Wish I could give zero stars. My daughter bought a car from these POS. Within one day it started going wrong. Three different mechanics advised us to return it immediately, as is our legal right. Ryde refused point blank. Citizens Advice are useless, and told us Trading Standards isn't customer facing so we couldn't speak with them directly. Some authority MUST do something about these disgusting cowboys at Ryde Autos. We're now stuck with a car which looks like it's gonna need a whole new engine, or sell it for spares/repairs. My 18 yr old saved hard for this, her first car, £5,400. It's absolutely devastating, emotionally and financially. I don't know how these guys live with themselves, selling cars that are literally death traps, and getting away with it, with absolutely no consequences from the authorities. I have noticed that Companies House has just issued a compulsory striking off order, but I'm sure they'll simply open up again under another name, rinse, repeat......

I am deeply saddened to learn that many people, including myself, have been adversely affected by Ryde Autos. The owner is also associated with another company called Sandy Cars (12409380). It's truly disheartening that if the company is in the process of being struck off, we might be left without any recourse. My heartfelt sympathies go out to all those who are facing this unfortunate situation.
Autotrader blocks all the negative review for this business. You can't leave any negative comment there. They removed their business in Google as well.Everyone need to be careful of the company.

These guys sell what looks like a good car for a costly amount but the car ultimately breaks down in a month’s time or so. They would ignore your calls and not help in any way. I recently purchased a Peugeot 308 from them for £8,800 only to discover within 6 weeks that the front spring is broken, the alternator is faulty and oil is leaking from the engine. Tires are below standard, the car exhaust pipe had been mutilated and something else welded unto it. I have sent multiple emails no response. They now ignore my calls but when I called with a different number they picked. I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE NOT TO DO ANY FORM OF CAR BUSINESS WITH THEM. I only regret not reading reviews before buying from them.

I recently test drove a car at Ryde Autos and was disappointed with their pushy sales tactics. During the selling process, I felt pressured and uncomfortable. However, I am glad that I did not end up purchasing a car from them. After reading some one-star reviews, I realize that I am not the only one who had a negative experience at Ryde Autos. Dear Sir/Madam, We have been unable to find a record for you and unsure whether you actually attended our showroom, one of our selling tactic is actually not to push the customer into buying, when a customer comes in to view a car we do not stand by the car with them, we give the key and ask them to find us in the office if they have a question or would like to test drive. I bought a car from Ryde Autos 2 months ago. However, after driving it for only 50 miles, it broke down and had problems. I was confident because I had bought it from a dealer and it was under warranty. Unfortunately, things did not go my way. Ryde Autos refused to fix the car and instead asked me to do it myself. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was told that they did not care. This is ridiculous! How can a company run a business without ethics? I would not recommend anyone to buy a car from here.

Mate, let me tell you about Ryde Autos - they're nothing but a bunch of dodgy dealers who'll sweet talk you into buying a motor that's bound to give you nothing but grief. I made the mistake of buying a car from them, and boy was I a fool to fall for their nicey-nicey service and free cuppa. They promised me a 3-month warranty, but when the engine conked out after just a month, they refused to fix it, leaving me with a whopping £2000 bill to sort out. And the worst part? When I tried to call them up and complain, they ignored me faster than you can say "rip off". These crooks couldn't care less about the Consumer Rights Act 2015 - all they care about is squeezing as much cash out of unsuspecting customers like you and me. Save yourself the hassle, the heartache, and the hard-earned cash - and find a decent dealership that actually cares about their customers.

These guys are dubious in all their ways, they sell defective cars that look just good at first but usually breaks down within a month or so. They are rude to customers and are strong headed. They will ignore your emails and phone calls when you get an issue with the car. I wonder if they are immune to the court. DON’T ENGAGE IN ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THEM

Hope I read your review before I buy the car there!
I am deeply disappointed with the level of service I received from Ryde Auto. When I purchased my second-hand car from them, they promised to provide a warranty and ensure that the car was in good working condition. However, after driving the car for only 1 week, the central locking system stopped working. I immediately contacted the warranty company and was told that the fault would be repaired under the warranty. To my great disappointment, I called back the dealer and Ryde Auto has now refused to repair the fault, despite their earlier promises. This has left me with a car that is not fit for purpose and has put me in a difficult position. I trusted Ryde Auto to provide me with a reliable vehicle and to stand behind their promises, but they have failed to do so. I urge anyone considering purchasing a car from Ryde Auto to think twice before doing so. Their lack of accountability and disregard for their customers is unacceptable, and I would not want anyone else to have to go through the disappointment and frustration that I have experienced
