I requested if S James would enable a pre-purchase inspection to be conducted by an insured and certified inspector similar to what the AA offer to make sure you are not buying a dodgy car. S James would not permit or allow it. This was a red flag to not provide transparency in determining the quality of works and safety of the vehicle. If you are as good as you say you are, you would be content to be inspected…..unless you know you’d be found short. The staff were polite but it seems they tow the company line in selling a picture of a car that’s not the actual one. Read the reviews about cutting into the existing vehicle to attach modifications. If S James offered the option to conduct a pre-purchase inspection it would iron out a lot of the problems.

Had a pleasant experience with Sjames until it was time to give car back at the end of finance agreement. They had no record of service history before I even purchased the vehicle and insisted they gave it to myself when they did not. Now affecting the sale of this vehicle. Really unprofessional and poor from them.

Did a finance prop online and gave them a call, spoke with Josh who was very helpful and easily contactable if needed. Everything was sorted in a matter of days and handover booked in. Very easy handover and car in great condition as pictured. Would highly recommend!

I’ve called them and Natalie answered. She explained what they do, what options are available to add/remove from the car I wanted. We booked the viewing for the weekend. Been there, test drove it and bought it. Called Natalie for the service history after 1 week and received it in a few minutes in my email. Great experience!
