Hi, decided not to buy from Sascron for the following reasons: - salesperson on the phone was asking for a deposit for a car which I had never seen... - 146GBP admin fee (!!!). never have encountered that in any other used car dealership - FINALLY after agreeing on a price Friday afternoon with Baljit Singh (price 300GBP from listed price), speaking again Saturday morning to confirm my intention to purchase the car on Sunday, I was emailed first thing Sunday morning that the price had now gone up to the original price (!) plus the admin fee! I found their behaviour unprofessional and unethical to go back on your word. Especially since we had spoken the previous afternoon. Was later emailed and asked what would I be willing to pay ... Deal is off!! Strongly recommend avoiding this dealership until they change their ways. There are many other honest dealers out there.

Hi there, we have also had the same issue with Sascon and unfortunately they are refusing to give us back our £500 deposit which was confirmed as fully refundable over the phone. We are actually pursuing court action against them and are due in court on the 9th February. I would be really grateful if you are able to drop me an email confirming your story. I am trying to collate as much evidence against these cowboys as possible!. Many thanks Sarah smorley123 (AT) hotmail.com
Excellent service . We went to see a selection of cars we had picked from the web on Sunday. We where left alone to walk round looking . Only when we where ready did we ask for help to look at a few cars . Once we had made our selection we went on a test drive, yes you have show you are serious before doing a test drive ,I understand being in sales myself. Giles who took us out was fantastic and we cant praise him enough ,there was no pressure to buy and he answered all our questions no matter how stupid there were. We looked at all the history and documents before making our decision to purchase. just what we wanted low mileage 4x4, bonus was 7 seats and big enough for our dogs in the back. Yes we where offered warranties and finance ,again that is there job ,but was no pressure when we said no. Giles said look over the car see if is any thing you are not happy with ,we found a few minor marks,he said no problem all the cars are checked and serviced if needed before you collect and if anything needs doing they will do it. I thought just sales talk and they will just valet the car. No not the case my wife collected the car today and they have done all the things we asked ,it has been serviced and they have fitted brand new brake discs front and back ,I checked them before buying and they did not need changing yet. Giles was excellent taking his time to explain all the features and functions again to my wife. The experience we have had at Sascron was fantastic front start to finish. Sorry for the long review but people are very quick to complain but praise where praise is due .
I purchased a BMW from Sascron back in May and They were great! really helpful and very knowlegable and the car is perfect. I have had no issues with it at all its fantastic and it was an excellent price. No complaints at all and I would happily recommend them.

We bought our Kia from here this month, after about 10 days we noticed a problem, so rang Steve Cornelius who was our salesman, he was amazing no questions just told to bring it in, left the car for two day's and work was done. I would recommend this car dealer to anyone, really impressed with after sales.
I bought bought a car from Sascron back in April and I have had nothing but problems. after 6 days the engine management lights came on, it took them 3 days to get involved and actually do anything. I had to drive the car back to them (dangerously) to have the repairs done (I'm not even sure what they did) and after the repairs were done they said they would valet the car as a gesture of good will but they didn't... The car came back to me with cds missing, pine needles in the back and the air con had been de-gassed, they also unplugged the lights? anyway the service was poor and I would not recommend this dealership at all.

After phoning ahead of my 1 and a half journey to visit the garage i expected to be greeted by a prepared salesman ready to show me the car that had been described over the phone. Instead I was dealt with by the worst salesman I have ever come across. The guy had no clue what he was talking about with regards to the car I was interested in (or cars in general) he just tried to tell me what he thought I wanted to hear but actually just came out with absolute rubbish. I came across a whole list of problems with the vehicle - none of which he volunteered to me - I had to discover the problems myself only for him to come up with some excuse and tell me it would get sorted (after I agreed a sale and paid a deposit). After reluctantly letting me take the car for a test drive (as he wanted me to agree a sale first) I came across further issues when driving it which had also not been identified to me (I wonder what other issues I didn't pick up on). A massive waste of 4 hours of my time!

Hi there, can I ask whether you got your deposit back? I am having to take them to small claims court to get mine back.

Hi there, can I ask whether either of you got your deposit back. I am also taking them to small claims court to get our £500 deposit back, which was confirmed as fully refundable. Our court case is on the 9th February, I would be very interested to hear your current situation. My email address is smorley123 (AT) hotmail (DOT) com
Fantastic choice. Very happy with David Loynes who helped us through the full process and now we are the proud owners of a Volvo V60
My sales person was Stephen du crus, he was very polite and calm. He had time to answer all my questions. Asked if I was happy with the car. my experience with sascron wasn't bad.
Dealing with Sascron was the most bizare experience whilst car shopping in my life. I have visited many car lots in my life and bought many cars. Never quite like this. I made an appt by phone and drove nearly 2 hours to see and drive a very specific car. I arrived a little late but was met promptly. The car was outside the door, prepared for my visit. A brief walk around the car with the salesman, and I asked if we could do a brief test drive. I was then told I had to go through their finance arrangements and agree a price before I could even test drive. This was not flexible even when I explained I had finance in place. Having driven so far I reluctantly agreed, and we left the car and went into the showroom. After 10 minutes of being told what a bridging loan was (like a 10yr old rather than a man in his late 30's) I had enough and enquired why we were having to do this rather than drive the car. The salesman was unshaken and proceeded with no flexibility to the request of a customer. Understandably I wanted to be with the car, in the car, driving the car, examining if I wanted to buy the car.... But no. The salesman explained that after a test drive I need to be in a position to tell him there and then if I was going to buy the car..... Why???? After explaining that i didn't want their finance, and did not want to PX my car I was finally allowed to drive the car. I then noticed that the milage was 44k. The advert was for 38k!! When questioned the salesman explained that the sales team drive the cars too. 6 thousand miles by salesmen???? I then inspect the log book and see that the previous owner MOT'd the car at 41k! Clearly more lies and unethical behaviour. Rest assured I did NOT buy the car, and drove the long road back home safe in the knowledge I would never visit these cowboys again. The car was dodgy, the salesman was dodgy, the policy of not letting you buy the car was dodgy. Overall... Dodgy. AVOID!
I bought my car (Vauxhall Zafira) ) Matthew Morris was the salesman, He was polite and helpful but not over the top, he was happy to go the extra mile with his service. The car was for my wife and she is over the moon with it.. I would be very happy to recommend Sascron all the staff I spoke to were helpful but I would be very very happy to recommend Matthew.
