I wanted to share my sincere thanks to the team at Rowes Honda in Trispen. Specifically mentioning Paul and Phil, for their transparency and openness. Please note, I have never owned a Honda nor have i ever visited a Honda vehicle dealership, until two-three weeks ago. Please also note, i am a very compliant person by nature and employment so my scepticism is always at a high; For me to feel this way, is very, very rare! I purchased one of their Part-exchange vehicles on a finance agreement, not for not a huge sum, but big enough for me! As expected when making a sale, they were great throughout the process of purchasing. But the professionalism of all departments came to fruition once more when following the purchase, i called to discuss options for (what i believed the issued to be at the time) the rear breaks to be reviewed as i could hear an annoying noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. On the call, i could feel they understood me and told me to return the vehicle at MY earliest convenience, for them to assess and rectify my issue, that is exactly what they did. I personally, would recommend Honda Rowes, for their customer service alone. To me they have been a trustworthy and currently-reliable source and i personally will return should the situation arise for me to purchase a new or used vehicle.

The sales team were helpful. However the service manager is utterly useless. Also really up himself and likes to be little people. When you say you've got an issue he just turns around and says that there isn't issue even after you give him the photographic evidence. He says there's nothing they can do. Buyers beware. He even belittles his staff.

Just had THE MOST infuriating attitude from their sales team. Proposed to express interest in a car which the sales member then proceeded to argue with me over the price and mileage of the car. They have falsely advertised the car with 250 miles and then proceeded to continue driving in it for another 100 miles, in the very short time between listing and posting the pictures. That's before it's even inspected further. He admitted that the garage owned it as an ex-demo car and proceeded to play bleeding heart over "I've not even drove it yet" but yet it seems everyone else has. The absolute GALL from this rep to willingly deny the facts and quite frankly that attitude towards a prospective customer when expressing concern about the added miles and knowing fully fine well they have the car at an almost 30% mark up from cost which they were willing to provide any service to cost. Their entire attitude was ranged around that "Well, if you don't buy it, someone else will".. Ok, go and find them then. Their attitude was "take it or leave it" well, thanks very much but I think I'll leave it. I'm not a mug and refuse to be talked down to like one. Find some other fool. I want the car, I don't NEED it. Thanks but no thanks.
Buying a used car from Rowes Honda is a bit like 'Russian Roulette.' You never know what you're gonna get. And they don't care two hoots. Better off buying from a private seller. Save yourself some money. Very disappointed with the level of customer service at Rowes Honda Truro. Bought a used car from their 'Cars too good to trade'. I trusted them to have corrected any problems before selling me a car. Even a £4,000 used car. But my trust was misplaced. According to their service manager I was lucky to get an oil change before I bought it. "Some used cars we sell don't even get that." He admitted. I bought the car wondering why the clutch biting point was low. After mentioning it they admitted it was a problem and tried to fix it with a clutch fluid change. (I now know that only works if there is air in the system, not for low biting point). I discover from an independent mechanic that a low biting point is caused by clutch cover plate wearing out. Rowes Honda now admit that's the problem, but want me to pay for it. In the test drive I didn't try the radio so didn't realise the speakers were not functional on one side of the vehicle. Now they want me to pay for new speaker. Air conditioning didn't demist the windows so I took the vehicle back and they couldn't find the fault. I thought I'd check the cabin pollen filter myself and it was totally choked with dust, leaves and dead insects. I fixed the problem myself with a new filter. When they looked at it they said there wasn't a problem! Because of that I checked the engine air filter. It was black and hadn't been changed by Rowes Honda prior to selling me the vehicle. The 12 volt accessory socket was dangling loose, which I hadn't noticed on the test drive. After complaining about it they glued it in the console with epoxy resin rather than fixing it properly with a plastic fixing. So now, if there is ever a fault with the accessory socket I can't replace it. I hear a knocking noise at each rear wheel, plus the tyres are worn badly on the inner edge. Other independent mechanics tell me this is most likely due to the suspension bushes wearing out. Rowes Honda told me there isn't a problem and weren't prepared to do anything about it. Be forewarned!
DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE FOR SERVICING OR MOT. They phoned me whilst my car was in for a service and MOT and informed me I had failed the MOT and need new discs, pads and two tyres. After explaining that I couldn't afford £500 before Christmas and do I really need it done now, I suddenly hadn't failed anymore and it could wait until January (money grabbing) After taking my car to a new garage as the price was A LOT better than Rowes, Truro, the garage called me to say I didn't need new discs at all. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE AND ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION. They also didn't bother to turn my service light off causing more inconvenience...did they even do the service?

We took our Honda FRV to Rowes Honda in Truro to be fixed last week. Despite a phone call to say the car was ready and fixed at 3 pm, when we turned up at 4.30 it was still being worked on. We were kept waiting for 45 minutes. When we finally got the car back, we drove it for 10 minutes and then the engine completely failed - which was the problem it was taken in for. I was driving it up hill at the time and on a blind corner, with my disabled foster children in the back. All pretty terrifying. Rowes showed no concern when I contacted them. We were told they had run a diagnostic check which showed the car needed new clutch switches. My husband had expressed his concern earlier that this did not tally with the way the car had been behaving. He was completely ignored. Our contact at Rowes did not call back when he had promised and had to be chased repeatedly before telling us that Rowes had done everything they could with the car. Extremely poor service and a callous disregard for their customers. We are pursuing a complaint.
