I just brought my Evoque from Saxton 4x4. I was nervous initially due spending what I consider to be a lot of money, not seeing the car in person and also reading some of the reviews below but I just couldn’t find a car I liked more than the one I brought and the price was really good compared to what else was around. I didn’t have to be concerned because throughout I was looked after thoroughly by Alex who sent me detailed videos, constant updates and lots of reassurance. He seemed to be available whenever I had a question. The car only arrived today so I can’t speak for its reliability but visually it’s as beautiful as the videos and pictures suggested. No issues with payment or with my part exchange. I would definitely buy from them again and if I do I will be asking for Alex.

Spent £4000 fixing in the first 2 years of purchase, one problem after the next ! Do not buy from Saxton! They sell you their cars at cheaper price with good deals because the cars have previous problems! In the long run you’ll end up over spending on repairs! Save yourself the hassle! Avoid at all costs

This review is about what happened to me at Saxton 4x4 I seen a car online price was £49000 and paid £1000 deposit . I agreed to trade my old car in at £17500 When I went to collect the car I was asked to pay the balance £30,500 which I did by card. Once payment was made I was told my trade in was missing some service history and I would need to pay a further £1000 which would be refunded when I supplied the history . I refused to pay that and was offered a reduced payment of £500. I said no I would rather cancel the car and asked for all my card payments back which I had just paid , I was told that their card machines don’t allow refunds and the salesman would need to raise a sheet which would go to an accountant who would refund me in due coarse . As you can understand I wasn’t happy with that so I asked for some kind of written receipt to confirm I would get the money returned to which they replied they couldn’t do that either. So here were my options Option 1 leave without the new car and minus £30,500 and no g/tee I would get the money back or if so when . Option 2 pay another £500 and get at least come home with the car. I took the wise choice and paid £500. I have supplied the service history and put up a negative review. To my astonishment I have been called by Saxon to say they will not refund me the £500 until I take the review down . That’s what I call service history! Buyers Befare !!! Please check your car before you pay for it! Apparently their PDQ machine can’t do refunds. Beware of them trying to extort more money from you by saying your trade in has missing service history . If you are thinking about purchasing a 4x4 here be warned , The showroom may look impressive but these guys are seriously bad news . Essex trading standards have massive complaints against them . Featured on bbc watch dog . Cars are mis represented . Please go elsewhere .

Upon buying the car they only provided us with a photocopy of the log book, stating they didn’t have the original to hand. This meant we did not receive the new keepers slip. But the assured us it was fine. However after months of chasing DVLA for the location of our log book. I have just found out today that the car had been registered and the log book sent out. But to a completely random person at a random address. Saxton had sent the wrong information to DVLA. Upon phoning them to resolved it I get the most unhelpful ‘I don’t deal with the log books, we’ll look into it and get in contact with you in a few days’. Surely a car dealership knows what they are doing with something so important as information sharing with DVLA... clearly not! Now we have to pay to get a new look book with the correct information sent out to us due to their error!!

I bought a 2017 Land Rover Discovery from Saxtons4x4 in January 2020. The car had done just 33k miles. I drove it for another 1,800 miles and it started to stall only for Land Rover to tell me it needed a new engine at a cost of £12,000. Saxtons claim I should have recognized the issue with the car after driving it however I had an RAC specialist come to check the car and he could not find an issue. In fact it took Land Rover specialists in Sunbury on Thames over 2 weeks to find the fault which was a lack of cyclinder compression. One of the most disappointing issues with this whole experience is Saxtons4x4 apathy. In their minds, they sold the car in this case for £39,500 and don't want anything more to do with it. Adding to this is the accusations directed at me from their legal advisors. The experience of dealing with them is just not worth it.

It’s a big mistake when you buy online car u never know all the features of car ant they never give you information about the cars features which features available in the car and which features not i buy a velar 17 reg 32k£ from saxton4><4 a velar without electric seats without front parking sensors without rear camera without electric boot open and without folding side mirrors and without central arm rest this is the so called velar what kind of car is this all I know when I going to collect my car
