Sandicliffe and in particular James Gilbert exceeded expectations in my recent car purchase… from the outset I found James to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. He provided a very comprehensive and detailed video of the car along with all requested information. My 2 hour drive to look at the car was well worth it and we reached a great deal without any of the usual high pressure sales nonsense which is often experienced in used car sales. When returning to collect the car a very quick handover took place with everything ready (James kindly picked me up from the station). Highly recommended.

Poor body repair charge for diamond brite yet dont apply it service and inspection they still hand over a car with low brake fluid level and a dirty car too

Bought used car around 4 weeks ago from main dealer,would expect to have know issue,now there is an issue they don't want to know, warranty given is not worth the paper it's written on, we've rang them let a message,got know where ,not impressed,Neil Carter (still Waiting).

Only just calm enough to write this review after the horrific experience. purchased a used Ford Kuga from Sandicliffe Loughborough at the end of may 2023, within a week I had a light saying "service engine now" on the dashboard, took it in to be waved away with a "nothings wrong", fine, i thought, they know what they're doing(!!!).. For the next 2 weeks the engine was constantly overheating, had to keep turning the car off in traffic, then after having the car 3 weeks it stopped completely, engine management light on, limp mode, the lot. Having opened the bonnet we discovered there was absolutely no oil or coolant in the tanks at all. Took it back to Sandicliffe to be advised "the engine light isn't on" - absolute lies! if it was on for 14 miles driving home, still on after leaving it overnight and then driving it to the garage, it wouldn't have turned off just from being sat on their forecourt for 15minutes!! Told them to go and look again because there was still no oil or coolant in, they came back an hour later...the head gasket had gone! Took them over an hour to find a suitable courtesy car and was told by servicing my vehicle would be ready in 3 days, rang mid-week for progress update as we were due to go on holiday in the vehicle the next week, to be told that work had not started and it wouldn't be starting for at least another 2 weeks as they're too busy with MOT's and they have no qualified technicians! We then rejected the purchase of the vehicle as I had absolutely no confidence in them, if they can't put coolant and oil in the car before selling it how am i meant to trust them to fix a head gasket! We asked to see the job card for the however many "hundred point check" they do before selling a car, oh shock they couldn't locate the paperwork! In my opinion they had completely botched this job and just wanted a quick sale because they knew it would go wrong! Was advised they would find a suitable replacement for me, took a week for the buyers to purchase about 6 nissan leaf's and other small cars and offer these as a replacement - this is not a direct replacement for a Ford Kuga! Eventually told them to give me full money back and we purchased a vehicle elsewhere that actually provides 2 years warranty, AA and up to £750 MOT cover as STANDARD.. When I was signing for the refund had to sign a document advising they are giving the full amount back to me "as a gesture of good will" --- this is consumer rights not good will!! 2 days later I got a call from the service department saying they are going to start work on my car next week that i dropped off today! I hadn't been near the garage that day nor did i own a car from them anymore! Communication, Customer Service, all of it absolutely shocking, would not recommend.
