it was a slow night, that would be what they offered us. They also asked if I wanted a 3-year Warranty, to which I said I am unsure, and my mother said no. We signed a contract on these terms and were going to collect the new car the next day. We gave a deposit of £250. I called my insurance company to change over my vehicle for the next day. On the 15th we went to collect the vehicle and pay the outstanding balance. A completely new team of people served us, and they went to look at my car which I had brought with me to exchange, whilst one man was looking over my old car, we went to discuss the payment with the other man. I noticed the copy of the contract he had, was altered and had new things written on it compared to the contract I had signed the evening before. He said that I had opted for the 3-year warranty which I had not agreed to take out. But the contract had been tampered with over the last 24 hours. The other gentleman came back and said they were now only prepared to offer £300 for my old car, £1,700 less than was agreed. We said that this was unacceptable, and the deal was off. They were unprepared to meet us halfway or honour the agreement and indeed the contract. At this point the contract was void. I had to get the documents and paperwork myself from the side, they would have kept it had I not taken them. It then took a long time for them to refund my deposit. I also had the inconvenience of having to call my insurance company to reverse my policy back on to my old car. Fortunately, this Monday we went to The Car Shop in Sheffield, and I was offered the reasonable amount of £1,200 for my old Peugeot 208 and a reasonable contract with no dodgy add-ons or doctored agreements. The customer service was far superior, and we were treated with respect. They clearly wanted to do business with us and make a sale. I suspect Trade centre felt that we were desperate enough to except the unreasonably low offer of £300 for my old car and we would walk away with this going way over budget, they did not seem to mind losing the sale at all which leads me to believe they already had another customer lined up.

Absolutely horrific customer experience. My partner bought a car in March (the car must have been faulty when it was purchased). Since then, the car has repeatedly gone into limp mode for 6 months and we are in no position now for the car being sorted. The car has been taken into the trade centre garage 4 TIMES now and been returned ‘fixed’ and it has continued to have the problem over and over again. The car clearly does not work and has been mis sold, yet we are being refused a refund and refused the ability to swap the car even though it does not work. My partner has spent hundreds of pounds on getting taxis over recent months, and we are now in a position where we are been refused a courtesy car as the car has been ‘rejected’. If not resolved this time, then we will be taking action further.

Adele Lindsey Randall in response to Absolute disgrace. Awful
Hi were currently having the same issue with a Renault Clio my partner purchased at the end of the July its broke two days after purchase, they then had the car for 4 weeks put a new gearbox in it the day we collected it broke again on the way home so we returned it straight away and then again they phoned said it was fixed- it broke again, we then rejected the car on the 9.11.22 they have had the car all that time leaving me with no transport for work. Yet they phoned us today 19.11.22 stating there deepest apologies but they have finally repaired the car so my partner goes and speaks to manager and agrees to collect car driving home it flashes up same fault- check auto gearbox. what outcome have you had as were taking this further now? thankyou
Carlin in response to Absolute disgrace. Awful
Hi did you do you get an independent engineers report. I’ve just got one for mine so that I can reject the car due to serious corrosion. It was £198 but talking to the lm it looks like it will get in my favour to move forward.
On 6/8/22 myself and a family member entered the trade centre and was straight away pounced on asking numerus questions like do i want to pay cash or finance a car what car i had and they wanted to give me a qwote the male then followed us were ever we went i asked why he was following us to be told "im doing my job i can always escort you out" on the way out he was also following us to a car i stoped at that i had interest in and the male member of staff said to me are you going to buy it or not? I was very upset and felt huge pressure deffinataly will never go back and deffinataly will make sure people are awair of how we was treated and spoke to

Absolute disgrace. Bought a car for £8000 two months ago and the car keeps breaking down in limp mode. Trade Centre informed me it wasn’t their problem as it was out of warrantee. Spent hundreds of my own money trying to fix it (new coils, spark plugs etc) and the same thing keeps happening. Trade Centre reiterated it wasn’t their problem. They’ve sold me a faulty car for a lot of money and couldn’t care less. I’ve read my contract and reminded them of the part where they would hold accountability of any faults within 6 months. After reluctantly accepting I was well within my rights and trying every other trick in the book, they are now asking me to pay £120 of my own money for an online diagnostic report and only then they will decide if they will contribute to costs to making repairs (I can guess what the answer will be).
