DONT EVER BUY A CAR FROM SAXTON4x4 DO NOT RECOMMEND I purchased a Mercedes from Saxton4x4. When I was onsite we agreed of what needed to be fixed (a few scratches and a broken tail light) before delivering the car to me. The car arrived a day late, extremely dirty inside and outside (was never valeted or even slightly cleaned), on top of that on top bumpers, wheel trims and arches were covered on paint drops from the work done. The delivery person said to me don't worry the paint comes off easy with water. This is without mentioning the really strong bad smell due to which I had no choice but to pay myself £70 to do a full valet to the vehicle and contrarily to what I have been told, the paint did not came off. So they did fixed the few scratches and replaced the broken light yes, but created plenty of new cosmetic issues by doing a very dirty unprofessional repair. PICTURES ATTACHED I called the sales representative multiple times but he did not pick up the phone. Forced to send an email to request for compensation of the cosmetic issues caused by the repair (issues that weren't there when I purchase the vehicle) - his reply was, I did my best and I will not be compensating you. REQUEST TO RETURN THE VEHICLE: When I said the car was delivered in worse conditions than it was when I first saw it his reply was - no you can't return it – when clearly in their terms and conditions state if there is something wrong with the vehicle you are in your rights to do so. Clearly bulling me as a customer to avoid a return. Now I am having to go above him, hours or arguing to even try to get compensation for the valet paid by myself not today to resolve the cosmetic issues they caused. DONT EVER BUY A CAR FROM SAXTON4x4 DO NOT RECOMMEND

The biggest issue I had was not being told at the time of payment the car only had one key, for a car just over a year old missing a key is a big issue. Once I got the car home, there was no driver's manual, no parcel shelf, and the car's boot still had the owner's dog hairs everywhere. I called Saxton and after 4 calls eventually talked to a Manager who said this would be all corrected, 10 days later all sorted. Would I use Saxton's again, Yes but I would ask a lot more questions.

Had a really good experience at Saxon today especially with the sales rep Craig. He was accommodating and very knowledgeable on the car we wanted. Craig went above and beyond the levels of service we expected and he was even kind enough to help us with our car insurance. Big thanks to Joe also who was a pleasure to deal with. Great service Craig was absolutely superb. He let us have a look at everything we wanted giving us the time and space to think discuss and finally decide on a vehicle we wanted but was always near when we needed him. Would definitely use again to buy another car and if you are in the market for a vehicle I would definitely recommend visiting Saxton 4x4.

Seamless from start to finish. Craig was excellent throughout the process. Nothing was ever to much trouble. Highly recommend.
Recently purchased my second Range Rover from Saxton 4x4 and thanks to Daniel Yeoman for another seamless transaction. I bought both cars on the basis of videos and photographs without viewing and test driving. I built a good rapport with Daniel from the first purchase and put my full trust in him to be open and honest in the second. I will be back for my third purchase in the next few years and sincerely hope Daniel is still there!
Matt Pacey has been extremely helpful throughout the process. The home delivery service is spuer convenient. Most importantly of course is that the car, landrover discovery sport, is in excellent condition the same as it was advanced. Good shopping experience overall.

Firstly I would like to start with the positives which are I love the car, the sales room is impressive, the ladies at reception were very nice and Joe in the office was lovely to deal with. Now to the negatives which I’m afraid to say there are a few. Firstly I enquired about the car over the phone and we discussed finance and the sales guy gave me a quote which included gap insurance and a number of other extras which he didn’t advise me of or explain. The next thing I knew I was being asked to sign a loan agreement in order to progress the sale despite advising them I wanted to test drive the car and also go though the quote. The finance guy said by signing I wasn’t committed so I did and then arranged to go see the car. On arrival the sales guy got annoyed with me when I questioned the extras in the agreement and said I had already agreed to them when clearly I had not. I also noticed the rear seats didn’t fold down fully and he tried to tell me this was because of the leather and the stuffing in the seat which was a joke. When we went into the office to discuss the sale I advised I wanted the finance but did not want the gap insurance or any additional extras. A week later the car was ready for collection and the rear seat was supposedly fixed as it needed to be calibrated (it still doesn’t go down fully). Once again the loan agreement had an extra added on which was some protection for under the car which once again he said I agreed to which I categorically did not but it was too late to remove. After taking the car home we realised the reversing sensors weren’t working and when I spoke to the garage there advise was bring it to your local Land Rover garage as it’s under warranty. I cannot get an appointment in the garage for 2 weeks and then I will be left without my car for a min of a day and I have no other form of transport. I know things break and cars have issues but this clearly should have been picked up before the car was sold to me. Overall I feel my experience could have been so much better and if I was the owner of Saxon 4x4 I would consider retraining the sales team as they have obviously forgotten the customer is No.1 and people buy from people they trust. Another recommendation would be to diversify ur work force as the only two women there were on reception.

Due to the high turnover, difficult for the sales team to understand the full specification of the vehicles currently for sale, so can be misleading. Great prices and with such a vast range, and real opportunity to compare cars instantly. Saxton clearly find it hard to keep up with the turnover of stock so not all advertised cars are available and not clear what is due in. Raise issue and no one has contacted, as my sale had gone through, so clearly moved on.
