Purchased a Q7 early last year. To date the car has been off the road for 3 months. It's currently in a garage due to a car call back that was never done. We paid for extra warranty and on the 1st issue found out car was covered. Luckily this time it is (a cost of over £5000). Saxtons have not been interested in giving any kind of help

I was really interested in purchasing a Range River Sport HSE Dynamic from them as the pics looked great and the price seemed very reasonable. I wanted a day or two to mull it over and decided to look a little deeper into the company before I committed to driving all the way down to them from Birmingham. I came across some really (REALLY) bad reviews, plus I read that BBC Watch dog had been on their case. Then I read about a court case where they sold a similar car advertised as a 2015 when it was in fact a 2011 car (which, after it was returned to them they went on and sold it again as a 2015 car TWICE!! In the end, I bought my car locally from Listers JLR. Yes, a little more money, but 2 years warranty plus lifetime paint and interior protection etc. I’m greatful for all the genuine reviews and stayed well clear! LUCKY ESCAPE. Thank you everyone!

Made an appointment to see a salesman at Saxon 4x4 arrived on time kept waiting for about 20 minutes to half an hour! Had 25,000 cash to buy a car was thoroughly messed about by the salesman who kept going off to serve other people and take phone calls repeatedly spent 2 1/2 hours found a car we wanted sat down and done the paperwork and left a deposit was told the car would be ready in three days. We were rung two days later to be told we couldn’t buy the car as it had a faulty gearbox! Spoke to a manager there and complained about the way we’d been treated only to be run by the salesman Conrad who questioned why we complain to the manager. I changed my insurance in anticipation for delivery and had to pay an admin charge! Were offered no form of compensation from Saxon 4 x 4, an absolute joke to deal with totally unprofessional typical car dealer spivs. Beware stay clear of them and give your money to someone that shows the customer some respects! Would never go to these Cowboys again!

Don’t use them Don’t use them, I gave a deposit for a Porsche Cayenne gts and finance gone through fine, didn’t hear from Saxton more than a week even though their website advertised as car is prepped to go same day, so I called and they said there is something wrong with the car and will get back to me but again no one contacted me back so called again few days later and they said the car got big problem so I asked what kind of problem and they said they don’t know and trying to sell me some another car and I said I didn’t want other cars and I travelled long distance to come here. So I told them just give the deposit back and after so many phone calls and emails they gave the deposit back after 6 weeks :((

DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR FROM SAXTON 4x4, THEY SELL DEATH TRAPS ON WHEELS, 3 TIMES MY RANGE ROVER VELAR HAS DEMOBILISES ON ME AT 70 MPH & ONCE AT 35 MPH SINCE OWNING IT FROM AUGUST 2019, THEY LIE THEY CHEAT & THEN IGNORE YOUR CALLS, BEEN IN REPAIR FOR OVER 100 DAYS NOW, NO HELP FROM THEM WHATS SO EVER.

The worst experience I have ever had to endure with a car dealership, please read on.. I phoned Saxton 4x4 on a Friday to express interest in a BMW X1 for my wife, after speaking with the sales representative I was requested to place a £1,000 deposit to secure the car and for the car to be prepped ready for a test drive on the Monday at 10.45. after a 2 hour drive from home to the dealership we arrived, unfortunately on route we had an engine warning light appear on our car so called Mercedes who agreed to get a tech out to take a look and not to drive the car once stopped at Saxton’s. We advised Saxton’s on the issue with our own car and were told that this was not an issue and hope things would be fixed once the RAC arrived. After an hour wait, we were told that the car was not ready to view and the sales contact was not in till noon! Finally we got to see the car, up on a ramp in a real mess. No way to see inside the car and certainly no way to test drive it. I requested my deposit back and after another hour waiting, this was finally agreed. Now comes the salt in the wound! As the RAC were fixing the fault with our own car, 2 managers from Saxton’s came out and told us we had to move from the customer car park straight away, I was gobsmacked to say the least. As it was not safe to do so, I refused and considering the string of mistakes made by Saxton’s, you would have thought they would have been more understanding. I have never dealt with such incompetence and poor customer service. Avoid at all cost!

Our sales person Adam was very experienced in his job, nothing was to much trouble, he showed us around the cars we were interested in and was very knowledgeable about them. When we picked up our car Adam checked the car over to make sure it was in pristine condition, and it was, very pleased.
